Location. Under much needed renovation. Would have been nice to know at time of booking. Air filter so plugged air wouldn't flow. Toilet wouldn't stop running. Blood on comforter. No coffee maker in room. Not at all what you'd expect from a Hyatt. Staff was great when we told them about issues.
we didnt like much. they didnt include on the web that the hotel is going through massive renovations. pool was closed which we wanted to use so badly during our short vacation. The gym was also out of service. it was very disappointing of an experience.
Location The whole place smelled dusty due to the construction-- I booked a 300 dollar room and they said that there was no running water--- moved me into another room with no view but not any cheaper
Location Valet and bell hops were friendly and helpful. First check attempt was not successful due to a power outage that only affected the computers. Employee was also rude and really should find a job that does not involve working with people. Attempted to order food to go in the restaurant, after waiting for 25mns while the waiter was watching a football game we gave up and left. Rooms were dated and dingy. Would not recommend as a platinum passport member.
Beautiful hotel with strong drinks! No nightlife near by.
Under construction, noisey
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The shower was not clean and was hard to turn on. Water pressure was very low. Not desirable.
Room layout, beds, a lot of outlets, very clean HUGE construction project in the middle atrium, hence noise and no restaurant. Bathroom amenities very, very limited - need to ask for basic things like Q-tips and other (yes, they are available - a nice list in the room) but having only soap and shampoo in the room is not sufficient
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and polite. We were staying for one night before having to be at the UCSF children's hospital the next day and we all slept like babies. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was very soft overall we had a great stay.
The bath robes and the gym it's 24hrs How the tv worked and the remote sorta sucked. They need to upgrade
Food at 360 was great. Beds were comfy. No microwaves in room. No liquid coffee creamer, just powder.
Exceptional customer service. Unclean.
I liked the quietness, the calmness, the beauty of the room, the internet service, the choice for breakfast, the helpfulness of the staff, the neighbourhood behind the hotel and the design of the interior and exterior and outfront garden. I did not like the service from the airport. I ended up getting my own cab to the hotel after waiting for about 1 hour outside at the airport. Part of it was my fault as, for a while, I was standing higher up on the island so I understand why there was difficulty. When I, finally, did stand in the correct place, however, no cab came by to find me. I am not sure how this can be changed, as, for me, for my first time at your place, I didn't, initially, understand where your shuttle service did its pick up. So, it seems to end up - that I was looking for an unknown and, the cabby is looking for an unknown. On the way back, I waited 35 minutes for a pick up, after making arrangements early. So, it isn't so great!
The beds were comfortable, plenty of room and friendly staff. Beautiful and simple room. Great experience.
The staff serivce was exceptional and went above and beyond! The hotel was nice and clean. Worth every penny!
Large, nice and clean rooms. Good breakfast buffet included. The free shuttle service was not very efficient and the staff was not very helpful in finding a solution.
Beautiful room, clean. Only the temp was uncomfortable. The temperature control did not seem to work; the room was too hot and the thermostat was turned down to 59. It felt like 80 degrees.
The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was very polite. They upgrated us to a Junior Suite at the same price we have booked for a standard room (we have not asked for). The best hotel near SFO.
Very clean, well appointed modern rooms, with 100% Cotten sheets and down comforters. His and her bathrobes. Standard continental breakfast, with bonus Starbucks coffee. Evening has coffee/tea with cookies and complimentary glass of wine. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel and we definitely will stay again.
A nice hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful.
I loved the staff, the decor, and the service. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Nope! Loved everything!
Very handy for SFO (free car, takes ~10 min), so perfect for our early flight. Great friendly service. Good free wifi, and we got a free upgrade to a nice spacious suite. Very comfortable bed and good linen and toiletries. Good Mexican restaurant (Don Pico's) just a few minutes' walk down the road. Reasonable breakfast, and nice free cookies. Located on the main road, with no decent views of anything much.
nice clean hotel, friendly staff overpriced daily parking, overpriced internet
The hotel was clean & pretty well maintained. The staff were not helpful or friendly. The pool was freezing. The wifi was $10 and parking was very expensive. I was hoping for a nice quick pleasant overnight stay. It was quick but not so pleasant.
Hotel provided shuttles every 15 minutes to the airport. They dropped you off at your gate. Very nice.
We liked having a free shuttle to the airport as well as the indoor pool. It was great for our one year old to swim and get some energy out before a cross country flight. Staff were very accommodating and provided us with a crib for the room. The hotel restaurant was very expensive, but this is not surprising for San Francisco.
We liked the overall vibe and style. We didn't like the inconsistent customer service and the room vibrated from the restaurant's exhaust fan. (We moved to another room.)
