kerp up
Location was great, so easy to get to all the attractions around San Diego.
Be aware of the DAILY concierge charge... When I check in it seemed part of your hotel booking charge but it is an additional fee. Really frustrating and sneaky of the hotel.
Communication with room service and reservations.... I wanted to extend my trip and I was on hold for over 25 mins and finally hung up and just went to the lobby to extend my stay.
Excellent Location
Great Hotel situated very close to the Waterfront and downtown San Diego. Easy to get to. I walked away from the cruise port which was only four blocks away.
Breakfast options were very expensive inside inside the hotel. But there are many local nearby coffee shops for breakfast.
Many Parties Happening Friday Night
I love the location, I love the amenities. I have stayed at the same hotel many times, and it is one of the most central, elegant, comfortable and easy to get to hotels in the city.
I don't like the fact that Emerald Towers also hosts rented party spots and that drunks leave the building all hours of the night screaming and yelling. Not conducive to a good night's sleep
The bed was so comfortable!
I asked about getting a package delivered and they said it would be no problem and I could pick it up at the bell desk. When I went to pick it up I was suprised to be charged for the "service."
The hotel, like the neighborhood, has gone downhill . . .
Good location, nice staff, rooms are clean, bed is VERY comfortable.
The hotel feels tired. Decor, common areas feel like they haven't been touched in decades. The neighborhood is even worse, though. You literally have to walk around homeless people to get to business meetings. After sundown, there's no one on foot except homeless people. The hotel attracts a lot of airline crews. Not sure what to make of that.
Not all staff was friendly, room wasn't thoroughly cleaned one day and Cafe and restaurants only open till 1pm. Also some staff gave poor directions as to how to get to places.
Very nice hotel with reasonable views, much cheape
Good value for you money. Very clean. Good facilities.
Bed too soft, it is like it is just made entirely of pillow. I had some maintenance issues in my room, which they fixed, but they wanted me to move instead.
location & nice & clean
this Hotel is on nice area, walk distance to Midway museum & seaport Village, very convenience & we will definitely come back again for vacation!
Loved the staff. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and nice and her alone would make me want to come back and enjoy the Westin again!
Overall a great stay
Great location, clean hotel, GREAT bed. Best sleep I've had in a while.
Bathroom was nothing to write home about and parking is a bit expensive
the location was in walking distance to our daughters house. perfect!
skipped a room cleaning and no wireless internet also 32 dollars a day just to park. to expensive. key word is to park the car!!!!
very nice room, neat design. good downtown location, can walk to train and trolly.
Except for the dirty room (they moved us to another) the stay was comfortable, but the Westin next to the mall in town is better - cleaner and easier in and out access than this one.
The bathtub of the first room they put us in was filthy. We had to ask for a new room.
Location and value.
Cost of valet parking
Very nice hotel, clean, modern and got a great rate
I enjoyed the modern rooms with the lcd tvs and great bed linens. The pool and jacuzzi area was very nice.
The staff left a bit to be desired.
