8.5 Excellent
Pros: Accommodating staff, comfortable bed and great location. A short walk to the ferry terminal and Montgomery BART station.
Cons: Windows are thin - the clang of the trolley bell was clearly audible despite the fact the our window faced Montgomery, not California Street (where the trolley runs).
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, probably standard for this class, the Omni was well situated for easy access to Chinatown, the financial district and not too far from shopping and the waterfront. Staff were often helpful and politely friendly. I appreciated the advice from the doorman and concierge.
Cons: I don't much care for being charged for in room wif and a better front desk experience would improve my rating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staff was very accommodating and helpful. It was a wonderful experience.
Cons: nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I usually prefer to stay at the Nikko for it’s excellent health club, particularly the pool- hard to find in San Francisco. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are excellent too. I also like the Japanese food.
Cons: The neighborhood is not my favorite but it’s very convenient
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I found the staff very friendly and accommodating. I would easily recommend the hotel to others.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very friendly, helpful staff. Great Union Square location
Cons: Valet parking and hotel entrance around the back of the building. Both the party we were meeting and us pulled up front to what looked like the front of the hotel, was nothing to indicate where to go. Some signage would be helpful. Great workout area but having to pay an additional $25 to use felt excessive.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location
Cons: Expensive valet parking...cheaper across the street but this wasn’t explained until check out and had to drive several blocks to get into the hotel valley due to one way streets spat that point we wouldn’t have wanted go through that again to get to the other garage.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Love the beds, sheets, pillows. Great amenities. Good shower, soft water.
Cons: They charge for use of the gym and if you arrive before 3pm they will charge you $30 for early check in.
6.2 Good
Pros: location
Cons: fees for everything including gym and even moving anything in the mini bar. grout in shower old and stained, toilet off center and wiggled.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was smaller than what I'm used to, but very comfortable. The bed was plush, with high-quality bedding. Good shower and toiletries, fast elevators, comfortable lobby
Cons: The walls are quite thin, and because the toilets are vacuum toilets, they are louder than average toilets, and you can hear everyone flushing. The bathroom door is also a stylish (but not noise-blocking) glass barn door, so if you are sharing the room with someone, they will hear everything that is happening in the bathroom. There is a $25 fee to use the gym and pool, which I was not aware of when I booked the room.
7.4 Good
Pros: Staff themselves professional and very helpful. Great location.
Cons: Huge line check in. Few staff, so took forever. Extra fee for fitness center. Housekeeping never came first day.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and walking distance to a lot.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location, friendly staff
Cons: Thin walls, cold pool
6.0 Good
Cons: They charge you extra for the health club, which is not that great - I found that to be offensive!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was very happy with the hotel, location in the city, the service & the staff.
Cons: I couldn't stay longer.

6.0 Good
Pros: Really cool amenities, close to everything you need.Room service was nice and really cool views.
Cons: I didn't like that after driving two hours up to SF,having reserved my room almost a week in advance they informed me my room was not ready, then couldn't give me an answer as to why or how long it would take to clean.Luckily friends who were getting married in the city had their room so we stayed there and waited almost an hour and a half until they called me to tell me it was finally ready then didn't offer much to try and make the situation better
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Nice to stay in a piece of history. Very convenient location for MUNI/BART. Rooms appointments very nice, beds great. Main lobby atrium is stunning. Well-trained, personable staff.
Cons: Coffee/wifi in room would be nice, but that's unfortunately the nature of the beast (Hol Inn Express does that, not most upscale). I went with two hyperactive twin boys, and though not an ideal hotel for kids in most ways, the staff was very patient and accommodating with them. I'd say I wish it were a better value, but really next to what else what available in the area it was a better bang for the buck than most.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the central location and the historical ambiance of the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is stunning and the staff is so nice. I loved the history and the elegance of the place.
Cons: I liked everything.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Location Bathrobes, slippers, and WATER included wow! Portable led lighted mirror. So convenient. Staff was really attentive to our needs and accommodating Very clean Booked a double bed superior room through AMOMA.com and they offered a king superior at the front desk. Definitely appreciated that. Spacious 2 ice vending machines on every floor
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great hotel, a retreat from the noise and business of San Francisco. It is a beautiful gentle well appointed place to stay. The peace and calm that pervades every part of this hotel seeps into your heart. You relax as soon as you walk in the door. The beds are comfortable, beautiful pillows, well appointed rooms. Great food and served impeccably.
