Very clean, well appointed modern rooms, with 100% Cotten sheets and down comforters. His and her bathrobes. Standard continental breakfast, with bonus Starbucks coffee. Evening has coffee/tea with cookies and complimentary glass of wine. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel and we definitely will stay again.
I booked this hotel as it was a good price, had great reviews and was convenient enough for a conference at the Moscone Center without paying ridiculous downtown prices. I wasn't disappointed. The staff were all really nice, the room was comfortable, very eclectic design, modern bathrooms, but some very opulent furniture. About a 15 min walk to the BART, 10 min to Caltrain, about 5 min walk to the downtown San Bruno area that has quite a few restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay there again and make time to try the spa! I didn't think the breakfast buffet was anything special. but since it was included in the price, can't complain.
I liked the quietness, the calmness, the beauty of the room, the internet service, the choice for breakfast, the helpfulness of the staff, the neighbourhood behind the hotel and the design of the interior and exterior and outfront garden. I did not like the service from the airport. I ended up getting my own cab to the hotel after waiting for about 1 hour outside at the airport. Part of it was my fault as, for a while, I was standing higher up on the island so I understand why there was difficulty. When I, finally, did stand in the correct place, however, no cab came by to find me. I am not sure how this can be changed, as, for me, for my first time at your place, I didn't, initially, understand where your shuttle service did its pick up. So, it seems to end up - that I was looking for an unknown and, the cabby is looking for an unknown. On the way back, I waited 35 minutes for a pick up, after making arrangements early. So, it isn't so great!
Large, nice and clean rooms. Good breakfast buffet included. The free shuttle service was not very efficient and the staff was not very helpful in finding a solution.

Very handy for SFO (free car, takes ~10 min), so perfect for our early flight. Great friendly service. Good free wifi, and we got a free upgrade to a nice spacious suite. Very comfortable bed and good linen and toiletries. Good Mexican restaurant (Don Pico's) just a few minutes' walk down the road. Reasonable breakfast, and nice free cookies. Located on the main road, with no decent views of anything much.
Beautiful room, clean. Only the temp was uncomfortable. The temperature control did not seem to work; the room was too hot and the thermostat was turned down to 59. It felt like 80 degrees.
The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was very polite. They upgrated us to a Junior Suite at the same price we have booked for a standard room (we have not asked for). The best hotel near SFO.

Most hotels including other Hilton owned hotels offer a free breakfast. This one does not. So, even though we liked this hotel very much otherwise, we will probably go back to the Embassy. It was surprising that they didn't, though since most all do including other Hilton's! I hope that changes as I am a new Hilton Honors Club Member as well. I was told I had to be a "Gold" member to get this. The only problem, being handicapped, I don't travel enough to ever reach that level, but do go every year to SF and NY with my family. A comp'd breakfast would be great.

Clean room. Great coffee in room. Staff very friendly Cold pool, too much chlorine in jacuzzi, the room doors make a lot of noise when opened and closed.
Front desk staff were very helpful and attentive with booking taxis, looking into tours, explaining the BART system, accommodating room needs, etc. Bistro was understaffed. Lines for breakfast were long and very slow moving. One morning the one worker who had to ring up food, make it and serve it - was so overwhelmed that she forgot to give me my food. I ran out of time to wait for it and when I tried to cancel my order she gave me a hard time about it. Kids wanted to swim in pool but the water was ice cold and not possible for them to swim in it. This was a huge disappointment.

The room was clean and big with fridge, microwave and kit for coffee and tea. The price was ok and the shuttle bus was on time (for other customers: shuttle bus arrives at the hotel at .00 and .30 every hour; you must book it at the Reception). Near the hotel there is nothing interesting (if you want go to San Francisco without the car, you have to go to San Bruno bart Station -15 minutes from the hotel by foot).
This hotel is convenient to the rental car center. I had a flight leaving during morning rush hour so was glad i only had a few blocks to drive.
The facility was spotless. Could hear the television in the room next-door.
Clean comfortable room. Many restaurants nearby. But the best thing for us was the 5 minute easy drive to return the rental car and then get on a plane at SFO Airport. Had a water leak in bathroom in the First room they put me in. However, the front desk staff came very quickly to assess and moved us immediately to another room. Very impressed with their friendly, quick response.

