7.1 Good
Pros: The bedroom was very clean.
Cons: The property was too isolated .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Definitely worth a visit (and I cannot believe we almost canceled our stay)! Louise and Jean-Rock are amazing hosts. Their home was the only place during our trip where the house was part of the entertainment. Pool, musical instruments, walking path in the woods, wild fox visiting for breakfast... my husband and I absolutely loved it! Or, and the breakfast was amazing. Add this place to your "must visit" list if you want to experience Canadian hospitality.

5.4 Okay
Cons: Very expensive
7.9 Good
Pros: It’s a setup with shared bathroom and no modern amenities. Really enjoyed how I was welcomed by the mother of the host. Really interesting if you are visiting. Good breakfast. Great setup if you want to meet other guests.
Cons: The drawback of the place is that it’s not the right setup for those who just need to rest overnight. No bathroom in bedroom, no tv, etc. Single electrical outlet in the room. I was on a motorcycle ride.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow. As a couple who travel frequently, this will rate at the very top of all our hotel/ B and B experiences. The room was exceptional, very clean and so comfortable. I won’t bore the reader with a litany of superlatives, but trust me, you’ll be impressed. What isn’t quite perfect is being worked on. Stay for a week if you can. You won’t find better. Exceptional value.
Cons: Shared showers. Small sinks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic place that is family-run and you will feel that. The entire family went above and beyond to fulfil even the most special of our needs as a family. A STRONG recommendation indeed! Apart from that, the old monastery is just so cool to be staying at!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cosy, comfortable... Felt just like being at home... Beautiful park, music lounge, books, board games, shared kitchen. Hearty breakfast. Very friendly staff. I wholeheartedly recommend Maison Zacharie! Just one thing to note: bathrooms are shared (each bedroom has a sink, though)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect! Not far off the 155. The breakfast was good. The beds were awesome.
Cons: Some work is still to be done in our room. (Sink and toilet but no shower.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere, the concept, the kitchen to cook your own meals and meet other guests, the history of the house, the kindness of the people in charge.
Cons: Garden furniture look like they have been collected from other houses when thrown away. Although ok, it looks a bit old. Specific furnitures could enhance the atmosphere which is great. It is only a detail and it is how it is done in CA: old furnitures, when getting rid off by people/students, are being collected from the street.

Pros: Good location
Cons: Force tip
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was austere, but perfectly comfortable and providing us with all we needed. This is a predominantly Roman Catholic Retreat, however we were not approached in any way by either staff or other people. Excellent area to explore Lac St Jean. The information centre is worth a visit as the person who works there speaks both English and French and is prepared to help out. Although we did not eat at the restaurant on the property, it looked clean with a good variety of food.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: People verynice
Cons: Someone speak English
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Forget all critical reviews, and go to this place. Yes, it has Monastic feeling to it, meditation in some mornings, but this beautiful place soothes the soul. Love that they had no TVs, but have cleanest rooms and wifi was excellent in all places, Great breakfast (they prep even tho it way past). Yes, the walls are thin; can hear crying baby few rooms across. The staff is very humble, have many who speak English; had no problems. Will surely come next time. The lake is lined by lighted boardwalk, beautiful picnic tables and enchanting flower beds. Enjoy the most beautiful sun rises, you will ever see. Bonus points - high power (30Kwh) EV charging available for free, good surprise :))
Cons: Nothing to dislike. Was good experience.

Cons: Room without charming aspect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Large room, big shower! Lovely country setting.
Cons: We booked at $55 plus $10.25 tax and other charges. When we got there the young lady at the counter gave us a prepared bill for $95.48. I showed her my reservation and she adjusted it. She was a very nice young lady but obviously unaware of anything other than the bill that had been prepared. This put her and myself in an awkward situation. Other than that all was great.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The container for the shampoo was outside the shower and it was hard to park the van at the back.