6.8 Good
Pros: Decor, comfort and staff interactions.
Cons: I did not sleep all night due to an event at the hotel where people were slamming doors and talking in the halls all night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked EVERYTHING!!!! Gorgeous hotel- beautifully decorated, the epitome of class and style. Staff was lovely. Room was clean and the beds and linens made for the most comfortable sleep. Pool was beautiful and food was delicious!!!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the overall appearance - the old world charm with today's amenities - great pool! the servic
Cons: nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: For being snack dab in the middle of downtown and over 100 years old, the room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable
Cons: I ordered room service for dinner and had the breakfast buffet in Garden Court - both were decent but definitely below my expectations of what a luxury hotel can deliver in terms of quality & creativity on the menu.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious, great staff and great location.
Cons: I tend to like more modern hotels but this place was very classy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic SF landmark...we never left the Hotel.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room was large & I only had a queen. Bed, pillows & sheets all very good. Hotel is dated but some would call that charming.
Cons: My robe had stains on it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious surroundings and a historic San Francisco location. Quiet rooms and very friendly staff. The Tonga Room on-site is great, the room service food was good, and the gym looked nice.
Cons: The pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. I had to abandon them halfway through the night and just sleep without. I also noticed a lack of the sort of amenities one might expect in a luxury hotel of this caliber—no bathrobes, WiFi was an extra charge, etc. Hard not to feel a little nickel-and-dimed which didn’t seem in keeping with the luxury atmosphere.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Grand, historic, luxurious
Cons: I could hear everything from my room. Housekeeping, doors slamming, neighbors... I also think free wifi at hotels should be standard at this point - as it is at most hotels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel employees treat you like royalty. Beautiful details all over the hotel. Classic history all over! Every president over the past 120 years has stayed at the hotel! First Fairmont Hotel in the world, sets the standard for all Fairmont hotels!
Cons: VERY expensive parking. The hotel contracts with a parking service and valet is the only option. Prepare to spend over $70 a night to park at the hotel, but this is the only option unless you want to walk miles and miles.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The view is amazing in the linens were very comfortable
Cons: Valet parking is a bit steep in price
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The staff, rooms, comfy not over the top stuffy
Cons: Expensive
6.5 Good
Pros: Location and setting
Cons: Service was awful - restaurant had several issues.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, great service. Staff very helpful, especially Scott at front desk
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds. Great location. Nice staff. Beautiful decor.
Cons: Poor soundproofing- we could hear everything next door. $65 parking and $14 wifi. "Courtyard view" misrepresents the huge noisy cooling type towers. Breakfast was 1 1/2 hour late. Dinner in the restaurant was loud and only mediocre.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I originally was trying to book this hotel via the QANTAS website however they had problems, so I rang the hotel direct and they were most helpful. Not only did they book me in, but they beat the original price and converted it for me to $AUD for my small brain. I drove to SFO from LAX - on arrival bell hop service was excellent, didn't miss any bags or jackets that were in my car. Stayed in the main building - Fairmont Queen room Clean and tidy Free WiFi BathTub Excellent staff Late checkout Food selection and room service Tonga room is a must see Location very central to anywhere you'd like to be in SFO
Cons: The main building although grand, is a little dated. The refurbished rooms are good, but the particular room I was in the door didn't fully open because the wall gets in the way, so for room service the trolley couldn't be wheeled in, food had to be carried in from the door, and there wasn't really any table to put the food on, only the writing desk or the fold out mini bar. I had to call for slippers
7.1 Good
Pros: Very luxurious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the management. When things went wrong, they were accommodating to benefit me for the inconveniences.
