The staff, in particular Mauro Maschio, were quite helpful. Everyone was terribly nice and the pool was outstanding. I could have stayed in it from sunup to sundown. Breakfast was a bit lacking and the doors to the rooms woke everyone up as soon as they began slamming. I have no idea who designed the doors, but a pneumatic feature would be of great help. The hotel was a teeny bit removed from the center of town and the sea, but if you're willing to, you can walk it to and fro in a leisurely half hour. Booking.com erroneously stated that there was bicycle rental. Actually in all 3 hotels on this holiday they made that error. Not the hotel's fault however.
Helpful tips to visit the region They tried to charge us 10€ per day for pool and parking facilities, when Booking voucher clearly mention that all services are included!
Very clean, very nice and helpful people. Green spaces and swimming pool excellent. Rooms are comfortable. Too far from the beach. Convention with very crowded beach where there is also live animation.
Rooms cleaned very well, bed made and clean towels everyday. Nice beach across the road. We asked for a balcony, however not all rooms have one. Did not like the breakfast, same old, same old everyday. Restaurant food expensive. Did not see a spa. I know we were in italy but hardly anybody spoke any english, and menus all in italian with no english translation. Not a 4* in our opinion.
Beach Was not clean. Old furnishing. Impolite staff. Beach facilities not included in price. Overall not worth the money and not up to the 4 stars.
friendly staff, nice property, good food The room did not have a window and this was not mentioned in the information on the rooms.
Immaculate rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful location. Poor value for money, especially meals. The food was ok but not as good as local restaurants which also offer better value for money. We didn't feel this was really an 'authentic' masseria experience in comparison to others we have stayed at, lots of staff, not a low-key affair at all. Too much emphasis on style and not enough on substance. We also found it rather pretentious. Oh, and you need to wear a swimming cap for the pool. It's not a bad place to stay, it just depends on what you're looking for.