Convenient to airport n hwy Tight room
The staff was very helpful and the conference rooms and facilities were very nice and what you would expect from the Westin. Room was clean. Good location First thing I was thoroughly disappointed in was the pillows. After traveling I was tired so I immediately fluffed up the pillows to lay down for a short nap. But the pillow cases sounded and felt like paper!!! And 3'outnofnthen4 pillows were so lumpy and flat, not one firm pillow and that combined with uncomfortable pillow cases I woke up with a neck ache. Bed was uncomfortable . And the sound level in our room was so LOUD that we were woken several times by people walking by talking and each room to either left or right we heardbeverybtime the toilet flushed and every conversation or slammed door. Very disappointed in my stay this time. Better soundproofing the rooms..it felt like paper thin walls!
Very close to the Airport and convenient shuttle for departures/arrivals Nice pool, size was great for doing laps Didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked great We had to arrange returning a rental car and the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. A fridge/microwave in the room would have been nice for the price but otherwise it was great.
Through Expedia I got a great deal to stay at the Westin for 3 nights and it was great! I stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend and even though it was a holiday the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nice shower, awesome beds and it's close to the bay so you can just walk outside for a beautiful veiw and walk. Also has a free shuttle and is a short walk to the BART station!
Parking is $25 Come on. Also, Westin withheld $100. from my card for "incidentals" wi/o notification. The cheesy glasses in the room were carefully encased in cheap plastic wrap with the prepared label "SPG Members" affixed to the bottom of each glass, alerting the non-SPG Members that they would be charged for unwrapping the household plastic wrap from the glass if they dared to venture to drink from actual glass rather than from the plastic UNlabeled "glass" next to the special SPG one. The tub drained poorly. This hotel is full of itself and not much else in terms of service and ambiance.
Nicest hotel staff I've encountered in a very long time. They were incredibly accommodating to myself, my husband, and my 2 year old daughter. We had an overnight stay for a connecting flight and the hotel is extremely close to the airport with a very quick and frequent airport shuttle bus. We happened to be stuck there with a delayed flight on my daughters 2 year birthday and when the staff found out they gave us an extended check out and treated the birthday girl to pasta and a birthday brownie. It was a really pleasant surprise for a tired and traveling family. Thank you Westin!!!
The location is the only good thing about this hotel Customer service was horrible after a long flight
Most hotels including other Hilton owned hotels offer a free breakfast. This one does not. So, even though we liked this hotel very much otherwise, we will probably go back to the Embassy. It was surprising that they didn't, though since most all do including other Hilton's! I hope that changes as I am a new Hilton Honors Club Member as well. I was told I had to be a "Gold" member to get this. The only problem, being handicapped, I don't travel enough to ever reach that level, but do go every year to SF and NY with my family. A comp'd breakfast would be great.
Front desk staff were very helpful and attentive with booking taxis, looking into tours, explaining the BART system, accommodating room needs, etc. Bistro was understaffed. Lines for breakfast were long and very slow moving. One morning the one worker who had to ring up food, make it and serve it - was so overwhelmed that she forgot to give me my food. I ran out of time to wait for it and when I tried to cancel my order she gave me a hard time about it. Kids wanted to swim in pool but the water was ice cold and not possible for them to swim in it. This was a huge disappointment.
Clean room. Great coffee in room. Staff very friendly Cold pool, too much chlorine in jacuzzi, the room doors make a lot of noise when opened and closed.
Too noisy - aircrafts taking off constantly. No real breakfast option.
Proximity to airport was excellant. decent restaurants clolse by. not great continental breakfast
The facility was spotless. Could hear the television in the room next-door.
cheerful and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Good rooms with v.good facilities for the traveller an internet terminal would have made my stay perfect
The staff was very attentive to our needs. My bank had changed my credit card number so they could not CONFIRM our reservation, however, I called ahead and they took care of all our needs in a friendly way- they even upgraded us to a bigger room which was great for our family.
Staff was really friendly and helpfull. It was only a little bit of a walk to the BART so it was easy to get into the City. Breakfast was included and was tasty. For the money there was really nothing I could say that was negative!
This hotel is convenient to the rental car center. I had a flight leaving during morning rush hour so was glad i only had a few blocks to drive.
The hotel staff is very kind and location is very convenient
Comfort ok - Conviently placed at 5min from sfo airport Hotel not really insulated against noise. You could hear people in the corridors.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was comfortable. Breakfast could use an alternative to eggs for protein---maybe peanut butter?
The room was clean and big with fridge, microwave and kit for coffee and tea. The price was ok and the shuttle bus was on time (for other customers: shuttle bus arrives at the hotel at .00 and .30 every hour; you must book it at the Reception). Near the hotel there is nothing interesting (if you want go to San Francisco without the car, you have to go to San Bruno bart Station -15 minutes from the hotel by foot).
