10.0 Excellent
Pros: The tents are absolutely stunning, the gardens are magical and the hanging lights at night make you feel at paradise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and unique property. Staff is kind and friendly - gave great tips on local beaches. Love the outdoor showers and being able to hear the outside on the inside of our “tent”.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s probably one of the nicest glamming places I have gone to. The garden around each tent is lovely and the shower and bathroom area have a great size.
Cons: It’s a little far from playa grande
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Common kitchen, Open air showers, the Pool everything was great and fits perfectly
Cons: No airconditioner but that is fine with the fans
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay, really helpful staff but the place Itself is fun. Great to have showers in the garden and the balcony area. We loved it! They even had bikes to help us get into town
Cons: Nothing! But you do need a car if you want to eat out for dinner, they do provide bikes but you can’t use them in the dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The weekend was amazing, you must stay here for a couple days to reset the feelings and release your best part with such a nice little place.
Cons: This place should deserve a five star award in the Glamping community around the world without a dude I say!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting of an exotic garden, spacious tent-rooms with own outdoor bathrooms, the most comfortable beds & mattresses in whole Costa Rica. Manager was very pleasant. Whole place was spotless clean. Short drive from a beautiful beach. Great place to stay.
Cons: It is a bit further from the beach, but we knew that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely property which makes a perfect use of the conditions in this sunny and dry area. You’re still not far from the best beaches and activities without being in the middle of the crowd. It provides a calm environment perfect to meet people from various location while you’re hanging on the side of the pool or just having a delicious home made breakfast. Thanks to Sophie and Nicolas you feel more home than in an “hotel”.
Cons: As usual, people may find something which doesn’t fit for them but for us (a family of 4) I can’t find anything.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was beautiful. The tent, shower, pool and breakfast were outstanding. Highly reccomend.
Cons: The road is very under developed. Huge pot holes. Not told in advance about the road conditions. We were in a car and had to get out from the highway and walk to Flor Y Bambu. If your staying here rent an SUV!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The environment was spectacular, exceptionally clean and very welcoming. Lovely pool and the glamping tents felt luxurious. Outdoor showers were a big plus point.
Cons: Pity there was some work being carried out on site whilst we stayed here as it was a little noisy at times. Although I’m sure the work was necessary it would’ve been nice to have been informed prior to arrival. However, host was not present either for entire duration of our stay and only returned on the morning of our departure.

Pros: I had a lovely stay at Les Voiles Blaches. The property and garden are beautiful and the hosts Karyn and Michael went above and beyond to make my stay extra special from arranging tours to making me a vegan and gluten free breakfast. Highly recommended!
Cons: There really isn’t anything to dislike! I would recommend that you rent a car if you plan on venturing out. Otherwise Karyn and Michael have a taxi service that can take you into Tamarindo for $15.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Les Voiles Blanches B&B! The entire space is quiet, relaxing, and safe. The pool was clean/the perfect temperature and the hammocks strewn around the space were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful space. The room had everything we needed (great a/c and internet), comfortable king sized bed, and beautiful bathroom. The location was perfect, far enough away from trashy Tamarindo to be quiet/safe, but close enough to go to dinner and explore a wide array of beaches! Besides the amenities the hosts were fantastic! They were easy to communicate with, flexible, gave us wonderful recommendations (even set up sunset horseback riding for us) and provided a delicious breakfast! 10/10 would definitely book again and recommend staying here!!

Pros: The hotel is very well located. It is very cozy perfect for couples.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was excellent, fresh, and perfectly prepared with a great variety from day to day. Always served quickly and by a wonderful staff. Truly, exceptional all the way around. The décor, grounds, the elegance of the entire property were above and beyond my highest expectations. When a raccoon moved onto the roof of our suite on night two, Tatiana graciously upgraded us to a more decadent room with a Jacuzzi tub, gorgeous and absolutely exceptional. It's right in town and easy access to the shops, the beach and restaurants. We opted for the plan that includes breakfast and dinner, which I highly recommend. A great value, but also super convenient and absolutely delicious every time.
Cons: I can't think of a single thing! It rained a few time, but hardly the hotels doing! they had umbrellas and slip signs to assist.

Pros: The hotel is nice. The rooms and bathroom are in a decent size and are comfortable.. The poo area is very nice and dining in this area is really make you feel good!
Cons: Although we did like the breakfast , dinner was less appealing ( it is half board) for us. The way to the beach of the hotel is quite long ( it is good that they have their “own” beach)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marion, at the front desk was wonderful! After a surgery, I needed to rest and she made it possible to give me a beautiful room close to the pool, served me dinner in my room and check on me every day.

