Sami Hotels

This Resort is located in a very beautiful setting with excellent poolside amenites. THe staff were all very courteous and friendly and the food was tasty and nicely presented. The overall ambience of the hotel is modern, clean and very well run. A 10 minute stroll along the coast takes you to the town of Sami, filled with shops, restaurants- a perfect way to spend the evenings.

I stayed at the Kyma Hotel when visiting Sami for 2 nights (July 20-22, 2015)before leaving Kefalonia. Booked the room last minute and got a good price. The hotel is located right in the town center by the harbor. I had a room with a sea view so it looked right onto the harbor. It was great for sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset. Very beautiful! Though it can get noisy at night from people out in the main square until late so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs or just stay out late as well and it won't be an issue =) The room was pretty basic. I had a double but was traveling alone so it was fairly spacious for me. The room was simple but had everything I needed. It even had a fridge which was great! The hotel is a little older looking and you can tell from some of the amenities that they are, but everything worked and it was just what I needed for two nights. The best part of my stay there though has to be the hotel staff. Anastasia checked me in and was so pleasant and helpful. From the moment I got there she was happy to answer any of my questions, give me great suggestions for places to visit, helped arrange taxis, etc. She was great! It really made my stay that much more wonderful If you're looking for a simple, clean, central, no frills place to stay in Sami, with very kind and helpful staff, I highly recommend Kyma.
