With a stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Chiba-Chuo in Chiba (Chiba City Centre), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Tokyo Bay and Chiba University. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and microwave in a common area. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: Your standard Japanese Hotel. Having a car it was fine for us. From flying into Narita then driving here was pretty close & much better than many of the Narita Hotels which are really ageing. The Hotel parking was 1600 yen for the period & via an internal lift system. Check in & out was professional & fast. We always look for rooms in Japan that are at least 18sqm as. you seem to always fit two full suitcases opened on the floor. Nice & clean room.
Pros: The receptionist provided welcome amenities for our child. We have never gotten any "child friendly" amenities in all our hotel stays. Upon checkin, they provided us with child-size slippers, body sponges, child toothbrush sets, rubber duckies for the bathtub, toy pinwheels, toy tooter horns, origami paper sets. I asked if we were to return the amenities upon checkout but the receptionist said no, and it's a welcome gift. She even provided the parents with beauty face masks. And coffee and tea. Wonderful checkin experience and very delightful stay. Will consider their other properties during future trips to Japan. Thank you for making our child happy during her trip to Chiba.
Cons: Everything eas smooth. Wasn't a fan of hotel chains until we got to stay at Daiwa Roynet.
Pros: Almost everything was great! Location was super convenient. I loved how spacious and stylish the room was. Free face mask for this season is a good promotion!
Cons: The bed was too hard.
Narita Sando Guesthouse - Hostel is in the heart of Narita, within a 10-minute walk of Boso no Mura Open Air Museum and Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. Featured amenities include express check-out, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
Cons: Didnt have the best sleep cause beds are a hard and some kind of water pillow but that is individual. Everything else was good and good location :)
Pros: The things that I liked about the place was that it was very affordable and in a great location to explore Narita. If you have the JR pass then you can even take the Narita Express train to cities like Tokyo and Shinjuku relatively quick. This is a great value for the money you’re spending. The showers were clean and the toilets were perfect. Yes, it is a guest house so you have to share. But this in and of itself is a great experience. The staff if very flexible and is fluent in English. The staff is also very friendly and will help you in any way they can. They have space to leave your luggage while you go explore, which in Japan is a great plus!
Cons: The only thing I did not like were the pillows and the bed firmness. If you can sleep on a really firm mattress then you have nothing to worry about. I am more of a soft mattress guy so it was a little hard to stay asleep. The pillows are water pillows so if you sleep on your side with your ear against the pillow, then you’ll likely hear the water moving around. It’s quiet soothing sometimes, but sometimes it might keep you up or force you to switch positions.
Pros: It was possible to arrive after check-in time without any additional fee.
Pros: The location is good, facilities are poor, not a comfortable feeling at all.
Cons: if you have no found desk and other facilities, you should make your client surprise when they entering your room
Pros: It was easy to access from Tokyo. The rooms are quite simply furnished (no tv) but cute and stylish and clean. The bathroom was also very nice, well equipped and clean. I had to check in at a late hour but I got detailed guidance how to pick up the room keys.
Cons: There was no problems at all, it was perfect for reaching Narita airport next day in a short time. The guesthouse is about 500m from the station.
Pros: Everything was perfect, from the restrooms to the rooms and services. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Cons: Satisfied more than I imagined!
Pros: I never saw the staff there which is not a problem. I did self check in and self check out base on their instruction via whatsapp, which was clear and helpful
Cons: The wall where the bed leaning against has moss on it. The light is always down so guests don’t discover it but you always feel it damp and wet on the bed (image attached) Other areas of the property is better but unfortunately the most important place where the guest rest is poorly managed. There was no blanket so I have to cover myself with the towel and mattress since it was cold in the room. There was no remote control to adjust the temp for it to be a lil warmer either

Pros: Very friendly staff with excellent English. Clean, fairly comfortable for a capsule. Very good value for money, very useful for people catching flights at Narita Airport - great ease of access to the airport via train
Cons: Isn't immediately easy to find from the road - google maps directs you to the wrong building (not hotel's fault) - lack of privacy etc etc --- essentially all the downsides you'd expect from a hostel. But as hostels go it was very good.
Pros: Convenient guesthouse, near the train station leading to the airport. Very helpful and welcoming host. I had a really good time, since the staff noticed that I came in the day before my birthday and he went out to get some beers to celebrate. Thanks again!!
Pros: The hotel was clean with spacious common area. I stayed in private room which could be locked and had plenty of space. The staff was friendly with good English. Perfect place to stay if you need to catch the plane at Narita in the morning.

Cons: Bed felt a little dirty. Self-check in process could be a little time-consuming doing it for the first time.
Pros: the location was good. it is difficult to see from the street where the hotel really.

Pros: Great location and a lot of space
Cons: Scary steps for upper bunk.
Cons: There was no privacy at all.
Pros: very near to Narita station. You can go to Narita Airport within 15 min.

Cons: They don’t speak English
Pros: the space is good , bathroom is so big .
Cons: the pillows and blanket is not good. the price is increase quickly. when i checked in, it`s take many time .
Cons: The internet keep cutting in and out.

