You can get to the hotel from the airport using several private and public means. The primary incoming and outgoing transport that connects to the hotel from the Portland International Airport (PDX) includes the Amtrak Downeaster and Concord Trailways. Public transportation consists of the Metro, Zoom Bus, or the Casco Bay Lines Ferry. While the Inn at St John doesn't have airport shuttles to the hotel, they offer transportation reimbursement of $5-$7 for taxi rides from the airport. You can also take advantage of the many rental car companies at the airport and enjoy a faster, private ride to the hotel at your convenience.

The Inn at St John is a family and pet-friendly hotel with understanding management and staff. Pets are allowed at the hotel, and you can bring them to your room throughout your stay. This fee is not included in your reservation and may be ticketed separately per day or hour, depending on the parking lot rates.

All guests planning to stay at the Inn at St John must book 24 hours in advance. You can arrive at the hotel any time after 3 pm on the day of your first stay.  The hotel has a free cancellation policy for any reservations canceled within 24 hours. However, for any reservations canceled after 24 hours, the hotel does not refund deposits made for the first night. If you arrive earlier than the specified check-in time, you are welcome to park your car at the hotel's parking lot and leave your luggage at the front desk. The hotel's front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, and your luggage and valuables will be safely kept for you until check-in time.