Cons: Upon checking in, they didn't have our room available until the next day. Not sure how that even happens, but after talking to the manager, he miraculously was able to get our room. I had an allergic reaction to the laundry detergent they use on the bed sheets and my eyes swelled up. I was told that if you have allergies, you need to call in advance to make sure they wash the bedding with hyper-allergenic detergent (they normally use Dawn). For the inconveniences, they did comp me my room service.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Parking at $65 a nite is outrageous There were no blankets in the room so I asked for some they came an hour later. I had to call 3 times to get service. Wifi was $14 a day not free. Coffee in the room was poor. U would think they could provide quality coffee. Paper was delivered to some rooms but not ours
Hyatt Regency San Francisco - San Francisco - Building
8
8.7 Excellent (6,726 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Hyatt Regency landmark hotel has long been at the cornerstone of San Francisco's dynamic waterfront neighborhood. Overlooking the Bay, this 804-room hotel with a soaring 17-story atrium lobby is a Financial District destination.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location is great, large facility for meetings
Cons: Lack of aesthetics, just tired and drab. Parking is just ok
4.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: The receptionist lied to me about the parking fee Later the hotel charge me 75 USD for overnight parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and it was clean
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn't be more convenient, just steps away from the Embarcadero BART station, and very close to everything off of Market and the Embarcadero. The hotel itself is large and strangely appointed in some ways in the lobby (huge sculptures, dated music, pods of work or social spaces set out in the midst of an overwhelming visual scale reminiscent of Soviet architecture). That said, the staff was so welcoming and pleasant, and the rooms are clean, new, and quite comfortable. I did not try room service, but everything I experienced was worth the very affordable rate. I'll be back.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all very nice and helpful. I will be back.
9.7 Excellent
Cons: The additional 29.00 added for destination per Room this will deter me from staying in the City of San Francisco and stay in another city and just come to the city in the day time, don’t add me no charges extra!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent, room spacious, staff friendly. An excellent stay!
Cons: Price a bit high, bathroom could use renovation (but was perfectly functional). A light in the closet would be very helpful.
6.0 Good
Pros: The lobby area inside us very beautiful, yet it's not that unique anymore compare to some of the newer hotels. Location is very good, right access from ferry building and many good restaurants.
Cons: Room needs renovation. Restroom is small, couldn't find light switch when we get in the room. Booked king bed room and was given a double bed room, staff told us nothing they could do. They did give us some credit but only end up buying some water, because there is none in the room.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, great location, friendly staff.
6.5 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Unresponsive staff. Examples: (1) concierge and room service rang out after trying repeatedly reach them for 10 and 15 minutes; (2) waitstaff in bar/dining area was slow and inattentive; (3) we needed 2 extra blankets and they initially resisted until we convinced them we were using all the blankets in the room and were still cold; (4) the food and beverages were overpriced and barely mediocre.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The hotel atrium remains spectacular. Great location in financial district, overlooking the bay, a walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf, but be aware that many restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel are closed on Sunday.
Cons: Bathrooms are small and outdated. Overnight parking is $34.00.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the clean rooms, enjoyed the club room amenities.
Cons: Parking was expensive and inconvenient
Argonaut Hotel - A Noble House Hotel - San Francisco - Building
9
8.7 Excellent (3,638 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a name like the Argonaut, it's impossible not to speak of this hotel in grand, almost legendary terms. Inspired by the Greek legend and Gold Rush-era adventurers, it's one of those rare places in San Francisco that truly merits a term like iconic. Located in the historic Haslett Warehouse, the Argonaut's home is a grand building built in 1907 of exposed brick, Douglas Fir beams and so much seaside character; you feel as though you can almost reach out and touch the colorful Barbary Coast past here. Our boutique hotel is also celebrated for an unsurpassed level of 4-Diamond service and amenities that provide an unforgettable destination experience. Couple that with a positively perfect location at San Francisco's most famous address: perched on the edge of the Bay at Fisherman's Wharf, and it’s easy to see why the hotel is so coveted. A recipient of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award for five years running.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly. From the maids to the doorman to the concierge everyone was concerned with trying to help us have the best time possible while we stayed there. Loved using the free loaner bikes to get around the wharf.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room has a very hip vibe that is a hit with my kids ages 12-17. They love it! The hotel is just a block away from the cable car when we came back from a night at the downtown area. No hassle when we went around SF downtown and back. It is also within the activities from the pier. It is far enough from the main noise but near enough for a few minutes walk. Very accessible to all the great restaurants and activities around the area.
Cons: None
6.6 Good
Pros: Nice room. Nice spot.
Cons: Valet was very expensive, They did not warn about the price up front. They were insistent we took a mini bar key even tho we didn't want one. no nightlife around the location.
Overview Reviews
The InterContinental® San Francisco hotel is a short walk to the Museum of Modern Art, Union Square's upscale shopping and dining and Moscone Center conventions. You can host refined events in stylish boardrooms and elegant ballrooms before a swim in the indoor pool. Delight in gourmet modern American cuisine in our chic Michelin one-starred Luce restaurant and relish crafted grappa cocktails in the sophisticated Bar 888.
7.4 Good
Pros: Clean, had an indoor pool. Staff was friendly enough.
