Pros (+) The room was beautiful and large with a seating area in addition to the regular desk. Otherwise basic amenity which was perfect. We were on the 4th floor with a balcony that overlooked the pool and the river. The bathrooms look newly remodeled and are amazing. The large shower has a nice bench in it so you can put your toiletries somewhere without balancing them on the little shelf most hotel show...
Cons (-) Housekeeping cleaned our room and did a fast basic job. They took all the towels that were used and replaced the regular towels, but didn't replace the bathmat so we had to use a towel for that. They didn't replace the shampoo or soap that had been used, no big deal with the soap, but we had used the little bottle of shampoo. The attention to detail just wasn't there. Pros (+) I like that it's so close to down town and yet because of the river is very relaxing. It also has a great walk around the island.
Cons (-) Older hotel overall. But they have done a good job working around it with little room updates