The room was very spacious and the micro and frig were a great bonus. We were very comfortable and it was close to everything we wanted to do. Downtown was far enough away that we didn't have to deal with the traffic but close enough to go there for sightseeing and eating with only a short drive back to our room. I can't think of one thing we didn't like or that we would change.
We needed a place to stay near SFO that provided free airport shuttle. I found this hotel on Kayak, and while it was more than I had planned to spend for one night, it was worth it! The bed was so very comfortable - I didn't want to get out of it in the morning! The room was exquisitely appointed and the staff was very accommodating despite there being a very boisterous party off the lobby - which spilled into the lobby at times. The front desk staff handled a group of small children who were taking items from the Market Place behind the desk extremely well! Thank you so much! More than I wanted to spend for a hotel room.
They charged extra fees.
Nice view beds very comfortable.
The hotel feels like it has all of the upgraded tech and decor a geeky guy like myself want out of a hotel. It was clean, close to the airport, and didn't have any noise coming from any highways or streets. We arrived late in the evening after a long flight to find our room wasn't ready. (at 12:30am) The front office manager said the floors had been cleaned that day, so it might feel a bit damn in the halls. Feeling tried we said Okay, and got our room key and went right to our room. The first thing we see is carpet fans scattered all over the room with every moveable piece of furniture stacked on our beds. It took another 45min to get our room switched for one that didn't have any fans, and we were questioned like we made the entire thing up. Only issue we had was the miscommunication from the office manager regarding the overnight parking. I was told it would only be $14 and I would have to use the parking machine in the garage. Well, the machine charges $20 for overnight, and I had actually already been charged $14 for parking on my room bill. So i paid for parking twice...We had to leave for the airport or I would have fought it.
Good location. Rooms are clean and well kept. My friends left 4-5 messages for me but when I checked, I was told there were no messages left for me. So I didn't get to meet up with my friends. Pretty bad.
Not much. No microwave. No fridge. No good complimentary coffee or snacks. Pool and hot tub weren't working when they told me they would be. And room smelled like smoke. No microwave. No fridge. No good complimentary coffee or snacks. Pool and hot tub weren't working when they told me they would be. And room smelled like smoke. Had to pay for parking and wifi! No complimentary breakfast.
The hotel is very good, it has clean facilities and friendly staff. I recommend the hotel for anyone that needs to stay around the SF airport area. I did not like the nightly parking fee. It should be included in the room price.
We stayed at the executive level and the amenities included with that were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby is pretty run down and dated. The carpet in the lobby is very worn and dirty. The room itself was extremely clean and modern.
Great price and nice accomodations for a decent price. Enjoyed the executive floor and it's amenities which were superb for what we paid. We will stay again if we're ever in need of an SFO airport hotel
Quick check in and out, courteous staff, and the price was right. However, hotel shuttle took almost 30 minutes to make the full trip between the Hilton and the international terminal. The bedding had some small stains and bathroom was not entirely clean.
I liked the room, big, clean and comfortable. The amenities were also top notch. It was a great experience. I wish there wouldn't have been a parking fee but other than that, I was happy with everything.
I loved the location to the airport, amazing views, modern vibe and look. Friendly staff! Big tvs!! Dinner was expensive in the hotel. For what it was I should have eaten at McDonald's. $100 mistake.
This hotel is simply amazing. Feels just like home. My room had a kitchen and living room, plus a separate bedroom. Hot breakfast is included and they provide a shuttle to nearby areas. BART Is walking distance or you can even use the shuttle. I will definitely be going back here again!
Advertised as non-smoking -- I've smelled better ashtrays! Cigarette burns in everything. Very intrusive road noise. No electrical outlets, except one illegal extension cord behind the bed. Non-functional fridge. Booked the place out of desperation - never again. Worst Travelodge ever.
IHOP on premise was very convenient and gas station across street also ver convenient. Extremely run down and dirty..... Bedbugs devoured my neck and body. Carpet filthy, bathroom filthy,
No one mentioned a hundred dollar deposit, didn't require last time. Count on waiting ten days for it to be returned.
This place is extremely close to airport and can be booked via most travel sites at a really low fee in comparison to other places in area. it is a borderline "bring your own sheets" kind of place. The rooms are run down and in the room I had the weatherstripping under the door was mostly detoriated leaving a big gap causing a major draft all night
Literally nothing is good about this hotel except its closeness to the SFO airport. Period! If you EVER have to stay there, NEVER get a room in building 7, it has some of dirtiest rooms I have ever seen in my life. Filthy rooms with suffocating carpet and smoke smell Careless, unfriendly staff (except a lady named Maira, she is super nice). It's obvious that the hotel is under careless ownership and management. I'm REaLLY surprised they still hold the Travelodge license!
