Ricadi Hotels

Hotel Tropis is new modern hotel, new of the city center and railway station. Service they provided to me was very nice. I'd like to recommend this hotel

The hotel looked lovely. Good location just what we wanted

A lovely hotel but let down a bit by the staff. We asked for a couple of beers the didn't have a bottle opener at the Bar we asked for two glasses of wine they didn't have a bottle opener for that. The lad went to find one but came back after 15mins lifting his hands in the air saying cannot find one anywhere. The breakfast was very poor for a 4 star hotel. We thought at first that the hotel had just opened there was a man still putting beading silicone on the pool doors outside. But the staff seemed to have a lackey daisy attitude.

the service, environment, facilities all were very good.

The staff was fantastic and very helpful. They made our stay very comfortable and the leve of service was impeccable.

It is a first class resort and very well run. The location and facilities are excellent, even though it is a little remote. Excellent for families or couples.

The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the center of the old town in Tropea and close to shops, restaurants and bars. A huge breakfast is served on a lovely rooftop terrace with views over the town to the sea. The hotel is in a fabulous old building and the rooms are beautifully furnished.

The only drawback for some people might be that the hotel is on the third floor and there is no lift

We liked everything: atmosphere, design, location, lunch,non intrusive, but very friendly staff, buildng itself

If you do not want to wake up earlier the church bell could be annoying (we feel though that it just adds to experience, but not all people would agree)

Breakfast food, particularly the bread. Menu more suited to german clients.

We arrived a day early and stayed 2 nights. Wished it could have been 3. The staff was great. Served us a welcome glass of vino and snacks in the room. The breakfast was superb. Wifi and satellite TV en suite. The room was really fun, and very Italian with Michaelangeo murals. The locaton was right atn the edge of the old city center. Five minute walk from shopping, sea views, restaurants.

The villa is a great choice for everyone who want quiet accomodation in recently rennovated historical building. We enjoyed breakfast in the garden and comfortable and stylish room. The location is perfect both for people with car and without. Hotel has it's own parking always with free spaces. 1 minute to get to the center by foot and 10 minutes to get to the beach. I and my wife were really pleased by kindness of manager named Manuela. All staff is very professional and friendly. We wish to come back to this lovely place

The walls are too thin nand there was a distint lack of information in room and reception area

The staff was very great. There was a very nice pool and the hotel had a direct acces to the beach. It was also very close to a little fisher village where we had the best meal of our entire stay in italy. (Very nice sea food, fish and pasta !)

The only thing we didnt like about this hotel was that the bed was to hard for us. The matress was as hard as rock.

wonderful with fabulous views of calabrian coastline. Also some great restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended. Hotel only about 7 years old with great service and staff and very reasonable prices.

My sister and I stayed here for 6 days, and we enjoyed ourselves. The location was ideal. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was good, however, there was no fresh fruit (not surprising for Italian breakfasts). The staff was friendly, and Leonardo was a gem!

Nice apartment, well equipped. Nice grounds. On the beach. No extra charges.

No microwave in kitchen.

Place is gorgeous.

Restaurant part is weak but salads are ok. But near Ricadi station there is an incredible restaurant called "C'era una volta". (Cheap also)

The hotel staffs were very friendly and attentive. We stayed at the apartments which are about 1 km from the main hotel. These apartments appeal to the people not looking for more luxury, but they are suits for who looking for silence,tranquility, and who wants to get out of from the chaos of the big cities. The see, nature and coastline were wonderful, fabulously clean

...Two things worth to make a critic are breakfast which wasn't reach and the very difficult rough path between the hotel and the apartments. your car could be suffered from the some damages:)) nevertheless without car, transport could be difficult in any case.

Luckily it was a short stay.

We did not get the room we've booked - instead they gave us a appartment about 30 min walk from hotel. Appartment was not bad, but it was not a "hotel service'" - it was not cleaned, towells ware not changed, there was no pool, you had to ride a dirt road to get there, etc. Of course they tried to charge us as it was normal hotel room (we refused, and after some negotiations they agreed - super ;) This is quite smart, as they are selling "hotel apartments" on booking side, and actually giving you normal apartments, which you could rent half a price in local area. Simply put - if you had to go to capo vaticano, choose some other hotel.

very good location...vey quiet.....it is a family owned hotel....Very nice people.....Big swimming pool...Good for a family stay also.....Food at the hotel is excellent. We were very satisfied with our stay....good stop to make if you are heading towards Sicily. (around 3 hours drive from the hotel).

Lovely pool, rooms spacious and clean, pleasant staff and environment.

Pool could not be used between 1 and 4 (hottest time of the day!!) and all swimmers (including men and children) had to wear swimming hats to swim.

Staff, facilities & value for money were all excellent

The staff were very friendly and welcomed me and the people who dropped me off with a welocome drink and a good bye drink too on departure.

Like most Italian hotels there was no drink making facility in the room. I would also have liked English Sky t.v. but again it is usual for Italian hotels to have just Italian t.v.
