Too expensive for this price, rooms are extremely small, bed is very oldDon't stay there for that price
Right in the middle next to union square.
Couldn't figure how to get window open lower heatVery nice and accommodating
Breakfast area was unique
The walls were paper thin so I could hear everyone come and go all night. The room was tiny. The walls were paper thin so I could hear everyone come and go all night. The room was tiny. The mattress was saggy. There was no bolt on the door and I actually did not feel safe in my room. It reminded me of the movie office space where I could hear every single word the neighbors were having and they weren't even talking loudly. Parking was $18 and on a different street. The concierge didn't seem to know what he was doing. I have told people that this was my worst hotel experience ever. It's not that it was horribly dirty or anything but as a business traveller I can not believe this is listed at 3.5 stars. I would say it is a 2 star at the most.
Friendly staff, good location
Very very small room, dirty towels and bedding, and shabby old noisy elevator. I really do not want to call it a hotel.I gave 3 out of 10 overall for this so called '3-star' hotel. 2 points for the location, and 1 for the friendly staff. You get what you pay for.
The fridge to store food and drinks
The bathrooms were clean but the floor was still a little dirtyOverall, a good place to stay near union square, ruby skye and et cetera, but the room runs a little small and it has the old smell to it.
I liked the location and that it offered breakfast
I did not like that there was only a few channels on the tv and no air conditioningThis hotel is not a 3 star hotel. It's more of a 1 or 2 star hotel. It was 2pm and housekeeping still has not shown up. Bedding was very, very shabby. Tv stations were very, very disappointing. Too many homeless people around.
Location was perfect for me.
Room overlooked a very, very noisy parking lot until about 3 am. Also, the room rate was $30 more than what Priceline quoted me.
The character. We love the older hotels. For a refurbished, older hotel, this was excellent. The room was small, but very nice. There was an elevator, but the flights of stairs were easily walkable. We loved the location.
great location, near enough to the cable line, etc. Continental breakfast was good with some good choices for us.
Had no A/C, but there was a ceiling fan and window opened, but had no screen and the window is right next to the fire escape, so there was no security in keeping the window opened for ventilation, even on the 3rd floor.See above. The room was listed as petite and it was, but that was not a real detractor for us. Lobby had a wobbly railing inside the entry, but it was being fixed as we were leaving. Staff were fine. Price was good for San Fran.
