I really liked the room I was in. The best by far. Room# 265
I had room # 265 and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very kind. From now on when I reserve a room here at Motel 6 North Salinas, I will ask for this room. Didn't have to worry about hearing others and located right above the office.
They are pet friendly.
The least thing I didn't like was the price and the constant noise from others.Overall the staff and location was good.
No hairdryer, bad bathroom, rel. expensive for a motel 6.It was the worst hotel on our trip trough california. Small room, very simply furnished.
1.The room was very dirty. The linens were not done. The towels on the rack were dirty with black and yellow spots on it. The phone was dead too! The restroom was the yuckiest place I've ever been.I will never stay in this hotel again, I'll camp in the mountains if I have to. We just didn't have a choice to find a place to stay in because the nearby hotels were all booked for labor day weekend. There was nobody at the front desk from 6AM to past 7AM. We have to use our cellphones to call the front desk because our room's phone was dead. We rang the bell at the counter many times but nobody came. The bed linens looked and smelled dirty. The towels were gross. It hurts to pay xxx bucks for a very uncomfortable room plus they made us deposit 5 dollars for the TV remote.
People are nice.
Carpet in the room should be cleaned at least once in a while. It may be OK for motels. I never stay in motels, mostly in hotels. I expect some basic stuff where such as coffeemaker or microwave. I also like to have an iron in the room. It may be too much to expect...
It had a bed
Stunk like wet dogs. No fridge or microwave. Would not allow us to use the one in the officePrice is too high for the service
Cigarette burns on comforter in my non-smoking room, hair in sheets, stains on floors, bad smell.
It was a convenient location for my needs at the time of my trip.
It was just barely better than camping. The hotel doesn't provide shampoo or conditioner, but they do have a conveniently placed and overpriced vending machine where you can buy it, or go to Walmart and not support this horrible lack of service.Thank goodness I was here without my family and for an Obstacle Course Race where I was going to get filthy anyway. I would never bring my wife or child to this place.
