Overview Reviews
See hotel page Stphane Collet welcomes you to a former mountain hut turned elegant three-star hotel in the small mountain town of La Toussuire. Chalet-Hotel Le Beausoleil, The Originals Relais is warm and cosy at the heart of the Les Sybelles ski area at an altitude of 1750 metres. This is the ideal place to enjoy the mountains with a delicious restaurant and 19 rooms with a subtle Savoie decor. The spa is an opportunity to relax and recharge in a soothing spot.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice family hotel, modern and well equipped. Ideally located, you can go anywhere on foot. Good breakfast, with fresh pastries. Heating system for your ski boots.
Cons: It’s a passive building, which is great, but it can get very warm at night. If you don’t want to suffocate, you therefore need to open your window long in advance (don’t wait until the middle of the night, it’ll be too late). The fruit salad from a tin is a faux pas in an otherwise great breakfast buffet. Amex not accepted.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The family who run the hotel were really nice, didn’t speak much English but we managed to speak with our basic French!
Cons: Not ski in/out
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice general location & breakfast. Nice Bathroom Manager was very helpful with our late check in Excellent parking Free WiFi worked ok
Cons: Bearing in mind the height of this Ski Resort hotel, was hoping for a better mountain view. Some seats on the balcony would have been nice. Resort was quite in mid June, so best to eat earlier in the day (As we did!) before driving up to resort.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this hotel! We felt like very welcome guests in Flo's house, treated as friends rather than paying customers. The hotel is spectacularly stylish with a fabulous view of the mountains from the restaurant. We stayed in a new room which felt both comfortable and decadent. We used the (included) hot tub every night which is open to the sunset and stars then played scrabble or read by the open fire while having an aperitif before dinner. Part of our stay coincided with the chef's short break but Flo did her best to feed us her grandmother's recipes accompanied by much humour from us all! The chef is absolutely outstanding (sorry Flo).
Cons: I'm trying very hard to think of anything at all that we didn't like ...... OK, we would have liked somewhere sheltered from the snow to put our towel while using the hot tub!

Pros: The view from the balcony was amazing & the breakfast was good!
Cons: Paid over the odds for the room due to the Tour De France! I would not pay 160€ a night for this hotel normally!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top notch hotel, perfect location for short ski, friendly staff. We’ll be back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. the family who ran the hotel and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. The location was breathtaking.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is around 10 min walk from the center in a very quite area right on the slopes. The view over the valley from our room was amazing !! Very clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant of the hotel also really good ! Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Our triple room was a bit small. Some more hangers for wet clothes would be helpful.

Pros: The rooms are right next to the slopes, you can ski from the door! The free ski lockers are really handy and keep your room free of skis and boots! The staff are great and really friendly. Room are comfortable enough but maybe slightly overstated with their capacity. Defiantly get a bigger room than the size of your group requires!
Cons: WiFi restricted to the reception can be frustrating, but you’re on your holidays! Get aff the internet and have fun!

5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location, functional
Cons: They have a security issue. Our skis and boots were stolen on the first night from the locker room as the cupboard was found to have a faulty lock but the staff were limited in the help they offered apart from referring us to the local police. As you can imagine the theft ruined our first day.
4.2 Okay
Pros: One helpful girl on the reception desk at check in. Tried her best to help. New pillows were provided when ours were not fit for use. As was a mattress protector.
Cons: Needs a deep clean, filthy floors, dirty bedding. Noisy room next to a staircase. Forget using the pool - it is freezing. Kids left disappointed.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: You can ski in direct to the apartment
7.1 Good
Pros: The views were spectacular; wild meadows and alpine herds just outside back door.
Cons: Stairwell a bit inadequately lit and grim. loo was in need of cosmetic improvement and new flooring/skirting board. This let down the rest of the accommodation which was okay for the price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were very good. Kitchen and cupboards were well stocked. Good to have two bathrooms and a separate toilet. It was a short walk to the ski slopes but not difficult. good restaurants and bars in the area. Supermarket close by. I must say the lady who booked us in was excellent and also her male colleague, dealt with our problem with the shower and it was immediately fixed. The sheets were very clean and I was impressed that we were given disposable mattress protectors and pillow protectors.
Cons: The apartment was overdue for a deep clean and a lick of paint and then it would have been perfect. Next time I will take my own blankets as they are obviously not washed each time but this is an acceptable practice in hotels. The price we paid was excellent therefore this is not a criticism, just feedback.