There was nothing redeeming about this place Very outdated, feet stuck to bathroom floor. Felt unclean. No sound insulation. Right on 4 lane highway. Incredibly loud. Stay somewhere else!
I saw a bed bug on top of the blanket within my first minute in the room.
The front staff went into back room, opened my luggage, and stole an expensive pair of eye glasses: I trusted them with my luggage after check out before flying out at night. The pair of eye glasses cost four times my stay, so it definitely wasn't worth it! I would never stay at this location again, and after OMRAN never returned my calls, I'm reporting them to Travelodge franchising and demanding explanation about why my calls were never returned and staff were allowed to steal my property without a manager getting involved. OMRAN, the manager, is inexistent! I called and left him a number of messages, but he never returned them. They told me first day after stolen gasses that he was sick, and a week later, he was still sick. All he needed to do is return my messages, and promptly, but never did, not even three weeks later. Everytime I call this Travelodge location, the phone has to ring for 5-10 minutes before placed on hold, then disconnected, then call again, and repeat, until an hour later, yes an hour, before front staff talk to me. They really need an extra front staff or manager on mobile to answer phone: so unprofessional! For the price you're paying at a location so isolated from anything San Francisco, it is not worth it even if I wasn't robbed: go somewhere they answer the phone from first three rings. If you have a problem here, you're on your own! Beware! There really are better options downtown and with BART, you get to airport much faster than waiting half hour for their shuttle, which doesn't run late night (if you're downtown on Fri or Sat night, plan to leave downtown by 10 PM or you'll miss the shuttle to this location). I would not recommend this location even if you're waiting for a flight: it's faster taking BART to airport, which takes half time less than the 45-minute shuttle (with drop off), about 20 minutes from downtown San Francisco. Again, there are better options downtown. Don't stay here: if the front staff robbed me, what did they leave for housekeeping? Not worth it.
Right next to the highway and airport. The first Night i stayed i was charged a $100 security deposit after already paying in full for two nights. I was told it will be refunded in 5-7 business days. I was there in July on the 14th......It's now September and multiple calls in and still haven't been payed back. it's a very convenient hotel for travel but watch what your charged if you've already made reservations.
Carpet wet, room smelled bad, wifi didn't work hidden fees they charge upfront a deposit staff not nice
Nothing about this place is ok. They are very rude employees The employees of the hotel. Extremely rude
the room was clean and has a very nice bathroom. nice and quite. staff was very nice, close to trader joes and dining. thanks everyone who made are stay pleaseant.
Don't know they overbooked cancelled reservation have not received refund yet Don't know they overbooked cancelled reservation have not received refund yet
Convenient to SFO airport; Shuttle service needs a little tuning up; breakfast adequate but could use a waffle maker. I liked the ease of getting into San Francisco via either I-2880 or Rte 101. Protected parking was good. Walls are thin and the neighboring room was loud both into the late night and when getting up the next morning.
Very good location if you have to sleep near to the airport. But it's the only reason to go this hotel! Room very noisy (like all Howard Johnson!), is there really a wall between the rooms?
Clean, non-smoking, reasonable rates, and convenient to SFO. Airport shuttle service doesn't start until 4am
Price, staff was great, looks great after renovations
The staff is friendly, respectful and very helpful. Third time at staying there and thoroughly pleased. Continental breakfast is basic, but plenty. We were happy with it.Very clean rooms
The linens were the most comfortable of any hotel I have ever visited, and I have stayed at some of the world's most luxurious hotels. The TV has a huge screen and a supremely clear picture. 4K?? The location is very close to the rental car return agencies. Very clean. The only drawback was the check in. I asked for a quiet room with a bathtub. The first room I was assigned had soaking wet carpet from a recent shampoo. Instead of bringing me a key to another room I had to go down to the lobby again and wait for what seemed like an eternity for them to assign me a different room. The person at the front desk (Yolanda?) laughed when I explained the reason i had to change rooms. Then they had a lot of difficulty figuring out which rooms on the quiet side of the hotel had bath tubs. Once I got to the room however I was extremely comfortable and the room was super quiet. A/C could use a slight boost.
It was very nice, location felt safe. Staff was friendly. Pillows and blanket were goose down, very comfy. $25 parking. You run into expensive parking so much in downtown San Francisco that it would have been nice to have lower or none there. The lounge staff, while friendly, seemed to need more staffing. It took a while to be greeted or get our bill. There was no fan in the bathroom so while showering it got very hot fast. They had to add on a hold for an extra $100 on my debit card, just because it was a debit. It's refundable but it has yet to be removed from my bank statement.