Pros: The hotel was great and Marie was lovely! We could tell that the property was well looked after and maintained. The service we received was excellent. We were able to rent our a portable cool box and boogie boards free of charge to take down to the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Cons: We were super happy with everything. Tiny downside was that the hotel next door has an outdoor restaurant and was a little noisy, but not past 10pm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kevin and the staff were fantastic. From start to end they were so welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast every morning really started the day out correctly. So good! The rooms are amazing and the whole chill, chic, vibe of the place made for a great complement to the Tamarindo experience. A little oasis from the beach and the town.
Cons: Seeming complaint at first is really a strength; little tricky to get to but the map they provide is immensely helpful. Nice that it's a street or two away from the main strip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best accommodation in our trip to Costa Rica. The place is super-cozy. The staff (a special thank to Marie) was attentive and always welcoming with great tips and recommendations for restaurants, tours and other places in Costa Ricato visit. The breakfast was super delicious, especially their homemade cookies. You get everything you need :-) We enjoyed the breakfasts on the terrace soooo much! If you pay attention to the trees you will definitely see an iguana and a squirrel. And yes, there are howler monkeys in the trees sometimes:-) Bonus points for the calm and totally lovely dogs! Go Turbo!!! The perfect retreat - so perfect that we spontaneously decided to stay a few days longer. Highly recommended :-)
Cons: Not one thing not to like!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nico was an awesome host. Directed us to great places and really made the stay in Tamarindo special. Bungalows are really cute. Great breakfast. You can walk to anything in Tamarindo from the resort. We saw monkeys right from the pool in the neighbor's tree!
Cons: The neighborhood is not quiet, and with no AC, you need to leave doors and windows open. This was known by us and they do have earplugs in the room. I personally enjoyed hearing the monkeys in the morning, but the dogs were pretty loud.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful guest house close to the main areas of Tamarindo! Pool was nice and refreshing, the rooms and common areas were stunning!
Cons: It would have been nice to have AC because nights were quite hot and the fan didn't really cut it. Also, the neighboring dogs and street noise was very loud and since all the windows needed to be open for air, you could hear everything (neighboring dog barking clearly not the fault of the owner, haha).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bungalows are very close to everything in Tamarindo and also to the beach (within 5-10min walk). It's a litlle oasis with the charm of a tree house, really beatiful. After a hot day at the beach the bungalows are the perfect place to refresh at the swimming pool under the shadow of the palm trees or for a long siesta in the hammock. We stayed 2 weeks and we felt at home right after the first day, lovely place, we will definitely come back. Totally recommended!!! A special thanks to Nico and Leti for your hospitality, we really appreciated your warm welcome and you being there all the time. Pura vida!
Cons: nothing. it was all pura vida!

Cons: That we had to leave.

Pros: Jannette was kind and friendly when we arrived. She explained everything about the hotel to us. The location is a bit of a walk towards the centre (5 minutes or so), but it is also very quiet and peaceful at night. The pool makes for a very relaxing evening. The breakfast Janette made for us was delicious. Thank you for making our stay in Tamarindo special!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Charming B&B located walking distance from the town and beach. I loved the authentic feel of the wooden bungalows. Waking up to the sound of native wildlife was magnificent. Nicola was also very nice and helpful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the private beach that you could walk and walk and just see the natural unspoiled beauty of the coast. The buffet at the Mansitta restaurant was so delicious. The staff were all extremely friendly and spoke excellent English. It was a restful and rejuvenating part of our trip. The view from the ocean view room was incredible.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is at least 1.25 hours from the airport and is about .5 hours from Tamarindo, so it is fairly isolated. There's no music/DJ at the pool and no real entertainment. The hotel does have daily activities, which is nice. The water is rough, so there aren't any water sports/activities. The property grounds and pool are well kept. However, the buildings and some of the rooms are in need of cleaning and overall maintenance. Despite such, the ocean front views are beautiful and the 1.5 suite was gorgeous. The staff is absolutely amazing, professional, and polite, especially the room service staff (shout out to Juan Diego- who was awesome). Overall I'd give the property 4 stars. However, if I return to the area, I will try an all inclusive. With all of the taxes and fees, I never paid less than $50 for a meal/snack for myself and my son (i.e. $10 for an order for french fries, $4.50 or $5.00 for a coke, +13% tax, +10% gratuity). Stop at duty free and buy liquor. Alcoholic beverages are reasonably priced, but you get one short poured shot measured in a jigger with a lot of ice and juice.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views on the coast, the facility was wonderful and had great service. Rooms were large enough for four of us to share for a week.
Cons: The resort is far from just about everything else. It's a 15 minute ride to the nearest town and $7 per person each way for a shuttle. All the adventures are at least a 2 hour bus ride, or more.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, bed comfortable and the view towards the pool and ocean was amazing. All hotel staff were very attentive and courteous. Starting upon arrival with the bellhop (Rodney), reservation desk, concierge desk (Karol who helped us with the restaurant reservations and printing boarding passes), restaurants staff members (Kimberly, Karen, Kerling, Meriz, Edward, Gerald, Roy Campos and Esteban Campos) of the various resturants (Sabanero Steakhouse, Tamarine, Azul Pool Grill and Mansita) and housekeeping (Leidy who kept our room immaculate and surprised us every day with a different animal made of towels).
Cons: Unfortunately, it is very isolated but it is great if you are looking for peace and quiet. The hour and ten minutes from the airport is a bit tiresome ride and most of the tour destinations are also a few hours away. Other than the location, it's a beautiful and first class hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room with the balcony
Cons: The aircon was noisy
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved how friendly and helpful the staff was. We also loved the privacy of the rooms and the beauty of the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food, the staff, the bar, the decorations was fantastic. The view from the room spectacular.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Your place is far from everything and you over charge for travel
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were amazing. View of sunsets are perfect.
Cons: Terrible overpriced food. Staff seemed cranky.

