Hotel was clean, very charming, located in a beautiful building, right in the center of the historic district of town. Staff was wonderful, friendly and made us feel very comfortable and at home.
Beautifully refurbished ottoman building, the owners are very nice and helpful. Safranbolu itself is an open air museum but this hotel with it`s wonderful garden is like a paradise within. Highly recommended to anybody.
The small hotel is situated in a perfectly restored, old traditional house. It is in the old center of Safranbolu, decorated in the old style (but good beds !). The hotel owners, also the architects of the restoration, are very helpful. It is highly recommendable; we would have liked to stay longer.
The attention to detail and decor, and the location.
extraordinary location, very thouroughly renovated estate with great Ottoman style rooms and atmosphere, very nice and caring hosts, tidy and clean rooms, centrally located in the old centre of Safranbolu; if possibe, we would have stayed longer...
The welcome, relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail all wonderful.
This was a lovely hotel in so many ways. The owners are welcoming and helpful and the service is excellent. The garden is a beautiful spot to relax away from the noise of the town. Everything has been renovated to a very high standard. N/A
The whole experience. The service and attention from the owners/staff was excellent. The renovations by the architech/owner were respected the heritage of the former ottoman house, while highlighting the natural beauty of the grounds. The room was perfect for a relaxing getaway
It was one of the most beautiful hotels i have ever stayed in ... beauty surrounds the place and it was great being the midst of history ... the hotel has an amazing little garden where one can sit for hours reading and enjoying the views ... the breakfast is outstanding ... and there is a car park just outside the hotel ... the rooms are so beautiful and bathrooms and very modern and spotless lack of service ... or may i say no service at all ...extremely expensive laundry prices ... and they kind of ruined my clothes
This small boutique hotel alone is almost worth a trip to Turkey! It is a restored Ottoman house with all original features beautifully preserved and discreet modern features (bathrooms, bar with excellent satellite tv, etc.) added. The owners are friendly, helpful and well- informed, the food (including grapes from the house's own vines) and location excellent, and the surroundings delightful.
Room was clean and the beds comfortable. External shower was also clean and we were the only ones using it so it was also private enough. Breakfast was terrific but was still okay
Good location, friendly staff, nice bed and breakfast hotel.
suprisingly low price for such a great location, well decorated room
The sensation of being in a family house, I enjoy a lot this old house and its decoration Due to its wooden floor it is little bit noisy during the nignt, you listen every movement, although it has carpets for every where that reduce this effect.
great location. Room looks clean, however, the toilet smells a bit and the smell gets in the room. The host is friendly but there is no useful infomation(brochures) provided and no extra service to help guests.
I really enjoy staying there.
Very helpful and kind staff/owner noise between floors, but is old property
Congratulation! Great hotel and great service. I will recommend this to all of my friends! Thank you!
Friendly staff, good breakfast in the garden/bar area. Live music on weekend - semi traditonal but nice. WI-FI is good, even in the garden area. Listed as centrally located but nothing of interest in area of hotel - mostly residential. Things of interest are located in the old part of town about 6 km away. Tiny bathroom.
good value and nice sleepy little town loud live music went on quite late (weekend night)
The hotel is a renovated Ottoman mansion, cool in the summer heat and with a beautiful garden restaurant. It is situated on the bus route to the old part of Safranbolu and there are shops nearby. The family who run the hotel are friendly and helpful in arranging trips to nearby places of interest.
Our stay included wonderful meals, a great out of town location near the caves, and superb hospitality.
This place is very hard to find especially in the dark, but Turks are so nice they helped us all along the way. No english spoken. Feels like a dorm or hostel. Very convenient to the mineral cave - in fact to find this place just follow signs to cave - Bulak (Mencilis) Magari, it is 3 KM before the caves on your left.
Nice and peaceful surroundings, nice home made strawberry jam for breakfast, free wireless internet Owner was a bitch when it came to payment charging us extra and not budging, no english spoken (which may be good), need private transport to get here because it is not in the town centre
It was a lıttle off the town called Safranbolu. To reach this town you have to first walk for about 10 minutes, than take first minibus, which will take you to New town and than second minibus, which will take you to the old Safranbolu...