Staff was really friendly and helpfull. It was only a little bit of a walk to the BART so it was easy to get into the City. Breakfast was included and was tasty. For the money there was really nothing I could say that was negative!

The room was clean, the bed was amazing, location was walking distance to all things downtown, I felt safe with my young son, easy express checkout. No room service, for the money we spent I would've liked to see a free breakfast, the cost of parking is insane (it is SF though), no pool.

Hotel was clean We booked a room for two night with a king size bed upon arrival we were not told they didn't have a room for us instead sent us to a room with double beds wouldn't accommodate us claiming they had "no more rooms available "... next day had issues relocating our luggage to next room. Parking was absurd $70 dollars a night ?? Overrated
They tried to steal my luggage when I first came in, took them over 4 hours to bring my stuff up. I said enough of this bs and went to go down myself and get all my stuff to find it hiding in a room away from everyone else while the guy at the front was telling me "it'll be there shortly were a little backed up". Then to top it all off I find $35 of charges from the hotel of stuff I never used. I've never been so disrespected by a hotel in my life. Shady workers I highly recommend you don't stay here.
We enjoyed the Marriott Marquis hotel very much , but the valet only parking is a bit spends. Thank goodness there is another parking garage one block over. Y
Really nice lobby, rooms where clean The wifi wasn't free, they charged you to use a computer for $.40 per minute. I really needed a workstation. No hot tube or pool for $400 per night. Will not go back.

Location Air temperature is controlled by the front desk. You will need to call them to adjust (really, are we in the 1970s???)-unbelievable). The air condition smelled like mildew and gave me a headache the following day. My roommate kept coughing the whole night which we suspect was due to the mildew coming out of the A/C vent. Bathroom floor was not cleaned. Found gross hair (and other too gross to mention) on the floor. Corners underneath the sink have dust balls. the bathroom toilet plastic seat was burned that it looked like you poured acid on it. I cannot believe they have not replaced it. The electric plug in the bathroom is not secured and about to fall off, the hair dryer would not turn on because of the faulty plug. (Again, really????) So disappointing as when I think of Hilton, I think safe, clean and decent...not the SF union square. Front desk was very unfriendly. No welcome or "enjoy your stay" greeting. He couldn't find our reservation. When I showed him the confirmation number, he gave me the look and said "oh that's hotel.com's"...whatever that meant. As if he was treating us 3rd class as we had not booked it directly with them. After a few minutes, he finally found our reservation. Again, very unpleasant.
The room was clean and modern and quiet The A.C. Barely worked the room was at 75 when we walked in and barely goth to 69 by 3am. The bathroom doors didn't close all the way and the lock didn't work, no vent fan.
Clean, decent amenities. Staff was friendly Arrived early before check in. Said I would get a text when room was ready. 3 hrs later I walk up to desk and my room had been ready for over 2 hrs. When I asked about my text they just said "sorry about that". I kinda thought it was a weak response. Then I get a text asking for feedback so far and I relay the check in issue and the horrible pillows we had and again I just get "sorry" with out any offer to make it better.
I loved the coffee shop/store on the lobby level. Being able to purchase cold drinks and snacks, and even fresh sandwiches or pizza was a great surprise. The coffee was excellent in the morning. I landed, completely sleep deprived, at what my body thought was 1am. Maybe that's why I had such an adverse reaction to a very lively bar whose sounds echoed through the entire lobby. In fact, it seemed to take up the entire lobby as it spilled into seating that i had to walk through to get to registration. I could hardly hear the staff member trying to check me in.

The hotel was clean and upgraded. The A/C in my room was broken and it took about 3 hours for someone to come in and fix it. The room was stuffy and hot. We left to go get a bite to eat and returned to find out that they had not fixed it nor were we getting another room. Just off of the staff interaction I most likely would not return.

