The service/staff was amazing. Everyone was a pleasure to talk to and was extremely helpful. The rooms were comfortable. The only issue I had was that there was so much upselling in the room. Plus, the fridge was so full from the wet bar that to actually put anything in it that belonged to us was a challenge. That's literally the only issue we had though.
Pros. The location the room very clean and quiet. We will be using this hotel again.
Cons. Nothing.
Pros. The location
Cons. Staff at reception. Layout of the lobby. Room layout. No mirror. small room.
Pros. The location of the hotel is good for getting around
Cons. The walls are thin enough that we could hear our neighbours having sex, and hear exactly what they said to each other... The food was abismal, it was so bad that after one bite of our room service we got rid of it. We expected to be asked about the food, but unfortunately the staff didn’t seem to notice two full meals being essentially untouched.
Pros. very friendly, helpful staff. Great Union Square location
Cons. Valet parking and hotel entrance around the back of the building. Both the party we were meeting and us pulled up front to what looked like the front of the hotel, was nothing to indicate where to go. Some signage would be helpful. Great workout area but having to pay an additional $25 to use felt excessive.
Pros. Beautiful location
Cons. Expensive valet parking...cheaper across the street but this wasn’t explained until check out and had to drive several blocks to get into the hotel valley due to one way streets spat that point we wouldn’t have wanted go through that again to get to the other garage.
Pros. Staff themselves professional and very helpful. Great location.
Cons. Huge line check in. Few staff, so took forever. Extra fee for fitness center. Housekeeping never came first day.
Pros. I usually prefer to stay at the Nikko for it’s excellent health club, particularly the pool- hard to find in San Francisco. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are excellent too. I also like the Japanese food.
Cons. The neighborhood is not my favorite but it’s very convenient
