Pros. Breakfast
Cons. Dirty, dingy rooms. Beds are so uncomfortable
Pros. Easy to get to. Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Cable TV. Cheap!
Pros. VERY comfortable inner spring beds. i've seen a lot of the new foam (i think) beds at hotels lately but those seem hard to me.
Cons. carpets need cleaning - didn't smell but stained.
Pros. Nothing
Cons. The hotel is changing to non-smoking and the room smelled horrible (we are non-smokers), the carpet wad very dirty and damp. The whole place is run down. I was disappointed by other people's positive reviews??? I don't usually post but felt I needed too just to save someone a poor experience. Read the other negative reviews they are similar; wish we had.
Pros. Nice stay ,kids loved pool ,staff nice, and it was clean.
Pros. Did they clean since my stay 6 weeks ago- I think not What is that loud music in the hallway at 5 AM?!! It went on for 30 minutes- good pillows blocked the sound so I could go back to dlepp Oh and there is a flood around my car where they are pumping out the pool water- good thing I was wearing my boat shoes.
Cons. Everything
Pros. Breakfast every morning that is a little beyond continental. Small indoor pool and small exercise room. Staff was very nice. Small fridge and coffee maker in the room. Everything was pretty clean. I found the value here to be pretty good. There are nicer hotels in Rockford, but you will pay more.
Cons. The location is a little removed, but no problem if you have a car. We had bad ice and the roads were not good, so I walked to the Cracker Barrel and Subway for lunch & dinner. But I wouldn't want to be snowed/iced in there for too long.
Cons. There was a college rowing team staying there and on Sunday morning you couldn't get anywhere near the breakfast area. There were duffle bags everywhere it was like tring to walk through a mine field just to get a cup of coffee someone should have a least had them pile up all their stuff in one area so you could have at least been able to walk
Pros. The hot tub was very relaxing; the staff was very friendly and accommodating; I was pleased to learn that Baymont Inns is a pet friendly hotel chain and they didn't disappoint on that front either; the fresh cookies at check in were a nice touch
Cons. The room itself was just average-- we booked a deluxe king suite non smoking room and were very disappointed. The furniture, carpet, furnishings, etc were very old and dated and had damage from smokers. Also, having a mini fridge and microwave shoved under the sink and a full sized couch crammed into a regular room hardly qualified this as a 'suite', not to mention the grainy, over the air free cable. The breakfast was nothing special either, but that was expected given that most chains do this now.
Pros. It was a nice, clean, comfortable, room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing great but more than adequate for my stay.
Cons. The mounting for the shower head was broken so it was a bit inconvenient taking a shower. Otherwise everything was fine
