Very cute hotel with some drawbacks
We loved the location in the heart of port Jeff and the cute holiday decor. The room was nice and very big. The price was great.
The staff was rather unprofessional. The 2 women at the front desk were having a discussion about their partying activities the night before and could barely acknowledge me when I arrived to check in. They continued their conversation throughout check in and only spoke to me when directing me where to sign and initial. It made me very uncomfortable. Also there was a lot of noise and banging from the floor above ours. It sounded like very heavy doors slamming. It's an old building so I can understand that they might not be able to do anything about it. But it might not be a good choice if you are traveling with little ones like us. Thankfully our 16 mo old and 4 year old were so exhausted from their travels that they weren't disturbed. Also their neon accent lighting is hideous and doesn't fit with the old nautical charm of the place
