Beautiful space in great location and staff were friendly. However, there weren’t washcloths in rooms and you can only get ice delivered. Had to call three times to get both and only got them when I went looking for workers in the halls.

Loved the 2 BR Residence Suite. Check-in was super smooth, our room was ready early. The pool deck is pretty nice, great towel service, solid drinks at the pool bar. Sugar is a great, rooftop space with lush botanicals. The drinks are a few bucks too pricey for what you get, imo. But all in all I would completely stay here again.

Pros (+) The hotel is very central and is located in brickell city center. We got a 2 bedroom residence and it was gorgeous. The food from room service was delicious.
Cons (-) The customer services from the staff was 50/50. Some staff were very warm and helpful and other staff answer the phone “hello yeh”. There was an issue with the auto lights in the room and engineering was called several times. We were traveling with a 2 year old so the lights turning on and off after 10pm weren’t ideal. When it was brought to the front desks attention the next morning no apologies ...

Pros (+) Loved the location. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. No loud kids or partying. Friendly staff. Found the “text” service was very helpful in getting ice and extra towels delivered. Would stay there again.
Cons (-) Few observations rather than dislikes. Once arrived went to the restaurant at 10 to find it was closed. No problem we had drinks (Daniel was great). Tried to have room service the following night, called order at 10:30pm. Was told kitchen was closed (was understood that the kitchen closes at 11pm). Tried to have a drink a few nights after and the bartender (a girl with short black hair this time) ...

Pros (+) Eventhough an old hotel, it is cery well maintained. Rooms are nice and the pool deck is perfect for a relaxing day.
Cons (-) They could not find my reservation. Check-in took over 25mns.

Cons (-) terrible service COCKROACHES- when I told the front desk there were cockroaches in my room- there was no apology or anything super dark rooms- like you are staying in a dungeon with no natural daylight

Cons (-) Staff was unhelpful and delayed providing a room until Kayak faxed over confirmation, even though I had a confirmation number and email on my phone. When I finally got the room it was not cleaned from the previous occupant, there were dirty towels on the floor, dirt in the sink, and dirty sheets. Will not be going to this hotel again.

Cons (-) We booked to get some A/C after Hurricane Irma. When we arrived they would not honor the rate we had already paid online and tried to charge us an extra $65 per night. They wouldn't budge. Do not pay these Criminals, they should be out of business.
