Pros (+) It's a real estate opportunity. I'd take the building down or if it has good bones--it's relatively recently built --go down to the joists and completely redo--I question the bones as the floors aren't level. Kehler once had a great name--now its mediocre to poor. I'd invest in redevelopment.
Cons (-) The hallways are not clean, they smell of age--perhaps it's the odor of dust. The room was not cleaned properly--used soap in the shower, waste basket not emptied. The hotel seemed poorly managed. Even a tired old building can be kept bright, clean, and spotless. Everything about the hotel can be improved so I'd start with the manager.

Cons (-) Bed covers had blood on it. Looks like it has not been washed for a while.

Pros (+) Can't beat the location, right across the ferret Dom the Mayo. Continental breakfast was good. Good selection of food and staff present to be of help. The staff throuout the hotel was very nice.
Cons (-) The rooms are very dated. They suffer from neglect as do some of the amenities provided by the hotel ( ex. The treadmills don't work because of the constant exposure to the pool's humid environment.