Five minutes upon entering our room , there was another couple who entered. Apparently , the front desk assigned the same room and key card to different guests. After 15 minutes a guard came , checked the situation and assured me that everything was taken cared off. We went out to have dinner but when we came back we couldn't enter our room . I checked with the front desk and said the key card was de activated. We were never informed of such
The bed was comfortable, the cleaning girl was very nice and helpful. The hotel was much overpriced to begin with and as we checked in, we were encouraged to upgrade for an extra $70 per night for something that didn't seem like an upgrade. The room itself was not luxurious by any means. We felt that it could get away with anything because it was right downtown. The long lines for both check in and the "continental breakfast" were not convenient.
My room was quite dirty, the toilet seat had something nasty in it, the table had years of dust,crumbs and scum under it. Our sheets had holes in them. Overall was very nice, most people were obviously there on business so I felt out of place not In a suit .
The rooms are very small, the water pressure in the shower was extremely low it took me 30 minutes to take a normal shower when usually it takes me 10 minutes. It is very unusual to when the room dose not have a lock on the door I find that out after walking in to the restroom and embarrassing myself in front of my coworker room has two beds that means there is more than one person sleeping in your room that one person doesn't have to be a family member this case you was my coworker

The bathroom was nice with shower and tub. The indoor pool and Hot Tub were great for relaxing after visiting the sites. There was $25 per room charge for use of the pool/hot tub but this was small price to pay for this feature. Aggressive panhandlers all over the city.
The room was quite nice. The staff was very curteous and helpful. The location is convienent. The price was reasonable. The pool was only available as part of the health club which annoyed me.
They charge you extra for the health club, which is not that great - I found that to be offensive!

The room was smaller than what I'm used to, but very comfortable. The bed was plush, with high-quality bedding. Good shower and toiletries, fast elevators, comfortable lobby The walls are quite thin, and because the toilets are vacuum toilets, they are louder than average toilets, and you can hear everyone flushing. The bathroom door is also a stylish (but not noise-blocking) glass barn door, so if you are sharing the room with someone, they will hear everything that is happening in the bathroom. There is a $25 fee to use the gym and pool, which I was not aware of when I booked the room.
Grand, historic, luxurious I could hear everything from my room. Housekeeping, doors slamming, neighbors... I also think free wifi at hotels should be standard at this point - as it is at most hotels.

Hotel employees treat you like royalty. Beautiful details all over the hotel. Classic history all over! Every president over the past 120 years has stayed at the hotel! First Fairmont Hotel in the world, sets the standard for all Fairmont hotels! VERY expensive parking. The hotel contracts with a parking service and valet is the only option. Prepare to spend over $70 a night to park at the hotel, but this is the only option unless you want to walk miles and miles.
I originally was trying to book this hotel via the QANTAS website however they had problems, so I rang the hotel direct and they were most helpful. Not only did they book me in, but they beat the original price and converted it for me to $AUD for my small brain. I drove to SFO from LAX - on arrival bell hop service was excellent, didn't miss any bags or jackets that were in my car. Stayed in the main building - Fairmont Queen room Clean and tidy Free WiFi BathTub Excellent staff Late checkout Food selection and room service Tonga room is a must see Location very central to anywhere you'd like to be in SFO The main building although grand, is a little dated. The refurbished rooms are good, but the particular room I was in the door didn't fully open because the wall gets in the way, so for room service the trolley couldn't be wheeled in, food had to be carried in from the door, and there wasn't really any table to put the food on, only the writing desk or the fold out mini bar. I had to call for slippers

Location Parking at $65 a nite is outrageous There were no blankets in the room so I asked for some they came an hour later. I had to call 3 times to get service. Wifi was $14 a day not free. Coffee in the room was poor. U would think they could provide quality coffee. Paper was delivered to some rooms but not ours
Very luxurious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the management. When things went wrong, they were accommodating to benefit me for the inconveniences. Upon checking in, they didn't have our room available until the next day. Not sure how that even happens, but after talking to the manager, he miraculously was able to get our room. I had an allergic reaction to the laundry detergent they use on the bed sheets and my eyes swelled up. I was told that if you have allergies, you need to call in advance to make sure they wash the bedding with hyper-allergenic detergent (they normally use Dawn). For the inconveniences, they did comp me my room service.
Room was large & I only had a queen. Bed, pillows & sheets all very good. Hotel is dated but some would call that charming. My robe had stains on it.

