Hotel has a convenient location, close to where you might like to board a ferry to view the C.T. Reception staff were very helpful. We asked for a room with a view and a quiet room and we received a quiet room with a lovely view. With adding these into bookings.com when you are making a hotel booking.

The rates presented great value for money

The location was terrible with the hotel in a run-down area with no shops or restaurants. It was far from the city centre. The decor and furniture of the rooms were extremely dated and rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The heating also didn't work well.

The staff was most helpful. We reached the hotel at about 9 PM, and the lady at the reception helped us order some food. Given that we had just about two X 1/2 days at La Spezia, they helped us plan our trip such that we were able to cover Cinque Terre and go to Pisa!

Staff was very nice. Free internet access. We were upgraded to a family room which was huge and very comfortable.

Unfortunately they use a spray in the corridors which is so extreme you gag from it. They are probably trying to get rid of the smell of smoke.

best feat was being right next to the main station,free internet also v.good and room ok too. For some who like having a nice breakfast though, forget about it. The most spartan I have ever experienced I'm afraid, really poor probably for lack of effort.

Very helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Room was air conditioned and pool was wonderful. Wifi was great.

It was probably exactly what I expected. Be prepared for the steps! Do not try to lug all your bags down. We put what we needed for the night into a couple plastic bags and took those to the room. But the view is incredible and that is why we stayed there. Location was particularly good for backpackers, hikers and students traveling. This is not a place for anyone with mobility problems.

The kitchen faucet did not work. Everything was very clean. Bathroom far better than I would have expected.

The cottage was great and had a small kitchen with all the supplies to make meals for yourself. The restaurant at the top was very good and served a nice dinner and breakfast. The views were amazing!

We packed small bags from our large suitcases to take down to the cottage as the stairs made it impossible to take heavy bags up or down.Don't let this deter this hotel it was worth the stay.

It was quaint and romantic. Donatela is a fantastic host, helpful and cheerful. Enjoyed playing with her pup on the terrace every morning before our adventures in Cinque Terre. Away from the regular tourist zoo, this B&B was fantastic for a couple

The hike up from the train is a challenge. Get off at Maranola and catch the bus. You wouldn't do this with luggage. We got off in Riomaggiore and climbed out of there and down to Maranola and were lucky enough to catch the last bus. I have to say we plan on going here again someday and wouldn't stay anywhere else. There is a safe, a wonderful terrace, breakfast met our needs.

We liked the fact that we had access to a courtyard. The staff were always helpful and we were provided with a very good breakfast.

Housing a rental car at a charge of 18 euros per day is excessive.

They had a garage for the car for a daily fee, but worth it.

The street it's on is very busy and noisy with cars, buses, scooters so I would request rooms in the back of hotel.

The closeness to the Station.

Would be a pleasant improvement if Staff smiled occasionally. The younger aged staff were pleasant whereas the older ones were quite grumpy.

The building is very old, and they have kept many of the original features. My room was huge with ancient exposed beams, but a very modern bathroom. The staff are most helpful, and happy to help organise tours etc. I had an injury and they were very helpful in getting medical treatment and ensuring I got any assistance I needed.

Room was spacious, bright and clean with an excellent view of the sea and coastline. Good shuttle service from town.

My wife didn't care for the uphill walk from the town if we missed the shuttle.

The view over Montorosso and the bay is spectacular!

The shuttle up and down the mountain side ran only once every hour. We had to keep an eye on the time, otherwise we might have to wait an hour at the hotel or an hour in town to catch the shuttle.

It was a very comfortable place to be

I found the staff very very helpful, the facilities were very modern and clean. The assortment for breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

Room was up on a slope in a separate building, a few hundred steps from the reception and the published location of the hotel. Tough if you got a fair amount of baggage.

The room was very comfortable, fantastic views, good breakfast, it would have been excellent if there was wifi as website said. quite a walk up the hill to the hotel but worth it for the great views - you can catch the bus anyway if it bothers you to walk with luggage.

This hotel advertises that it has internet throughout the hotel. There is no internet at all, not even a workstation - false advertising! I especially booked this hotel at higher price as needed internet.

room is clean and nice, staff is very friendly, but the location is little far from the center.