Pros: Everything from the staff to the services and the locations. Their attention to details was amazing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful!
Cons: The only thing was the housekeeping was less than thorough
9.0 Excellent
Cons: Continuous sound coming from the pool area all night long, clicking sound of the vent which made it impossible to turn it on during night time; therefore a minus in comfort
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Food is great, do not need to go elsewhere You have yoga classes, fitness classes Complimentary sunset cocktail
Cons: Tea not organic, could be organic
7.0 Good
Pros: The service was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly.
Cons: The bed, pillows, and sheets were horrible. It was hard to sleep some nights. The bed was very hard, the pillows were way too big and the only bedding were 2 very thin sheets (no comforter/quilt). Also, the beach at the hotel is very rocky and you can’t swim there. It is about a 15 minute walk down the beach to get to an area that you can swim in.

Pros: Friendly staff, great location for surfing and food was wonderful. Rooms clean and very well air conditioned
Cons: No beach chairs and towels available
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owners, great swimming pool, AC, good restaurant.
Cons: Room could be a bit higher (my head was close to hit the fan) and beds could have been a bit better. But nice surf hotel!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and relaxing hotel that is about 25 min outside of Tamarindo. Personally that is where I spent most of my time but I still had a nice relaxing stay here. If you are planning to experience most of your time in Tamarindo you could stay in Tamarindo but it might be too loud as there is a lot going on. If you plan to stay here at this property I would suggest getting a rental car. Overall good hotel.

Pros: Great little cozy inn

Pros: Grounds were beautiful, staff was friendly and the restaurant was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better spot in Playa Grande!

4.2 Okay
Pros: On arrival the check In process seemed very disoriented... the room wasn’t particularly clean the bath tub looked like I needed a good scrub. The hair dryer was broken. On the evening the have hotel entertainment but it very noisy and we could here it from our hotel room... I stayed at two other beautiful hotels in Costa Rica that we cheaper and just generally more beautiful and enjoyable. The all inclusive was what you would expect buffet food and cheap alcohol.. the only good thing was one friendly staff member at dinner but as someone who travels a lot I wouldn’t recommend this hotel