The hotel is easy to access and the quality of the rooms is very high. Not far from the city and really close to the airport Great view of the plane landing and taking off without the sound. very friendly staff A bit on the high side for the price depending on the day you stay.
They could not accommodate my room and needs since booking.com made multiple mistakes in my order. For my inconvinance nothing special was offered or any type of discounts.
Love the convenience and ease for travelers. The pool- though small for serious workout, hot tub, and work out room is great.
Waterproof mattresses and broken fixtures? Can't believe Marriott puts their name behind this place.
The staff was amazing. Some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. They had fruit and candy out and everyone smiled and was helpful. It was wonderful.
Room furnishings were very nice and modern. Bed very comfortable. Loved the glass shower doors and bathroom amenities. Staff very friendly. Free airport shuttle very convenient. Overall great experience. Tried express check-out via telephone and TV menu but neither worked. Had to checkout at front desk but luckily there was no wait. Would prefer express checkout.
Great Bed experience. I did not.mind being far from San Francisco since we had rented a car. There was a used towel in our room when we checked.
near airport, it has free shuttle bus in airport room is too small and price is a little bit high than it deserved
Fast check in, very friendly staff, clean room, quiet, ample parking. Beds weren't very comfortable, they sagged in the middle. Bathroom needed some minor maintenance, rusty door hinges, cracked tiles, and the bottom of the tub was stained.
Good clean room, kind staff, shuttle service to the airport
Breakfast room way to small, and the breakfast itself way to poor, but for the price I can not complain
Close to airport
Comfortable enough. Basic accommodation, dated furniture.
Clean and quiet with friendly staff. Easy enough to get into San Francisco, and very close to the airport. One of the best Super 8's that I've stayed at.
The hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the San Francisco airport. It's a very convenient location. This hotel is not fancy, but if all you need is a place to stay overnight, then it's just right. It's clean and the staff is friendly. Parking is free.
The shuttle service was convenient to me. I enjoyed complimentary breakfast and the clean room. Morning call service was good.
Easy access, friendly staff
We stayed here for a couple of customer visits in South San Francisco and Palo Alto. Clean and everything you need for five days. Well located close to the airport and great value for money.
Free parking and a fair breakfast
A quiet place to stay almost too quiet. My room had a beautiful view of city and water. The transportation service is very poor. A guest without a car is doomed. There's nothing close by I almost felt like I was in a deserted island.
We have been staying here for 15 years.it is home away from home.
Staff was friendly, facilities were very nice and clean. They had a fitness and business center free to use for guests. Very close to the airport. I found a dead bug in the bathtub so I didn't give a 5 star rating.
The comfort of the bed and the view from the window were the best part. . The location is near nothing so it is better for a business person than a family. There was no fridge but a wine cooler in the room.
Free parking, free wifi, free airport shuttle, comfortable beds and efficient staff were some of the highlights that we liked the most. But the hotel gives more of a business atmosphere than family although we did not have any problems with young kids. One needs to have a car to stay here as no shops in the vicinity. The GPS didn't show this hotel in the search and instead took us to the South hotel by the same name (more of a GPS problem I believe) but still a further clarity on their website would have been helpful.
Great room and value. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Hotel lobby was being renovated but it wasn't too noisy and the staff was extra accommodating. For being near the airport, you could not hear very many planes which was nice also. I would recommend it to anyone that is flying in and out of the airport, anyone in SF for business, or like us that was just in the city for the night (and doesn't want to pay over $200). There was nothing near the hotel, it is literally in a little business district which was a little inconvenient when it came to dinner with a toddler. The pool area was really messy.
not a good service the front desk act like we own tham something plus coffee machin stinked like its never been cleaned or checked
Very nice room comfortable bed and very good value. The breakfast buffet at $18 was not a good value.
Only 15 min from at and t park AC loud. Kept me up all night
It is close to the airport so convenient for a 1 night budget stay. The 24 hr free airport shuttle is also great. the rooms are not very clean. Breakfast was not available when we came down to eat at 9am.
The room was very nice, updated and modern. The bed was comfortable...I would stay there again.
Very nice hotel, just was disappointed with the 11am checkout phone call.
Overall layout, quietness, cleanliness and proximity to BART (keep in mind Millbrae station is closer than the San Bruno one). They may be a bit understaffed. One or two times I had to wait for someone to show up at the front desk, and there was no bell to ring. They did have a "now hiring" sign.
Below average hotel breakfast Water in bathroom backed up into the sink
Free shuttle from/to SFO. Ease of check-in & check-out.