Cons: Everything was overpriced, maybe I’m not a 4.5 star hotel guy. Parking was $70/night incl tax (after 1st night I parked outside), water in room was $8. I needed some antacid at night, 2 tabs of pepto=$2. I guess I was expecting more, or it’s really for people who will use the bar and drink more. Water pressure in shower was too low.
7.4 Good
Pros: Your average IC, nothing exceptional.
Cons: Someone kept requesting housekeeping to my room at odd hours of the night and I was charged parking when I didn't drive or have guests. I requested a late check out yet housekeeping kept checking to see if I had left every 2 hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved it. Get the club room if you can.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms and easy check-in and check-out. Professional and looks modern. Also, they have big bathrooms and nice towels and comfortable beds.
Cons: Every time I’m here, hotel is always busy, so rooms usually aren’t available until 3:00. They do have an ambassador program for extra perks, but it’s only good for intercontinental hotels and not the chain of hotels it’s associated with. Water pressure in shower is low, but it’s a roomy shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We moved here from staying a night at The Scarlet Huntington which was so noisy with road construction we couldn’t think. Everything was excellent and the staff was friendly and attentive.
Cons: We liked everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I hosted a bachelorette party at the Intercontinental and it was great!! The staff was very accommodating and helped us with making sure all the girls were taken care of. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the hotel was extremely spacious.
Cons: There was a "bouncer" type employee at night who gave me and the girls staying at the hotel a hard time. He required every girl to have a key in their hand to get in, even though we just had one person per room have a key because we didn't think it was necessary. He was extremely rude and borderline harassing.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Luxury accommodations. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Valet parking fee is crazy high!
6.5 Good
Pros: We stayed a night since it was near our morning meeting. The layout and lobby is great, and the staff is very welcoming. Unfortunately let down by mediocre room experience (deluxe king) and we could not have a good rest.
Cons: The thermostat in our room was broken and it was way too hot. We tried re-setting it several times but it kept blowing hot air even though it was 75F. It was very difficult to sleep and sweated through the night. The shower pressure was very low. Having both shower head choices was nice, but it was difficult to feel clean because the water pressure was very low and so it took much longer to soap off. For a business hotel, you had to pay for internet. We used a hotspot instead. It felt a bit confused whether it was a luxury hotel or a business hotel, and for the price point I would stay somewhere else that has better value for money. Not having a good night sleep really affected my work day
4.0 Okay
Cons: The room stunk! For $600 get some air freshener.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel and staff. They treated us perfectly. I would absolutely stay here again. No complaints as all.
Cons: The location for us was a bit too close to some seedy areas of town. No problem, but you need to be careful which way you walk.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Appreciated the staff the location and the lounge/restaurant. The room was great with a nice view each morning
Cons: ....
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Given a corner room even though I booked via Kayak Provided with slippers Room was spacious and TV was large - guess is 55" Gym was well equipped but didn't have time to use it Easter bunny was on duty and there was a tableful of candy for the young and not so young - I didn't have any but still appreciated the effort
Cons: Bathroom short on racks to hang towels Shower head water flow too wimpy Bathroom scale low on battery

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Smooth check-in. Found a nice spot for parking. The receptionist even gave us two water bottles during both check-in and check-out
Cons: Nothing bad to report. Will definitely stay again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a very nice room, comfortable, clean, and plenty of room. The shower/toilet area was also separated from the sink, which allowed each of us to get ready without over crowding the bathroom
Cons: It was a touch on the expensive side for a 3-star hotel, but it was also World Series weekend so all prices were elevated

Pros: Most of it is the location and the good value
Cons: The service was not great very unpersonal
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was good. Our lunch experience at the hotel was very nice because the staff went out of their way for our 13 year old who was celebrating a birthday.
Cons: We had people overhead who made who disturbed us for well over an hour. After calling the front desk to complain it stopped about 30 minutes after our call.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great specially the greeters at the door and baggage handlers
Cons: Location location location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bedding, bed, pillows & nice bathroom. Was after hours & our request for room service was still met.

6.8 Good
Pros: The location is great. Close to transportation, restaurants and a CVS/Walgreens within one block of distance. Check in was easy and the staff was always friendly and helpful.