Cons: Long line up for lunch on weekend

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property has a nice pool, and a common bbq area. Clean room with air conditioning and bathroom. The owner Giuseppe was really kind and gave us some good tips about the city!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and relaxing place to rest after having a day of fun in the sun. Good filling breakfast and nice pool.
Cons: Lacking a bath mat and hand soap in the bathroom. Would have preferred real fruit juice at breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful oasis of calm, yet within easy access of the bustle of Tamarindo or the Nature spotting opportunities of Playa Grande, and some pretty beaches offering spectacular sunsets. The hotel itself is down a dirt track off the main highway, so a car is essential.... but once inside the exotic plantings and 6 pretty bungalows are little complex of paradise which can accommodate around 20 adults with spare beds for families. Ana & Giuseppe are delightful hosts, always smiling and a ensuring a great breakfast is provided daily and use of the cabina kitchen & BBQ by the pool allowed. Very happy with our 10 days spent here ! thanks too to Ghandi who keeps the pool spotlessly clean. Would recommend!
Cons: Not much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ana is a very welcoming and kind host. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. He property also had gorgeous gardens and a lovely pool. We left our camera when we moved onto our next location and Ana kindly looked after it until we could return to pick it up. Really enjoyed our stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked our room, spacious and comfortable with an external private bathroom. We had outside seating next to the pool and a view of the garden. Close to Tamarindo and other fine beach resorts but in a quiet location. Breakfast was typically Costa Rican. Ana is a lovely welcoming host.
Cons: Leaving.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms look cool , once your inside the property, it looks nice on the inside. Ana the owner is the best, her customer service skills are amazing, she’s also bilingual. Her family helps run the ranch , so everyone pitches in with providing a comfortable stay.
Cons: Bugs come inside your room in the evenings , even if you keep your door closed. Sometimes they end up in your bed and there’s nothing you can do during the night. We got bit a couple times unfortunately. The first night the water shut off in the area, so we couldn’t use our sink or shower. Luckily we had water bottles to help out. Finally, the location is not too far from the beach Tamarindo , it’s a 15 min drive (excluding traffic) , but the road to get to Boutique hotel Ana is a dirt, bumpy road and your GPS is will tell you, you’ve arrived too early , but you still have to drive down the road to find her location.
6.3 Good
Pros: modern, good bed
Cons: breakfast was very marginal, hygiene: we had many troubles with ants. finally solved it ourselves. pool was full with leaves upon arrival.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This beautiful Hotel from Marianna was the best while our stay in Costa Rica. The rooms are stunning- very modern, big and perfect designed. Very comfortable. The Garden is sweet and the pool very good for refreshing. A wonderfull little paradise. And Marianna made our stay to something really special. She was so friendly and welcoming and she has an eye for details. Breakfast was super! Thank you so much for this amazing experience!!! We come back!
Cons: -
7.5 Good
Pros: Wonderful friendly owner, Lovely decoration, Pool, Very good breakfast
Cons: Arrival was pretty bad, since staff only spoke Spanish and didn’t have our reservation at first, since my surname was only on a hand-written note and misspelled. This was a bit weird when taking into account the high ratings also advertised at the small reception In retrospective to other accommodations during our whole holiday of three weeks too pricey for what you get

Pros: Wonderful hotel rooms, lovely people, fresh good breakfast, great pool, the perfect destination to just relax
Cons: It was a little bit far from the beach and the city
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stephanie & family were so helpful and friendly; even accommodated us when we arrived too early! She gave us a great recommendation for a non-touristy beach to visit and also a good reataurant to go to on our way to our next destination, complete with the chance to see gorgeous parrots (missed the Toucan that day but apparently it’s often on view as well). The rooms were lovely, the pool and landscaping were beautiful, and the ambiance was relaxed and welcoming. Would definitely return if we’re ever in the area again!
Cons: Can’t think of anything! Only perhaps wish we could have stayed for longer!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Property was well maintained - beautiful grounds, loved the pool, most comfortable bed we have slept in since we have been here (have been in Costa Rica for 3 months) Super quiet at night. Owners are very friendly and breakfast was made while we waited - not a mass produced hotel type thing. Case Mapache is outside the busyness of Tamarindo (which is exactly what we wanted.) Owners suggested a fantastic dinner place just down the road - Punta Tranquilo - excellent as well. We loved this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The locstion is at a very quiet place but still accesiblr for many places.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love this place and I would recommend it with a pleasure. The owners are very helpful and warm people and they make you feel at home. Aircondition, kitchen part are very good. I liked the garthen, monkey outside, bird....a paradise.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: very good rooms, service and pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was amazing, right next to it was a restaurant called dragonfly, OMG, food there was aaaamazing, same like a breakfast in the hotel! Ladies which working there, explained us everything about tours they have and also one of the ladies suggested us a really nice beach, with name was playa penca! Not that far with a car, but it looks really beautiful and very quiet! I 100% recommend that hotel! First time in Costa Rica and gladly we made a good choice
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing! We were robbed inside the room while sleeping. Insecure, absurd attitude of the staff!! Ridiculous!
Cons: ABSURD!!!  SOMEONE ENTERED OUR ROOM WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING AND STOLE OUR THINGS!!! THE SAME HAPPENED IN 3 OTHER ROOMS! They stole iPhones, Apple watch, drone, camera, iPad, jewels, money, etc. I was After that we have searched and found out that the same kind of robbery happened 3 months ago in the hotel and they did noting to improve the security! The place is not safe. The manager and staff were totally evasive, denying to collaborate and did not make a police report themselves, as if it was not their problem. They did not reimburse any of the losses (saying our belongings should be in the safe even while we were inside the room sleeping) and, more shocking, charged us for the night we were robbed! It was very clear to us their goal was to get away with their responsibility, while it should have been to try to solve the case and assist the guests.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, new and stylish hotel, great pool, nice breakfast café, good location in Tamarindo, central but still quiet, I would sta here again anytime.
Cons: The AC in my room was so loud that it was impossible to run it at night. There's still a fan so it was ok.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: No coffee maker in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was an amazing stay there. Staff is really friendly and helpful. It was so clean and a great swimming pool in the middle of the area. The room was modern and well equiped. I really would recommend it.
Cons: Price was a bit high. But we realized soon that it was not only the hotel, but the whole area - its a tourist area and therefore prices are higher. So in the end, it was ok, also considering that the quality was really good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location one street away from Tamarindo center and situated next to three good restaurants. Safe and quiet neighbourhood. Room with balcony was nice and had AC and fan as well as a mini-fridge. Never went into the pool but it looked exquisite especially in the evenings. The hotel doesn’t have a proper reception, instead a representative is there daily between 7:30 and 18. In our case she was very nice and gave us an excellent introduction to the area, tips for things to do and booked us on a great scuba day with transport from the hotel. All in all a great stay!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff where amazing they where so helpful with everything including great recommendations. The whole place is exceptionally clean which makes the stay very relaxing. Its in a convenient location only a short walk to the beach and most things in Tamarindo. Defiantly recommend this property.