Loved the location and hotel's history. When I checked in, room they assigned me to wasn't serviced. Called the front desk multiple times and had to wait 30 plus minutes before waiving down a manger to help me. Then proceeded to wait another 29 min to find a room that was cleaned.
Left a sweater called back immediately got security said nothing turned in, called back twice no luck. Guess it got up and walked away. Not buying it. Tough luck right
This hotel locate in the central of union square which is really convenient,close to the cable car stop;friendly staff. it's the worst Westin I have ever stay,inside of hotel is too old and I can hear everything that women who stay next door she said.$700 per night,i would choose hotel that is near Bound that area next time.
The location is a big draw and it is a known entity in San Francisco. It met expectations. We stayed in the Tower. The room was big and the furnishings adequate, but not what I expected from a hotel of this caliber. Somewhat dated. Also, hallways are dark and below what one would expect from a hotel like this. I could've paid $100 more and stayed at the Fairmont, and it would've been worth it!
Proximity to Union Square Rooms / noise. You can hear your neighbors' every word, toilets, etc. The doors slam shut SO very hard, that they will jar you from the heaviest sleep. Lots of late night parties on the 11th floor.
The hotel has lost its luster...beds were uncomfortable....toilet leaked....no water in rooms....grubby panhandler approached us while we sat at lobby coffee bar....not surprising since every time we went out the front door the doormen were either talking or texting n cell phones off to the side...I gave stayed there on and off for over 20 years...it's a shame but I will likely stay elsewhere going forward

Check In was great. Very nice staff. Rewarded us for returning for a third time in two years by giving us (2) complimentary drink coupons. Valet was $58/night + Tax. Took over 30 mins to get car out of lot when checking out. Mini bar in room was half empty and had empty bottles, a milkshake cup and food wrappers inside.
The rooms were clean and the safety measures that were in place allowed you to always feel safe Parking costs $62 a day. I know it is expensive in the city, but what a racket!
My room's window faced a brick wall and got absolutely no sunlight. I felt like we were in a dungeon. I couldn't tell what time of day it was, kind of like that feeling you get when you are in a Vegas Casino. We didn't get in until after midnight when we arrived, so I was more interested in getting some sleep than complaining. But I was really disappointed.

The location (and that's it) The hotel was under major construction which we were not aware of in the slightest prior to booking the room. The room lacked more than a single mirror and there was no door on the closet (this wasn't a huge issue, but in a way it served as the icing on the cake for what was a pretty horrible hotel experience). I'm a Club Carlson member, and after that experience I am in no hurry to book a room at another affiliated hotel.
Nice location. Having to pay 50 dollars for one night of parking. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, no fridge or microwave. Sleep number bed wasn't working. For $250 a night I definitely expected more.

Loved the modern, nautical decor and fun seating areas and games! All in all an incredible experience! Our overall experience was wonderful. There were a couple of minor details that could use checking. The shower drain was slow and the bathroom sink counter was beginning to show signs of rust. Might check into a sealer as we know it's only 4 months old and could tell that the staff was making an effort to keep everything really nice.
Nice Clean and modern Could hear guests above us all night walking around. But the biggest downer was that while they advertise poking is available they don't tell you it's $49 a day
Stay here for the location. Right across the street from Pier 39, and walking distance to Ghiradelli Square, shops, and reataurants. $50 + taxes to park per night. The fire pits were not working during our stay, and they were not apologetic for that. That was one of the main reasons why we decided to stay at this hotel.

Great location! Clean and modern room. Mattress was comfortable and the view was great! The elevators were very efficient too. The "hot" breakfast bar that was included was just pastries, fruit, heat n' serve cups of oatmeal, yogart, coffee and juice. When they said "hot" I think of eggs, breakfast meats and toast or pancakes. They should not reference their breakfast bar as a "hot" breakfast bar. The staff gave us the wrong directions a few times, just save your breath and time and just google it!
The staff was so nice and the location was perfect. Next to Bart station, cable cars, light rail, and restaurants. Breakfast was expensive but good.

