Pros. A nice European hotel in with easy access to Termini and metro stations. Easy walk to many sites. Nice breakfast with good espresso and several choices for those with different eating preferences. Rooms very clean, well supplied (reasonably priced mini-bar with water, so helpful after the flight!). I love that the windows open! And that you can make the room as dark as you want for sleep. Plenty fast WiFi. Super nice staff - really lovely people. After my first 3 nights, I booked another night for my return trip through Rome and was happy to be here again. Great balcony with live flowers on my second stay. Both rooms were a great value and I'll stay here again next time I'm in Rome. A couple notes for US travelers: This is a European hotel, so it won't feel like the Marriott down the street. I like to be local when I travel and come with the expectation that I'll have to adjust a little to a different room layout. The room will also be smaller, but I don't come to Europe to hang out in a hotel room. I really like waking up and knowing that I'm somewhere different.
Cons. This didn't bother me, but important if mobility impaired. There is a flight of steps up to the elevator to access the hotel. If you have difficulty carrying your luggage up steps, you may want a different option. There is an access chair up, but I didn't see it used. Also, this is a city hotel - you'll hear city noises. I live in the city, so it was normal (maybe a little quieter than home!). But if you aren't used to night noises, you might want to ask for a courtyard-side room or grab a white noise app for your phone (those are magic) or pop in the ear plugs from the plane. I kind of love the sound of people laughing with friends, so I left my window open and enjoyed.
