Phenomenal service. Gastronomical meal. First rate facility. I highly recommend this peaceful oasis Absolutely nothing
The Facilities, and restaurant L'Angle are fantastic, great to have mon st benet and alicia beside, rooms were great, and staff helpful Poor choice of menu in restaurant mon, not much available
The hotel and the peaceful setting were outstanding. The food at the restaurant was some of the best that we had on our trip to Spain.
Exellent restaurant and room. The area around the pool pleasant, well taken care of and delightfully undisturbed. The staff professional and very, very kind!!
Situation and room Quality of service poor. Food abysmal
The food was very nice - the staff extremely nice - the room was nice too - and quite comfortable. It was like a barracks - no privacy on the balcony - did not like all the dark passages - the pool area was not at all nice - the village was uninteresting
This is a 4 to 5 star hotel with a 2 to three star service. Try to get the rooms on the lower floor because the terraces are big. It is a very nice hotel, quiet and with a spectacular view over the monastery which is a must see. Great breakfast too. Perfect location to relax. The staff was not very helpful in most cases but nice nonetheless.
quality on every level no
nice surrounding, excellent facility, delicious food the address provided by booking.com is not be able to find by gps
I found the hotel very good for a relaxing break. The staff and food were very good. The room itself was lovely and spacious especially the balcony . The toilet was dirty when we arrived (somebody had used it before us, things stuck to toilet bowl) and the floor had not been hoovered properly. Also when we arrived at the pool there weren't any towels and my husband had to walk to reception 3 times to convince them that there weren't any towels(36 degree heat) , they kept telling him that they were there , towels were then brought by reception staff.
In the center of the monastery of Montserrat, facing the cathedral, but it is a normal hotel.Staying at the hotel allows you to enjoy Montserrat also when it is quiet and peaceful- before and after the swarms of tourists.Breakfast O.K. You may drive to the entrance of the hotel to unload or load your baggage, but then you have to find a parking space in the parking lot, which is not so close. Saying that - there is a "train" to take you back from the parking and to it. Parking costs extra.
The room was quite big. 1. We booked in advance the room with one king-size bed (not 2 beds). Inspite of it we received the 2 beds. 2. You have to use the outside parking about 1km (not the problem but still...)
Clossness to trails and to the church Having a tree block view from window and construction noise that went into night
In the evening, after the tourists left on the last tram down the mountain, the peace was amazing. It is an experience you cannot get on a day trip. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer, since we were catching a cruise ship the next day. The room was neat, clean, and comfortable. After flying from San Diego, peace of the mountain and a beautiful mass refreshed our spirits. We look forward to staying there again, but next time we will stay 2 or 3 days so we can explore the mountain.
Pleasant hotel at the Abbey Square up on the mountain Montserrat. Excellent view, Restaurant with Bib Gourmand i.e. good food for a reasonable price. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. We visited off-season and for everybody who wants to combine a bit of contemplation in the beautiful abbey where a boys choir sings every night after verspers with enjoying nature (well marked routes) it is a brilliant place to get away too. After visting Barcelona for three days, two nights at the mountain appeared a perfect short vacation.
We just loved this hotel. The rooms were clean and had the most comfortable mattresses. Very clean bathroom and some toiletries. The breakfast was adequate, wish they had had some more fruit options. We visited the Monastery and took the funicular up to the top of the mountain, with spectacular views. The location could not be better, right next to the Monastery, and we got to stay in the "old" rooms. The rooms do not have A/C and it was quite hot in September. We left the window wide open and were able to sleep just fine. It was noisy very early in the morning, a lift truck kept going back and forth.
