The is located in a horrible section of downtown Portland. I felt safe at the hotel, but walking downtown was a nightmare. I did appreciate the well lit entrance and the canopy outside to help with rain and it offered a sense of safety. The lobby/sitting area is stunning!

Pros (+) The rooms were fine. The lobby was nice and the happy hour daily was an added bonus. Excellent location.
Cons (-) The room was quite small. Even an extra toothpaste was 6 bucks and water was just as expensive. For 5-star service we should expect a few complimentary things.

Pros (+) Friendly staff; fun, funky decor; nicely situated downtown; and one of the best workout facilities I've seen for a hotel this size (a few elliptical machines, weights, cable machines, pull up bar, etc.).
Cons (-) The parking is expensive, and works out to be a hidden cost: $26 per day, or $41 if you leave your car overnight.