Parking wasn't a problem. I looked out the window and saw a pizza place. Order a large pep. I told the guy on the phone I would go get it and he insisted he would bring. The pizza was kind of expensive and once it was delivered I could tell the guy didn't like his tip. He only came from across the street. 2 bucks was plenty. Look at your receipt before leaving. I always do but when you don't it seems that's when you should have. I didn't like the continental breakfast. Stretchy waffles and wasn't planning on toast. Hoping for at least a danish.
Functional, efficient, convenient and reasonably priced.
I had a suite that was spacious, clean and free internet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was spartan. Some fruit and juice would help.
the receptionist was very helpful
Bed was comfortable. Smell in the lobby was funky..
I had a very nice stay. My room was well taken care of and it had a nice clean smell on my return each day. The hotel is going thru upgrades at this time and I look forward to my next visit and maybe getting a upgraded room. Every thing worked, Internet speed could be better.
Room and bathroom were very clean.
I didn't like the room well is not clean well specially the bed sheets comported and the pillow. The room is incomplete like tissues towels. The service is slow I waiter 2 hours for asking for the supplies. I have to follow up with them again the request.
This was a great deal as far as being clean, surprisingly large, and comfortable. I didn't spend much time there (just overnight as I had a layover). I appreciated that they had breakfast items that I could grab and take with me, since I had an early flight and didn't have time to sit down and eat. The room was freezing when I got there at 55 degrees F. I don't blame them for saving energy, but then I had to turn the dial to 80 just to try to make up for the cold. The room never got warmer than 68 degrees.
Close to airport, reasonable value for money. Airport shuttle is shared with about 5 other hotels, and this one is the last stop. Even though it's only around 2 miles from the airport, shuttle ride took a full 30 mins. Room should have been cleaner, e.g. obvious food mess on bedside table.
Misleading: parking not included
It was great. Nice room. Nice facility with nice lobby! Little bit bigger quesadilla serving size at the restaurant would have been nice. Other than that it was great!
proximity to SFO cost
Great Decor, Clean Rooms, Friendly Staff, and an easy in and out stay. Enjoyed this hotel!
1. Clean 2. Modern look and feel 3. Big tv 4. Big hand washing area 5. Nice looking shower 1. EXPENSIVE parking (no free parking) - $25 a night. With this added parking cost, it brought the cost of the stay up to the price range of a much better class of hotels. (Could have gotten a much better hotel with the added parking fees) 2. No place to sit, eat and watch tv, especially if you are with another person. 3. Right next to the airport, so if you are a light sleeper, or hate noise, this is NOT the hotel for you. This applies to any side of the hotel you are in. Luckily, this doesn't bother me too much, but I'm sure many people would be bothered by this. 4. No amenities! No shampoos or body wash in travel size. Much cheaper hotels AND much more expensive hotels usually have individually packaged toiletries for the convenience of their patrons. It's apparent they did not want to invest in any amenities. The really sub-par wall mounted toiletries do not clean well. 5. Bed is fairly uncomfortable. 6. Bathroom set up is really inefficient. Sliding door to compartmentalize the toilet and the sink area is a really poor, poor, poor, poor, poor choice. Why would someone do that? It doesn't even shut all the way. There is like an inch or more gap. 7. Why is the fridge in the bathroom? - SELF EXPLANATORY COMPLAINT
Room very clean, nice and inviting.housekeeping nice and helpful with request. Front desk is confusing: you do not know if they are busy or not and where you should check in.
Loved the room setup. Not very family oriented.
Modern design features all around, furniture and decorations. Nice and clean. When we made the reservation we asked for 2 rooms with double beds and one of the rooms was king instead of double bed. will seriously consider other options next time.
Modern, chic, lively, energetic.
the staff was friendly dusty rooms! hadn't been dusted
Quite clean room, free internet connection, good price, ok for budget hotel. Too close to airport, so you get 747's passing over your room all the time, no breakfast.
Is it possible to be more queit during night shift ? However, it's too close to road. Car noise is one issue in it. One issue: car noise.
Very convenient to airport... shuttle was very prompt The hotel was very run-down. When we arrived their were no towels in the room and no soap and we had to get them from another room. The TV was so dark it was hard to see the picture and the remote did not work. Had to get one from another room too. Very Old TV. We had to carry all our luggage to and from the 2nd floor with no help. With narrow stairs only and at 77 years old this was a very bad choice for us. The bathroom fan was louder than the aircrafts flying right overhead. Thank gosh it was only for overnight... no restaurants within 8 long blocks, a very long walk to have a dinner at a small Chinese or at a Mexican restaurant... only other food was a donut shop. Can't recommend this one!.
Rooms are clean They ask$100 deposit on credit card when check in, actually we were charged $300 on credit and manager said we won't be able to get it because the toilet is clotted up.... Worst experience e ever!
