Hit and Miss, infrastructure, location and design were lovely. The pillows and hair dryer were dollar store quality however. The breakfast room was very nice with a well stocked buffet. However the powdered eggs were somewhere between prison and hospital grade. And if they weren’t powdered but fresh that’s even worse. The bacon was ultra processed pancetta as salty as sardines. This is our second stay within a year and we love its safety, closeness to duomo and shopping area, great restaurants. Ease of getting to Linate, Metro and trains.

Water bottle in room. Has to walk up to last floor - no elevator to top floor. Room is really small and quite depressing as very small window with no view.

Pros (+) The hotel is very chic, the staff are helpful, the breakfast is great, and the location is convenient.
Cons (-) It needs storage space—there is a closet but no dresser to put your things in. The mattress was very hard. We had a great stay despite these things and would stay here again.

Pros (+) The staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating. Overall Avery good value.
Cons (-) Boutique hotels in Italy usually don't have gyms. Hotel Milano Scala is an exception. Unfortunately, their small gym has lame cardio equipment. Bring your trainers, hope for clear skies and jog around Parco Sempione.
