Nice quiet location within easy walk of the town. There wasn't a proper shower that you could stand under, just a shower attachment on the bath taps.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Room spacious and comfortable. Simple hotel, nice atmosphere. Great breakfast. Nice pool and longe area. Would definately recommend.
fact I had booked a table for dinner with you & the restaurant had closed permanently last June. Therefore after a long journey we had to drive to another restaurant - not up to your usual standard with previous bookings I have had with you
We were met by Philippe who made us feel very welcome. He showed us to our room which was well laid out and perfect for a family. The location is superb, right beside the new ski lift and only a short stroll to the village - perfect. Although it was a perfect family room and newly decorated the lack of a proper shower was disappointing. In saying that I had a wonderful bath, something I haven't done in years.
I was really suprised by the room, I opted for the cheapest option of a double, and expected something along the lines of a premier Inn, as found here in the uk, but instead I found a room with real character, very spacious, and a fantastic view! Friendly staff also. Can't grumble at the location, takes 2 mins to walk to the centre of town, but I found the address didn't exist on google maps. Fortunately I emailed my query to the hotel staff, and got a prompt response, saying to head to the 3M Mercure, and from there you can see Hotel De La Nest just further down the 'nameless' road.
I liked everything: room well furnished and comfortable, breakfast generous and varied, city center 5 min. by feet Room was not soundproofed enough, hair dryer missing
The staff room and breakfast were all very good The car parking was very limited
very clean hotel and pool, friendly and helpfull staff
Excellent position in heart of mountain village- so many activities on door step. Exceptional service. Originally booked 2 nights but extended to a week!
Just such a wonderful location. Spa is wonderful and a real treat. Restaurant was very good too. A really relaxing place and plenty a car parking on site.
Very friendly staff, comfortable room and a pleasant atmosphere. I have no complaints about the hotel
idealy situated usual high mercure standard best breakfast off our 2 week tour
'Country' feeling, by a river, with great view of mountains - but actually only 2 minutes from the town center with restaurants, casino, and thermal spas. Only caveat is that you have to want to go to the town in the first place - it is an out-of-the-way picturesque thermal spa and ski center village in the mountains.
Restraunt very good. Parking good. Staff friendly Decor very dated felt needed good clean up. Breakfast poor. Not obvious to find took a while to find I would say it is just before Luz.
The nice location and terrace. Rooms were hugly, not really clean.Food was not what you can expect from French cuisine. Breakfast really very poor, just an croissant and a few slices of grilled ( roasted) baguette, marmelade, butter and coffee or tea ...the poorest breakfast we've ever experienced.
friendly staff, nice spacious room, recently renovated
clean room decorated in good taste, beautiful position of hotel, wonderful village, good sound insulation, friendly and helpful staff, charming grounds food - too expensive, breakfast lacked variety
well renovated . I was pleasantly surprized by the interior of our hotelroom in comparison to the exterior. The manager( Pierre)was also very helpfull. no
Location We could not believe how dirty the hotel was - in particular the public areas. The carpets were very badly stained and worn. There was a serious shortage of staff
Lovely Terrace by the river for dinner/breakfast with stunning mountain views - clear simple menu well cooked and served - attentive helpful staff
Very Friendly Atmosphere
nothing There was no elavator, the room was very old, neglected and uncomfortable !!!!
Very clean, comfortable and well equipped, easy parking, close to town centre .Comfortable bed with good bedding and an interesting themed decor.Lovely garden and courtyard for sitting out Very friendly and helpful owner, very good value for the cost. Would happily stay here again. Everything was perfect, so no, nothing to mention.
The Hostellerie is charming, and the Lesponne valley is spectacular. Our room was in the main lodge, and was very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There were a few things that made it less than perfect, though. They keep horses and donkeys across the road from the lodge, and we had to keep our screen-less window open because of the heat, so we had lots of very annoying flies in the room all night long. We also were disturbed to see the young woman handling the horses and mules repeatedly hitting them -- hard and angrily -- and yelling at them. I work with horses and know this is bad human behaviour. It gave us a sour feeling about the place. The Hostellerie is a family place, so there are kids running around, yelling, screaming, doing kid things that, if you're there for a romantic get-away, would be disturbing, as well.
The bed was comfortable and the bedding was very clean and well presented. The surroundings / views were good It advertised a restuarant - which was necessary as it is remote but the restuarant is closed on Mondays therefore we were unable to eat that day - the room had such a low ceiling I had to crawl into bed and the shower and toilet was cramped and not well maintained
The friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms, good food both the breakfasts and in the restaurant in the evening. Central location.
The service from Christophe (front of house) and Alain (the chef) and their attention to detail, room was comfortable, food was excellent
A good comfortable room supported by attentive staff The only weakness was that the bath did not have a shower screen and it was therefore difficult to keep all the shower water in the bath