The hotel was near the airport They really don't have a shuttle. They paid for our cab from the airport to the hotel so that was a plus. However, we had an early flight the next day and we paid for our own cab.
The staff were very friendly. It was a decent complimentary breakfast. It was more than we would have eaten at home. The rooms were clean and since all we were doing was sleeping there, that was all we were concerned with. Towels were thin and a litle scratchy. They could invest in some new linens. The area around the hotel looked a little seedy, but we didn't have any problems and never heard of any. It was well lit. They actually even had some covered parking.
The hotel was very close to the airport. The manager was friendly and helpful No towels in my room, I had to go ask for some. Room should have been cleaned a little more before I got there
We booked this hotel for our last night of our vacation. The hotel is near the airport, so we hadn't drive to far the next morning. This hotel is ideal for a one night stay to catch your flight home the next morning. The room was clean and comfortable.
A very convenient location, between a major freeway and a parallel major street. The breakfast was also very convenient. The parking was very tedious, given that both of the lots are small and one of them has directional parking in which it is difficult to back out.
Close to the airport
Breakfast, well organized in an economical and efficient way. The shuttle from SFO airport to the hotel was not available when I arrived. I had to take a cab which is an extra cost that I did not anticipate.
The proximity to the airport
It is a good, family owned hotel. Clean, comfortable, small and manageable. Good work-out room and equipment. Complimentary shuttel service from/to airport. Basic continental breakfast.
Big room, very good breakfast, big free parking, free Internet access and cheap (self-service) laundry - you can do a wash for $2.5! Internet is a little slow sometimes.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded from a regular room to a suite with a bay view.
Near the airport, easy to find and driving to. We liked the room a lot. Hence we were positively surprised with this hotel. Clean room, nice facilities also in the room. I can advice this hotel to other ppl. The hotel staff at the Check in point didn't look too friendly and talkative. Other hotels look more friendly.
Great continental breakfast area ! No Pool !
No on site food service
I could stay at the window or on the patio for hours watching airplanes taking off and landing. It's amazing. The quality of bedding sets are kinda of old. But considering the price it is fine.
It was great value for the money. The shuttle bus driver for our drive to San Francisco International at 0911 on October 22, 2010 drove very fast for no apparent reason. He drove around curves at high speed and was forced top apply his brakes very quickly when he approached a red traffic light or curve. It was a Saturday morning with almost no traffic, but he drove as if he was in a hurry to complete his run so he would have more "free' time between runs. Also, when he arrived to pick up guests for the ride to the airport, he talked on his cell phone for over a minute while we waited for him to leave the shuttle vehicle and load our luggage. Overall, he didn't present a very professional image for the hotel and in heavier traffic, his driving would have been dangerous.
Good location, free shuttle to airport and consequently to bart station, free wireless internet Staff, not polite, shower with weak water pressure
The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and quiet even though it was near the airport.
Shuttle was convenient and driver super friendly. I thought the open courtyards seemed a little awkward.
Proximity to airport. It was a dump - horrible. And the desk personnel were indifferent verging on rude. Way overpriced for the he'll hole it was.
business center - internet access - needs working mouse and mgmt checking computer and printer to ensure all in working order
Great staff. Booking mixup on my part and they honored the wrong booking date. A++++
Rennovation attempts were in evidence. Police raids. Hookers. Diaper stuck to the mattress.
It was cheap, and it was only a 10min to get to a Caltrain station that put you downtown San Francisco in less than 30min Not much to do in the area I was staying, and traffic sounds.
Convenient location and good price The rooms were a little old and in need of cosmetic repair..
Proximity to the airport. Airport shuttle never arrived so I had to get a taxi from the airport. Price was misleading, yes there was a room for $110 but it was the nastiest smoking room I've ever seen. I had to pay an extra $50 for a room that I could even breathe in.
Last minute reservation, looking for low price. Room was $89. There was an aroma in the room, maybe like an air freshner. The place just did not match the price.
Your website said they had shuttle service. They do not, we were very uphappy as that was one of the reasons we picked this hotel. We will be contacting Ramada Inn to complain about the misrepresentation. Also, they currently owe us $18 that we had to pay in one way cab fair.
The cost was great. Breakfast was also good. We did a tour of the city and they picked us up and dropped back at the hotel.
Everything was great for a quick overnight stay before heading to the airport. It was really nice to have a late checkout as our plane did not leave until 4pm. Only two complaint, the bed was too soft (more so personal pickiness complaint) and there were few Gluten Free options at breakfast as we both have Celiac Disease.
Location and people Older carpets in some rooms; pillows too big!!
Great location near Bart (local Metro-type public transit) and very handy free shuttle to and from SFO. Clean and comfortable room with a safe in the room, good basic breakfast.