Cons: I have stayed at this hotel before and all rooms were pretty comfortable. Unfortunately, this last time I was traveling with another person and a baby, and the room was very small. It barely had any space to store clothes and had to keep moving the crib back and forth as there was really no room for it.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Gym is decent and has a great view
Cons: Tv reception was poor. The bed was a a little stiffer than I'd like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the new contemporary renovations to the rooms and lobby
Cons: Always like space, just wish the rooms were a little bigger, but overall great value for a city where nothing is inexpensive.
5.1 Okay
Cons: We should get a discount for the noise inconvenience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very professional .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone from the valet attendant, bellman, and front desk was beyond helpful and attentive. Even on a stormy rainy SF day, they were warm and ever inviting to me. They got me a room on the 27th floor with an amazing view of union square during the holiday season. I highly recommend. Also, the bathroom had great lightening and everything was very clean. Location simply can't be topped. Parking is a choice of valet between $41 around the corner and $60 front door. Wifi is also now FREE.
Cons: The mattress sheet wasn't fully tucked in but everything else made up for a minor oversight.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish, perfect location, hotel staff was very very helpful and courteous. Appreciated the free internet.
Cons: Room lighting could have been better. Thermostat was a off and room was a bit chilly unless we used a high setting.

Pros: The hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and polite. We were staying for one night before having to be at the UCSF children's hospital the next day and we all slept like babies. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was very soft overall we had a great stay.
4.0 Okay

9.4 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Small rooms. Parking and pet fees added an extra $135/night. I wish I got a little more for how expensive this hotel was.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Under much needed renovation. Would have been nice to know at time of booking. Air filter so plugged air wouldn't flow. Toilet wouldn't stop running. Blood on comforter. No coffee maker in room. Not at all what you'd expect from a Hyatt. Staff was great when we told them about issues.
Chancellor Hotel on Union Square - San Francisco - Building

8.6 Excellent (3,530 reviews)
Overview Reviews
You'll be centrally located in San Francisco with a stay at Chancellor Hotel on Union Square, within a 15-minute walk of San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Moscone Convention Center. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great location, good price, comfortable, professional, courteous staff. We had a room on the top floor, which was clean and quiet, with a ceiling fan rather than AC. Despite typically being a light sleeper, and expecting issues with street noise, I slept better there than I have anywhere in years, not really sure why (could have been the 12+ miles walking each day in wonderful San Francisco). The hotel is in Union Square, with its incredible shopping and conference centers. Chinatown is about .5 miles away (and a very steep hill), and Fisherman's Wharf about 1.5 miles; a fun walk if you're up for it (but Uber is fast an inexpensive, especially the pool option). If you're looking for a plush, modern American experience, this isn't it. If you're looking for an affordable, comfortable, centralized location to explore SF, or attend a business conference, this is a great choice.
Cons: Rooms are small, no air-conditioning (though not really needed) and there was no real work surface for a notebook. Not a place to get work done. Bathroom was dated, but functional. There's no fitness center in the hotel but you get free use of a health club around the corner with lots of good gear and yoga classes, which were great. There's no coffee in the room, but there's a 24 hour a day brew available in the lobby with cookies I found impossible to resist. Wi-fi is free and fast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: While it was a fairly tight room the amazing comfort of the beds made that small bathroom insignificant. There was also a great deep tub that was just what I needed after lots of walking.
Cons: Tight bathroom
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff very nice and professional
Cons: Rooms are just too small especially for price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and attentive. Location was perfect. Concierge was helpful. Absolutely would stay here again when visiting San Francisco.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't included, but actually was delicious in the cafe downstairs.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to stay for all the important sights Trolley stops in front and goes right down to Fisherman's Wharf for great food and Terrific views, Lori's Diner is a few doors away with great food, Walgreens on the corner.
Cons: All
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice historic hotel in a great location. Friendly and informative staff. Room was small but we got one of the rooms on the top floor and the ceiling was about 15 feet high. It made the room seem much larger. There is no A/C in the room but it was comfortable with the ceiling fan and the window open. I liked hearing the sounds of the city in the evening. The city "noise" did quiet down during the night and had no problems sleeping. This hotel was recommended to me by my boss. He stays there every year for a reunion with college friends. I have not problem passing on the recommendation.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Bedroom was clean, furniture appeared recent. Location was reasonably convenient.