Pros: This place was great, prefect location, chilled, comfortable, clean, great staff, and value for money during our stay was outstanding. Wish I'd stayed longer. Just perfect.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean, location excellent.
Cons: The lady working the front had a can't-be-bothered attitude that was off-putting. I ended up paying more than $150/night and probably could have stayed closer to the beach for that price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds of the hotel were beautiful gardens. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was delicious.
Cons: Nada! Everything was great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved my bungalow. Especially the bathroom. Staff and Richard very helpful. Would stay again

Cons: ,cvjyfly.f/;.u;/nb?oliyu'oy'/iygh.y.f
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Arco Iris had a great feel to it. The pool is very nice. Richard is a super cool guy and is extremely friendly. We had to leave at 4:00 am to catch our flight and Richard gave us some fruit, muffins, and juice. He offered that up without us even asking. We were very happy with the location. You are just far enough from the noise of the main street, but still able to walk to everything. The beach is maybe a 5 minute walk. There is a walking path from the hotel to a road with tons of great restaurants. If you feel like staying in for a nice meal, they lease their dining space to one of the best restaurants in Tamarindo, Seasons by Shlomy. We traveled to 4 different cities in Costa Rica and this hotel was our favorite by far.
Cons: The air conditioner in our room was kind of weak. It worked a little better at night. We weren't around much during the day so it didn't bother us much.

Pros: Roomy villa and well equipped! Private pool was awesome and a short walk to the beach or into town for dining and shopping . Very private (which we like)! Staff was super friendly and helpful—Eric is the best “guide”—he arranged an incredible adventure day of zip lining, horseback riding and hot springs with mud bath for us which we will always remember!
Cons: I just wish that we could have had access to the hammocks and beach chairs but we were told they are exclusive to Cala Luna guests. Seems like they could work out an arrangement? Despite that, we absolutely loved our time in Costa Rica!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Size of villa
Cons: Too far to walk to main area of Tamarindo and transport expensive
7.5 Good
Pros: Space
Cons: Only one TV No kettle No iron or ironing board Shower temperature temperamental Chair in each room needed
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious villa, private pool and parking. The site was quiet and private between villas. The town with shops and restaurants was about 1 km so very close. You can also rent golf carts for the day which is great for families with infants.
Cons: Access to the beach (there was an access close to the property but there was rocks there and it wasn’t swimmable) was a little far but within walk distance. The villa needs newer and additional pots and pans for cooking.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location , staff, comfort off the villa, the vibe
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the private pool and glad to have washer and dryer and full size refrigerator and loved seeing and hearing the monkeys in the trees right out the front door
Cons: The place did not have a hair dryer and we could have used more towels for 5 people and did want coffee in the morning they had a coffee maker but had no filters or coffee