Good place, it's worth spending the extra 25 dollars to stay. Would be nice to leave my luggage at the front desk for 30 minutes before I left but the manager at 6am said no.
This hotel near the airport was spotless. Newly renovated, the room was modern, and perfectly located for convenience to the airport. The 24 hour shuttle and reasonable rate makes this a good choice for those who want a comfortable stay without all the unnecessary amenities. I would choose the Dylan next time I stay in SFO. On checkout, Sherri was helpful and pleasant notwithstanding the early hour. N/A
The staff and room were excellent. It was very clean & I liked the decor of the room. The beds were comfy and I found myself not wanting to leave. The complimentary breakfast was very satisfying. The exterior of the hotel was undergoing construction, but they made sure not to start until after 9am. The contractors were very polite and accommodating to the guests as well.
- proximity to the airport and BART station , availability of a reliable shuttle service between airport and hotel (even at midnight and very early in the morning)., spacy & clean rooms, adequate breakfast - nothing negative to report
The room was comfortable & clean, the cost very reasonable. Very helpful staff. Close to airport. Wish we had known before that you provide a "shuttle" service to & from airport.
Maybe the air conditioning system can be more quieter
The hotel is close to the airport and the bart station. They also provide free shuttle between hotel and airport. It is very convenient. The room is very clean and I have good days there. Besides, there are many restaurant around, which I found one day before I left...
Rooms were quite during the night. That was a very good thing for me. Wifi available. Bathroom not clean at all. Took photos. Personnel not friendly.
$100 a night Didn't feel like a 3 star hotel. Maybe 2. Breakfast not good. Very bare bones room.
One of the best dinners I've had at an airport hotel. Friendly staff. Good shuttle service. There was nothing to dislike. I asked for a special room and they gladly moved people around so long could have my choice.
The room was clean and they had a great breakfast. The staff was un friendly and unwilling to help when I asked to switch rooms due to our room being located on the 8th floor next to the roof access. Apparently we only booked a queen bed that's why we were in that room. When I asked what could be done about it he told me I would have to pay extra to move my room IF they even have any available. Also, we had to pay for parking $7 a night which I was not aware of or else I would've stayed else where. We had to put a parking permit in front of the drivers seat window so our car wouldn't get towed. A hotel like this is taking all your money and yet they aren't willing to make your experience nice enough to get you a better room.
Good location. Close to the airport. Complimentary shuttle service to/from airport. Booked a room with 1 King bed. When I arrived, I was told they any had rooms with 2 Queen beds available. They seemed more like twin beds.
From the first contact by phone, to checking out on my day of departure, my stay was great. I came to visit my daughter and two grandsons, ages 3 and 5. We all stayed in the hotel. I had chosen a room with a single king bed as the boys are used to co-sleeping with their parents. The hotel staff upgraded me to a disabled accessible room with two queen beds when they discovered I had disabilities. There was no extra charge for this. The boys were rambunctious and noisy but the rooms were insulated enough that the noise does not appear to have bothered any of the other guests. Once day the maid vacuumed our room twice as the boys had made a mess on the floor. They brought us extra towels within minutes of my call to the front desk and when I discovered the hair dryer was damaged, they replaced it while we were having breakfast. And speaking of breakfast, it was tasty, varied and nicely presented. Plenty of options, including a large rice cooker filled with rice for the many Asian students who were in the hotel. Nice touch. Once the wait staff saw that there were children in our party they had a high chair at our table before we got back from the buffet. When I was checking in for my flight home, on the computer provided by the hotel, I got a little confused and staff graciously and quickly helped me. I was impressed with the value of the hotel as well. Using Booking.com I found a rate of $120 per night. This fit nicely into my budget. One other thing I want to note is that my brother has traveled all over the world for his work but when he is on personal trips he says he books Best Western as he feels the hotels provide a high level of service, nice accommodations and value for dollar. Very pleased I followed his recommendation. The shower in the disabled accessible room has a low tile rim around the shower pan to allow for wheelchair access if necessary. It is probably not something that can be solved, but the rim allows too much water to splash over onto the regular floor and requires a lot of towels to soak up the water. Otherwise everything else was good
The housekeeping staff provided a clean room and nice sheets. I had a room on the top floor, overlooking the nearby 101 freeway. The noise from the freeway was unbelievable and I barely slept the entire night. My room was equipped with a large unlocked sliding window with no balcony or railing (Seriously? On the ninth floor?), and I thought maybe it wasn't closed all the way, but it was, it just let a lot of noise through. In addition, there was a door right next to the bed that connected my room to that next to it. This door also lacked proper soundproofing, as I could hear the TV playing over the freeway noise until after 2AM.
The staff was very accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable.