Cons: Room was claustrophobic - barely room to walk around bed. Paint was fresh, but clearly covering 100 years of obvious wear. Musty smell. No air conditioning - couldn't get room quite cool/dry enough to be comfortable. Bathroom was dingy, marked up and had seen better days, and it was hard to squeeze into toilet between sink and wall, even then, wedged in by shoulder-level toilet paper dispenser. Plumbing noises from adjacent units were loud. Weirdly shaped closet with mismatched hangars that were falling apart.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Reasonably priced, friendly and accommodating staff, coffee/tea available 24/7. Great wifi, mini fridge in room. Great water pressure. They updated all the right things.
Cons: Coffee maker/microwave in room would have been an improvement, but not a sticking point. The service at Luques can be slow, but the food is good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value! Great coffee/tea/water and they extended our checkout by 2 hours to accommodate our plans. Very nice. And BOGO cocktails for a night!
Cons: Room is small but doable (without children).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Last minute booking. Great price! Pretty extraordinary. Prime location!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: It was a very nice family hotel with an interesting history. Well located right off Union Square. The hotel staff were all very nice. Though we didn't take advantage of them, the bar and restaurant both seemed nice.
Cons: The weather was cool and the hotel had the boiler running. Our room must have been 80 degrees and no way to shut the heat off. We were on the top floor and the hotel staff offered to move us to a lower (cooler) room. The second floor room was just as warm. The rooms really need local control of temperature.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great. They were very friendly and helpful. The location was also fantastic and the noon check out gave us a little additional time to explore the city without worrying about our bags. I would definitely recommend.

Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right next to the cable car turnaround and in the heart of SF, we loved be central to it all. We were with kids this we were thankful for the arcade area and the free coffee in the morning. Overall a top quality hotel as far as the rooms, cleanliness, and the decor. Also, the hotel is high-tech with TVs that would mirror our devices and staff available text. Highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Only complaint was the beds being too soft.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern rooms, good food, friendly staff
Cons: Valet was eh, pricier but worth the money
9.7 Excellent
Cons: Limited dining facilities Urban charge should have been upfront.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Price, cleanliness and amenities, staff, proximity to transportation and attractions
Cons: Neighborhood/Area were a little sketchy at night time
7.1 Good
Pros: It was very clean, and I liked the 24 hour gym and the location.
Cons: The rooms are small, and the walls are paper thin -- very noisy, hard to sleep.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, convenient and helpful staff
Cons: Dining option is limited in hotel
6.0 Good
Pros: The location was fine, and the mezzanine area was a good hang-out spot (big TVs, couches, and foosball!).
Cons: The room was tiny even by SF standards: a queen-size bed with 18 inches on either side and 3 feet in front. The bathroom was weirdly large...? It's not like people hang out in there. The shower took forever to warm up and didn't get very warm, and there's no water pressure in the sink (so you spend a long time getting soap off your hands, which is not a good solution to water conservation).
7.1 Good
Pros: I like the location near convention center and shopping. I even like the hubbub noise of the street and cable car. The housekeeping staff is honest and courteous, making sure I found my wallet and such. Of course, being in party central for the World Series Parade was a hoot!
Cons: Roaches in the narrow dark closet was a rough surprise. Worse was the twin beds, like 1950's Lucy and Arnez. I don't know how I wound up with twin rather than queen. Prepaid meant no adjustment by the desk.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location right next to muni/bart powell station and the cable car. room was nice, well equipped, pretty modern, nice bathroom, clean. Staff was good.
Cons: Only negatives: the street noise is loud. I needed to wear earplugs. it was fine with earplugs which the front desk provided. the "included breakfast" is not breakfast. it is coffee (decent) and doughnuts. That's it. however, there is a nice little cafe at the front of the hotel that had very good breakfast bagel sandwiches.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice st the front desk. The cafe- there was one middle aged Asian woman who was lovely. There were 3 other people there that were quite ineffective. 4 people in a smal space. 2 people giving excellent customer service would have been more than adequate The cleaning staff was helpful and the room was clean. The 1st floor was very drafty.
Cons: There was no bellman. The halls were depressing. It is very overpricedrepriced.
8.5 Excellent
Cons: There should be free English tea made available in addition to coffee in the morning and it will be good if this free tea & coffee can start at 6am instead of 6:30am and goes on till 11am instead of 10:30am. This extra small gesture will make a difference to many of your staying guests like myself. Lastly be punctual I walked down to M floor dead on time 6:30am on 5th Aug and it wasn't even ready until I asked twice the reception desk why no coffee yet then something was done Stephen NGAI
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The only positive thing is the location. And that's it.