Good location, Comfortable bed, Nice bathrooms. Easy to walk to local "tourist spots" I booked a 2 double bed room for my friend and i. And paid in full up front. non refundable. What i got was 1 king size bed. (Resulting in an awkward situation for my friend and i) I guess they arent sure how to hold a reservation? (After booking i was sent an email stating this could happen) but i still dont understand how i can request what i need, and pay in full. And be given something completly different... There is no parking at all. You can either park on the street and baby a meter, or you can pay valet 60$ a night plus 40% tax. (I was not made aware of this until the i was sitting in the valet) Just be prepared to pay alot more than what you agreed to before you show up. (Maybe this isnt a big deal for most, but i didnt feel like it was a good way to conduct business, and treat your guests)

Very nice rooms The club in the hotel across the street is open until 3:00 The noise from the club and street noise makes it impossible to sleep. We got to the hotel at 11:30. Room was not ready but the man at the desk said he would text is when it would be ready. Never happened. We got on our room at 3:30. Charge for wifi
The front desk was very friendly and showed us places to eat in the area. They gave us a comp breakfast and free mimosa's because it was our anniversary. Very happy with the whole experience!

Convenient to BART's Powell Street station and to the cable cars at Powell & Market. Breakfast option was expensive so I found alternatives in the general area.
Friendly staff, quick check in, great valet ($55/night + tips) , comfy beds and pillows, 50" LG tv. Microwaves and refrigerators are an additional cost . But is recommended if you are traveling and are bringing left overs back for a couple days . The views aren't too great and it's a little more noisy outside unless you pay more for a higher floor .

Location Valet and bell hops were friendly and helpful. First check attempt was not successful due to a power outage that only affected the computers. Employee was also rude and really should find a job that does not involve working with people. Attempted to order food to go in the restaurant, after waiting for 25mns while the waiter was watching a football game we gave up and left. Rooms were dated and dingy. Would not recommend as a platinum passport member.
Location. Under much needed renovation. Would have been nice to know at time of booking. Air filter so plugged air wouldn't flow. Toilet wouldn't stop running. Blood on comforter. No coffee maker in room. Not at all what you'd expect from a Hyatt. Staff was great when we told them about issues.

Room layout, beds, a lot of outlets, very clean HUGE construction project in the middle atrium, hence noise and no restaurant. Bathroom amenities very, very limited - need to ask for basic things like Q-tips and other (yes, they are available - a nice list in the room) but having only soap and shampoo in the room is not sufficient
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and polite. We were staying for one night before having to be at the UCSF children's hospital the next day and we all slept like babies. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was very soft overall we had a great stay.

Rooms had beautiful view overlooking the hotel Lobby. Size of the rooms are nice. Waited for shuttle over 45 min.. a shuttle from a different Hotel was nice enough to drive us .at 2 am needed maintenance ac was not working .. bathroom was not clean toilet seats for dirty from the last person there.

Great location in financial district, overlooking the bay, a walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf, but be aware that many restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel are closed on Sunday. Bathrooms are small and outdated. Overnight parking is $34.00.
The location couldn't be more convenient, just steps away from the Embarcadero BART station, and very close to everything off of Market and the Embarcadero. The hotel itself is large and strangely appointed in some ways in the lobby (huge sculptures, dated music, pods of work or social spaces set out in the midst of an overwhelming visual scale reminiscent of Soviet architecture). That said, the staff was so welcoming and pleasant, and the rooms are clean, new, and quite comfortable. I did not try room service, but everything I experienced was worth the very affordable rate. I'll be back.

Downtown you're close to everything and the hotel view was amazing. You're still downtown, so you walk out and it's a lot of homeless and the streets smell of urine, bad. The hotel staff is in no hurry for anything. Toom service took 1.5-2 hours and we even had a package delivered and they never bothered to bring it up. After three hours we told them forget it we'll get it ourselves. Cleaning staff is super nice. They were doing construction there so don't bother trying to nap during the day, because they were jack hammering the lobby. For the money I think there's better.
Excellent location with great facilities in this hotel. It's really easy to travel to other famous sightseeings and restaurants in this area are really good. A little bit noise whether stay in high floor or in low floor, and the bathroom is too small for a 4 star hotel.
The lobby area inside us very beautiful, yet it's not that unique anymore compare to some of the newer hotels. Location is very good, right access from ferry building and many good restaurants. Room needs renovation. Restroom is small, couldn't find light switch when we get in the room. Booked king bed room and was given a double bed room, staff told us nothing they could do. They did give us some credit but only end up buying some water, because there is none in the room.

