No self parking after circling around the lot several times. Finally called the front desk and wa advised to self park at a valet spot. Sold out night and did not get 2 double beds as charged by kayak.com. A group of friends had to squeeze in king size bed (in 2 rooms) and slept on the dirty carpeted floor. Canceled 3rd room booked with 2 beds because it was unavailable. Horrible experience!
Nice price room was great and we did not have any other guess making loud noises. Love the steak house
If you are going to Reno to play some slots maybe some table games or keno Harrah's is just fine a little small compared to some of the surrounding Casinos and a little outdated feeling but there was enough games to keep us occupied.
But if you are going to Reno to bet on sports then Harrah's is not the casino you would want to visit. Their sports book area is small old with small T.V.s and no sound there is limited seating and no wait staff for eating or drinking, the areas that have larger screens and better seating are kept shut down most of the time and when they are open there was no wait staff.
Room was clean, comfortable, smoke-free by floor a big plus. Staff at check-in were helpful and friendly. Hash House a-go-go had awesome chicken and waffles!
Table games were not open Sunday night. Entire casino area smelled of smoke
Had to get smoking room.
There was plenty of things to do
The staff was not familiar and didnt want to hornor their total rewards program. They failed even in trying to help with the problem and didnt attempt to educate themselces from other employees
The buffet voucher and compensation for spoiled food mini fridge not on properly fitness area closed had purchased swim attire spent more money than expected on food n shower was spilling water out of tub onto floor wsd
Excellent value for the money. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Restaurants are modestly priced with good food. There is a coupon for a one time 2 for 1 buffet, which was quite good. Location is downtown, which has its pluses and minuses. Easy parking.
If using a debit card at check-in, anticipate a large pending charge to your account, which is only reversed at checkout, according to their policy.
Their were too much fee. The room was not clean ( has blood stain on the blanket) smh Next trip to reno, I rather stay at circus circus and its cheaper
Hotel staff 's attitude ... Unfriendly , send guests to room with non working " door lock " came down to front desk to request room switch ... Rude fry desk staff ...
GREAT LOCATION!(adjacent to AMTRAK station), room (west tower) had a mini-fridge & great value.
Comfortable bed. Quiet. AFFORDABLE. Sweet view.
Carpeting was at the end of useful life and was very stained and unpleasant looking. Odd bathroom design.
Nice clean rooms. Well outfitted. Good casino floor. Very friendly and helpful staff in the hotel. 24hr/day Beer pong!
Terrible restaurant choices (ended up going to the Sienna for most meals and coffees.) Nothing included in room cost (bottled water in room as a "gift" of appreciation, only $3/ea, or kurig coffees in room for $1.50/ea) Hotel windows do not open, there is no exhaust vent on the rooms at all (not in the bathroom either) and the recirculatory system had a filter so dirty we decided to remove it for our own air quality
gamble, stay, sleep, gets the job done.
lack of onsite food options
Got locked out of my room and there was no staff available to answer calls late night from a house phone. I waited 45 minutes to get into my room with no follow up call from hotel management.
The room was dirty with finger/toenail clippings & hair in the bathroom & there was animal hair on the bed. The housekeeping manager had the room cleaned again almost an hour after we checked in, however I was never able to speak with the manager & my calls were not returned. I was very disappointed with their lack of concern & professionalism.
All of it
Price during the week was excellent.
Internet was $10 per night and was some of the lowest speed hotel internet I have ever experienced.
Location great, staff very friendly and helpful, fast elevators, great air system, great looking casino
Craps tables at 10.00 a little high, I want to play to have fun not lose everything in one day
We booked our room at the last minute and the process was easy and the room was a great price. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and mostly modern. The location of the hotel was great, as we were able to walk to some small local eateries and the movie theater.
The smell of smoke in the casino.
No professionals, the housekeeping was a mess!!!!
The hotel price and the location were good.
We had to relocate after the first night, I woke up next to a bed bug!!! Room 1545!!! So check under your sheets and bed frame if you stay here.
Good deal and a good hotel. Hope to stay there again. Great location.
You have to pay for internet. Water leak in bathroom so we had to switch rooms.
The staff was awesome, helping with multiple issues we had (see the "What we didn't like" section). We had to change rooms because of issues in our first one, and in the process left our phone charger behind, which housekeeping later delivered to our new room. The new room was decent, but somewhat small for a double. They have K-cup coffee makers in the rooms (yay!) but charge you $1.50 per cup if you use it (boo!). To me that seemed like overly nickle and diming us. There was plenty of free parking.
The first room we were in the A/C was not working properly, it was very dusty, and it was a hadicap-specific room, such that water went everywhere on the bathroom floor when we showered. But the staff moved us to a new room, and that one was fine. Also thought it was a bit rediculous to charge $1.50 for the K-cup coffee in our room. For what we paid for the room, it really should have been free.
No room service Sunday - Thursday. Inconvenient
Proximity to all landmarks and events
Location to Bowling stadium, Baseball stadium
Split towers, no free wi-fi anywhere,
Close to Ball Park and fast access out of Reno for sightseeing outside of city.
Smoking smell. They cater to the old gamblers who still smoke and are dieing off fast.
That there was last minute availability.
The room was dusty, sheets smelled like sweat, and I disliked that in the morning room service knocked and attempted to come clear out the room, THREE TIMES before I had even checked out. Plus with the amount of the room I was disappointed there was no free wifi or even free drip coffee.
Staff was friendly, room was nice and clean. Good location.
Charging for WiFi at all in a hotel ($10.00 a day) in this day in age is ridiculous. Especially from a large hotel such as this
The staff was rude and did not seem to lime their jobs.
The food was great!
Beds were very bad. Lost my wife in the hole in the middle of the bed. Decor was old and falling apart.