Cons: The photos are completely misleading. This is an awful hotel and I was booked for 7 nights. I reduced that to 1 night. The rooms are small and shabby. It's old with old furniture and does not at all feel like a hotel. It's more like a good hostel. Don't stay here. Unless you like staying in hostels on a vacation.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded from a regular room to a suite with a bay view.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I could stay at the window or on the patio for hours watching airplanes taking off and landing. It's amazing.
Cons: The quality of bedding sets are kinda of old. But considering the price it is fine.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was done well... however, they ran out of certain foods quickly, given the amount of guests. Breakfast staff were polite and worked fast to clear used tables for the next guest.
Cons: The internet was very sketchy and did not stay ON... we had to keep re-logging back on within 10 minutes... TV was limited and if you wanted to check the 'guide' for it, you have to turn the TV off, then back on to read the guid as it scrolls the second you turn the TV on... we could not find a button to call it up! I explained to the desk clerk that I forgot my nightgown and asked if I could use a hotel bathrobe... I was told those robes were only for a Bay front view room. I said I'm on the first floor looking at the Bay and the clerks told me that floor doesn't count! I think under my cercumstances, I could have been provided with a robe for the two nights we were there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. Microwave and fridge. Nice continental breakfast. Nice outside sitting area. Workout room. Friendly staff. Airport runway within view to watch planes takeoff and land. No airport noise inside room.
Cons: For the price there is nothing I didn’t enjoy about this hotel. I’ll be back.

Cons: The room was a little on the small side for the price.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: breakfast
8.6 Excellent
Pros: It is a good hotel in a good location. The price I paid was higher for the standard of the hotel.
Cons: Staff
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Nicely renovated, but clearly an old original building, in a good way. Room is small but comfortable. It's in the middle of downtown, so street noise is loud, but that goes for every hotel in the middle of the city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the complimentary wine hour and friendly staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent, my room was clean and felt modern even though the rooms were obviously older.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Modern decor, well renovated. Outdoor park area was a nice touch.
Cons: Room was small. Space was tight. Since it was just me, this wasn't a problem.
6.5 Good
Pros: Clean rooms. Convenient location in downtown San Francisco.
Cons: The hotel presents itself to be a resort facility and charges accordingly including a resort fee but there are few if any resort features to it. There is no pool or hot tub no view of any sort except going outside, no breakfast available. The rooms are small and it shows that they have been carved out of an old apartment (or office) complex. They have expresso machines in the rooms in place of coffee makers we found them difficult to get them to work.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite, clean, comfortable.
Cons: Charged sales tax for honor bar when we never used the honor bar.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Galleria Park staff were friendly, welcoming, and accomodating. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable.
Cons: The staff did get a little frazzled at the front desk with the large volume of guests for the weekend. There was only one HDMI cable available for the entire hotel and it was taken for the duration of my stay.

Pros: Helpful
Cons: Small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I always received a warm smile and greeting when I stepped through the door from the security guard (who would open the door too!) and the front desk employees. They really made me feel comfortable. Coming from the east coast to west coast, it makes the transition that much easier. The security guard even offered to help me walk to the store due to the late hour in case I was nervous. I was very safe in my solo adventure - no need to fear the neighborhood. Fun location, incredible hotel, outstanding service. A must stay!
7.7 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable and really good location.
Cons: Expensive parking for valet. And no parking at all if you don't do it. After we came back from the day out. We came into our room and noticed that A) the door was not shit tight. And B) when we got in it smelled Like somebody had just taken an extended bathroom break. Which was awful. I immediately called customer service and though the guy was nice he was not able to get in touch with any managers. I was supposed to get a call the next day which I still hadn't heard from anybody till I was checking out. They called the manager for me. Who offered 50$ off which I still haven't seen on my credit card bill. Was a bit unfortunate really.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was ideal, amenities were par.
Cons: Room was not ready at check-in. When we came back the room we were given was not the same type that we had booked. We did get moved to the correct room in the end.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Affordable (hint: book on their web site using your phone), the room and hotel overall was comfortable, modern, and clean. It's a half block from the dragons gate and lots of restaurants and stores. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was roomy with a large vanity. The TV has Chromecast and apps. There is a refrigerator in the room. There are chocolates on your pillow and a fantastic filtered water machine in the hallway of the floor. Kureg coffee machine in your room. Rooftop balcony with a view.
Cons: Nothing!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: We were moved from Orchard garden to another Orchard hotel on the same street due to overbooking.