Really cool amenities,close to everything you need.Room service was nice and really cool views. I didn't like that after driving two hours up to SF,having reserved my room almost a week in advance they informed me my room was not ready,then couldn't give me an answer as to why or how long it would take to clean.Luckily friends who were getting married in the city had their room so we stayed there and waited almost an hour and a half until they called me to tell me it was finally ready then didn't offer much to try and make the situation better
Nice to stay in a piece of history. Very convenient location for MUNI/BART. Rooms appointments very nice, beds great. Main lobby atrium is stunning. Well-trained, personable staff. Coffee/wifi in room would be nice, but that's unfortunately the nature of the beast (Hol Inn Express does that, not most upscale). I went with two hyperactive twin boys, and though not an ideal hotel for kids in most ways, the staff was very patient and accommodating with them. I'd say I wish it were a better value, but really next to what else what available in the area it was a better bang for the buck than most.

Through Expedia I got a great deal to stay at the Westin for 3 nights and it was great! I stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend and even though it was a holiday the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nice shower, awesome beds and it's close to the bay so you can just walk outside for a beautiful veiw and walk. Also has a free shuttle and is a short walk to the BART station!

The staff was very helpful and the conference rooms and facilities were very nice and what you would expect from the Westin. Room was clean. Good location First thing I was thoroughly disappointed in was the pillows. After traveling I was tired so I immediately fluffed up the pillows to lay down for a short nap. But the pillow cases sounded and felt like paper!!! And 3'outnofnthen4 pillows were so lumpy and flat, not one firm pillow and that combined with uncomfortable pillow cases I woke up with a neck ache. Bed was uncomfortable . And the sound level in our room was so LOUD that we were woken several times by people walking by talking and each room to either left or right we heardbeverybtime the toilet flushed and every conversation or slammed door. Very disappointed in my stay this time. Better soundproofing the rooms..it felt like paper thin walls!
Nicest hotel staff I've encountered in a very long time. They were incredibly accommodating to myself, my husband, and my 2 year old daughter. We had an overnight stay for a connecting flight and the hotel is extremely close to the airport with a very quick and frequent airport shuttle bus. We happened to be stuck there with a delayed flight on my daughters 2 year birthday and when the staff found out they gave us an extended check out and treated the birthday girl to pasta and a birthday brownie. It was a really pleasant surprise for a tired and traveling family. Thank you Westin!!!
We liked the overall vibe and style. We didn't like the inconsistent customer service and the room vibrated from the restaurant's exhaust fan. (We moved to another room.)
Parking is $25 Come on. Also, Westin withheld $100. from my card for "incidentals" wi/o notification. The cheesy glasses in the room were carefully encased in cheap plastic wrap with the prepared label "SPG Members" affixed to the bottom of each glass, alerting the non-SPG Members that they would be charged for unwrapping the household plastic wrap from the glass if they dared to venture to drink from actual glass rather than from the plastic UNlabeled "glass" next to the special SPG one. The tub drained poorly. This hotel is full of itself and not much else in terms of service and ambiance.

Airport Shuttle, Our room as next to the elevators and could hear them going up and down. We should have requested a new room but we arrived late and had to leave very early the next day to catch our flight.