Pros: Staffs were very friendly and helpful. There's free shuttle bus to and from hotel and the airport. The room and bathroom was quite big. There're many amenities provided. There're many varieties of food for breakfast but space was small especially at the corner. You have to wait for one person to finish first before getting other food on your plate.

Cons: Everything is fine for me. The staff is quit helpful. The wired thing is... They don't help the guest to send the postcard and they don't have staff for guest to buy.
Pros: Great. It was much better than expected and better than big airport hotel we later stayed at. Very close to train station. The weather was turning warm and the comforter is much too warm. They need a lighter blanket. I was able to visit Tokyo Richmond which had shops and located in a great area.

Pros: The Wakamatsu Honten is a ryokan with very good location, own onsen (bath), helpful staff, cozy rooms, etc. I really liked the room with tatami floors and wood panels. The room was small, but very comfortable and clean, and perfect for a solo traveler. I especially enjoyed the heated seat on the toilet.

Pros: We went to Chiba for the Tokyo Comic con, this hotel is likely the closest to the con center, about 10 min walk, very convenient for con goers . Hotel is clean, staff super helpful and some speaks good English.
Cons: The only thing is that room is very small, two beds were set side by side which I've never seen in hotels this level in other countries. I believe this is common in Tokyo/Chiba area hotels? The one I stayed in Tokyo years back was also very small. Oh and I would prefer the hotel can upgrade using cards instead of keys to open doors...that one's not very convenient
Pros: The view was excellent. We could see the sea and ships. The rooms were clean.

ibis Styles Tokyo Bay is conveniently located near Tokyo Disneyland and the Central Business District. Its 216 stylishly designed guest rooms have 2 or 3 single beds. The hotel features a large public bath for guests to enjoy an Onsen like experience and a well balanced breakfast buffet. Perfect for leisure and business travellers.
Cons: Limited transpo
Pros: It's actually close by walking 15 min and JR to Disney parks. A cheaper option in the area. Breakfast was ok.
Cons: There was a problem with the hotel bus who took us to Disney Tokyo/Tokyo DisneySea, it was January 3rd and there were a HUGE traffic jam when we were getting to the park (10 minn before the park opening just 10 minn walking from the park gates. After 10 minn we had just move some meters so we asked the driver to open the doors, he didn't, it was forbidden he said, the park opened and 15 min later we asked again to please open the door, he didn't. FINALLY and after 45 minn without moving he opened the doors in the same avenue as we were during the whole jam, we got to the park more than one hour after the opening time which was a big lost and already had lost some of the fast passes for the main attractions . They should be prepared for this situations as it can't be the first time that happened so they at least could have warned us, because by metro we wouldn't have any problem. Let me stress that we only had one day during our honeymoon to visit Tokyo Disneysea and it was crowded because of new year's celebrations, we decided to go to Disney because in Japan is holiday from 31 to 4 and shops and museums are closed.
Pros: Proximity to Disneyland.Walking distance to shopping centre and metro station
Pros: The convenient bus to Disney, cozy room, and friendly staff make Ibis Styles at Tokyo Bay a great value for the money!
Cons: The double beds combined into one wasn’t perfect, and instant coffee would be nice too—but these are very minor!
Pros: Great facilities and friendly staff, for people who visit this area of Tokyo, strongly recommeded!
Pros: The shuttle bus to Disneyland and DisneySea was a major plus
Cons: The distance from the subway to the hotel was far - easily a 15 min walk
Pros: The hotel had a lovely welcoming feel from the furniture to the wonderful staff. I was so impressed by the staff member who saw everyone onto the shuttle bus on their way to Disney resort. He waved and smiled until the bus could no longer be seen. I was only there for two days and found the breakfast had enough variety to refuel me for the day. The coffee was really good! It was nice and strong, something I had trouble finding in Japan. The room was small but very practical. The shuttle bus to Disney Resort (all day) and Shin-Urayasu station (at certain times in the morning) was so handy. When I didn’t want to wait for the hotel shuttle back to the hotel at nights, I simply waited at bus stop C and caught bus # 17 which stopped right at the hotel.
Cons: The hotel was a 15 minute walk from Shin-Urayasu. The free shuttle bus to the station only operated in the morning
Pros: I like everything except the laundry
Cons: The laundry machine too few and also dont have lock facility, so other people can freely open and take out your clothes

Pros: Service , amenities at the cost is pure value for money
Cons: Negligible elements that I can recall
Pros: my room was large with a separate hall including a wash machine and a real refrigerator what was very useful for my stay. I will stay there back again next foodex. Breakfast buffet was great enough and the staff has been very kind.
Pros: The accessibility, breakfast and free noodles for supper.
Cons: The bedsheet wasn't change everyday. I realised it's the same bedsheet even after housekeeping was conducted.
Pros: The hotel is right near the station so you don't have to go very far or take any back roads.
Pros: The staff was very helpful in guiding us for transportation to Summer Sonic and to understand early morning transport to Haneda International Airport. The onsens were wonderful and the room we booked had a washing machine. The proximity to public transport was excellent and very straight forward.