Hotel provided shuttles every 15 minutes to the airport. They dropped you off at your gate. Very nice.
We liked having a free shuttle to the airport as well as the indoor pool. It was great for our one year old to swim and get some energy out before a cross country flight. Staff were very accommodating and provided us with a crib for the room. The hotel restaurant was very expensive, but this is not surprising for San Francisco.
The hotel was clean & pretty well maintained. The staff were not helpful or friendly. The pool was freezing. The wifi was $10 and parking was very expensive. I was hoping for a nice quick pleasant overnight stay. It was quick but not so pleasant.
I loved the view and staff was extremely friendly and the location great. Bed was very comfortable and and room was nice and clean. Mabye a lil upgrade on the appliances other than that it was great. I think for the resort fee it should have came with a little more amenities.
The room they put us in was very small. There was no refrigerator, no microwave, nothing that would make the stay comfortable or say luxury. Plus the parking cost and facilities fees are ridiculously high.
Location was nice for exploring the city. Room was clean/comfortable. NO INTERNET at this hotel... In the modern age, it's ridiculous that wifi/high speed internet is not included in the cost of the hotel when you purchase ahead of time. On top of that, I asked about wifi when I was checking in, and the lady told me we could get internet with an OPTIONAL ~$35 PER night fee, that included internet and other services like bike rentals. We didn't want to spend this, so it made sense that I couldn't connect to any wifi from my hotel room. When I checked out, they said they had charged us for the fee, and that it was required, despite the fact that we'd never connected to the internet. Outrageous that this wasn't just in the price of the hotel from the getgo... Don't bother with this place until they get with the modern age.

View was great, staff was very friendly, and room was very clean. $58 for over night parking is outrageous, because of that I will not stay here again. Also, $20 for wifi? For the price you're paying that should definitely be included. We had to ask twice for a crib to be sent up to the room, that was a little disappointing when I had two small children to get to bed upon arrival. Also would have been nice to have a mini fridge included in the room. When traveling with kids it's very convenient to have a fridge to store their milk, snacks, etc

location - Pressured toliet caused loud, frequent rattling sounding like a fire alarm in the middle of the night. I told management and they don't/couldn't fix it . - $38 per night "resort fee" for no real services. A true rip off.
This hotel is simply amazing. Feels just like home. My room had a kitchen and living room, plus a separate bedroom. Hot breakfast is included and they provide a shuttle to nearby areas. BART Is walking distance or you can even use the shuttle. I will definitely be going back here again!

While the yellow carpet in the halls is a bit dated and worn, the rest of the Stanford court is updated, quirky, and fun. The staff is great, and the location is only half a block from the top of nob hill. Great weekend escape.
The location is wonderful, the bed was good No one answered the valet parking phone three days in a row. No room service. A beer glass sat in the hallway for two days without being picked up. Kitschy "hipster" feel.

Jeffery was a great bartender showing professionalism with an intoxicated female needing assistance at the bar Urban tax fee is a shady charge that was not explained at check in, The fee is for bike rental and internet, yet the Wi fi was listed as free and you would be insane to ride a bike down the hills. I had to argue to get it removed.
Friendly staff, great location (walking distance to most attractions), comfy beds and updated overall. Needed spa after some gruelling walks (need to be fit to get around) or simply jump on cable cars outside hotel ;). Although We found city pricy, hotel food offerings were excessive to say the least (no room service either?)Management has to know within walking distance are some great options for meals that are easier on your wallet.
I liked the lady at check in helping resolve an issue with billing. Somehow, the hotel reservations people decided I should pay for an extra night when I had cancelled that night the previous week. The lady at check in was very helpful and was able to resolve the issue, but I was disappointed I had the issue in the first place. It was not clear to me why this happened. The room was nice - but quite expensive in my opinion.

The room was great and the bedding was fantastic. The staff was great, very helpful. Location was ideal. Since we were there during the renovation, there were no shops, etc. They had shampooed the carpet in the halls the day we arrived and there remained a wet rug smell throughout our stay.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVERYONE IN THE LOBBY WAS VERY HELPFUL AND KIND. HOTEL WAS CLEAN, AND PROVIDES A FRESH SMELL AS YOU WALK IN. I LOVED THE WATER BOTTLES TO GET PURIFIED WATER AS YOU WALK IN OR LEAVE.
Location Mandatory "urban bundle fee" of $20+ per night, even if you don't use or want the services. Housekeeping was bad -- there was a half full highball glass in the hallway outside our room for our entire stay. When we arrived on a December evening the room temperature was set to 54 degrees with cold air blasting in. Overall not a friendly or welcoming environment, unfortunately.

Stanford Court hotel was in a terrific location. Cable car intersection right out the front door was super cool. The lobby and bar were upscale and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a boutique hotel in San fransisco. The room size was a little small for the money, and you could hear everything from the hallway and surrounding rooms.
We stayed here for a couple of customer visits in South San Francisco and Palo Alto. Clean and everything you need for five days. Well located close to the airport and great value for money.

Fast check in, very friendly staff, clean room, quiet, ample parking. Beds weren't very comfortable, they sagged in the middle. Bathroom needed some minor maintenance, rusty door hinges, cracked tiles, and the bottom of the tub was stained.

We stayed at the executive level and the amenities included with that were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby is pretty run down and dated. The carpet in the lobby is very worn and dirty. The room itself was extremely clean and modern.
Quick check in and out, courteous staff, and the price was right. However, hotel shuttle took almost 30 minutes to make the full trip between the Hilton and the international terminal. The bedding had some small stains and bathroom was not entirely clean.

We needed a place to stay near SFO that provided free airport shuttle. I found this hotel on Kayak, and while it was more than I had planned to spend for one night, it was worth it! The bed was so very comfortable - I didn't want to get out of it in the morning! The room was exquisitely appointed and the staff was very accommodating despite there being a very boisterous party off the lobby - which spilled into the lobby at times. The front desk staff handled a group of small children who were taking items from the Market Place behind the desk extremely well! Thank you so much! More than I wanted to spend for a hotel room.

The hotel feels like it has all of the upgraded tech and decor a geeky guy like myself want out of a hotel. It was clean, close to the airport, and didn't have any noise coming from any highways or streets. We arrived late in the evening after a long flight to find our room wasn't ready. (at 12:30am) The front office manager said the floors had been cleaned that day, so it might feel a bit damn in the halls. Feeling tried we said Okay, and got our room key and went right to our room. The first thing we see is carpet fans scattered all over the room with every moveable piece of furniture stacked on our beds. It took another 45min to get our room switched for one that didn't have any fans, and we were questioned like we made the entire thing up. Only issue we had was the miscommunication from the office manager regarding the overnight parking. I was told it would only be $14 and I would have to use the parking machine in the garage. Well, the machine charges $20 for overnight, and I had actually already been charged $14 for parking on my room bill. So i paid for parking twice...We had to leave for the airport or I would have fought it.
Good location. Rooms are clean and well kept. My friends left 4-5 messages for me but when I checked, I was told there were no messages left for me. So I didn't get to meet up with my friends. Pretty bad.

The fire alarm went off at 5:00am and we had to walk down many flights of stairs. When we got to the lobby we were told it was a false alarm. After returning to the room to get some sleep before an international flight, the alarm kept going off every 15 minutes or so for the next 3 hours. This made for a stressful start to our vacation.
I loved the location to the airport, amazing views, modern vibe and look. Friendly staff! Big tvs!! Dinner was expensive in the hotel. For what it was I should have eaten at McDonald's. $100 mistake.
The hotel is very good, it has clean facilities and friendly staff. I recommend the hotel for anyone that needs to stay around the SF airport area. I did not like the nightly parking fee. It should be included in the room price.

The staff was friendly. Concierge restaurant recommendations on the money. The location was excellent. Rained the entire weekend-but no matter the hotels had huge umbrellas for their quests. Lighting could have been better when you entered the room (outside bathroom.) Prefer bathroom sink outside of bath/shower area. Allows two people to get ready at same time.
Big positives: cleanliness and size of room, very cheery staff, newer hotel. Somewhat kitschy decor that was also endearing . Cool rough hewn wood beams in room. As a former San Franciscan touristy Fisherman's Wharf wouldn't be my first choice but appreciated quietness of area. Far cleaner, quiet than Union Square or SOMA. Better value than Union Square, much nicer than motels on Lombard. Heard some guests making noise in hall in middle of night.

The staff was very friendly. From the maids to the doorman to the concierge everyone was concerned with trying to help us have the best time possible while we stayed there. Loved using the free loaner bikes to get around the wharf.
The room has a very hip vibe that is a hit with my kids ages 12-17. They love it! The hotel is just a block away from the cable car when we came back from a night at the downtown area. No hassle when we went around SF downtown and back. It is also within the activities from the pier. It is far enough from the main noise but near enough for a few minutes walk. Very accessible to all the great restaurants and activities around the area. None
