Pros. Location & that they take dogs.
Cons. Fitted sheets. Sheets without holes. The keys never worked. The rug was awful. The drawers were dirty. The doors were not sturdy & they had been broken & “fixed”. The blinds were badly placed do the sunlight woke you up way too early in the morning.
Pros. Watched a couple funny movies. Getting back my deposit for the room without problems. I made sure to pay cash so I'm not stuck waiting 3 week's for a refund.
Cons. Non refundable reservation. Even if you call a week ahead to cancel.
Pros. Breakfast..Friendly staff. Good cleaning staff.
Cons. Stained carpets. Wires hanging from wall where they had removed T V from second bedroom. Need a paint job.
Pros. I booked the wrong date, immediately cancelled and they refused to help me until reluctantly sending an email to booking .com 10 days later, much too late. So I got ripped off for a night’s stay that I never used.
Cons. Surly front desk staff. Incredibly unhelpful. When I did stay there another time previously they told me over the phone that early checkin was fine. When I showed up they said that the room was not ready and early checkin was $40 extra and the room was not ready. After a heated argument the phantom fee for being there 30 minutes early was waived and the room was miraculously ready.
Pros. The location was good enough. I liked the indoor pool option, although we never made it in.
Cons. I requested an early check-in, and was denied, even though it was only one hour early. When I returned I had to stand in line and do the whole check in process again. The room was noisy, I could hear conversations from the parking lot downstairs. On check out, I asked for my receipt to be emailed to me. That never happened. There's too many choices in Santa Cruz to return to this hotel .
Pros. Walking distance breakfast,location
Cons. Sat day 7 /1/2017 was scheduled/ reserved for a double bed king siute!! Said i only had a single bed kingsuite !! Told me to take it up with Kayak!!! Only could have 2 & a half people in the room the manager was mean , rasisit, told a potential asian women employee that only the Mexicans cleans well and are good workers said friends and family could not eat or visir in room and after some argument with a friend he alowed for 2hrs to eat and leave.
Pros. The refrigerator and stove and sink were nice.
Cons. Horrible staff, horrible parking lot. Thin walls and doors. Weirdo tweakers staying there.
Cons. Less than friendly staff. Old, non kept up rooms. Peeling paint etc.
Pros. The only two things I personally liked about this hotel was its closeness to the beach and boardwalk area and that it was fairly comfortable and quiet
Cons. What made this an overall negative experience was the fact that I spent 160.00$ for a night in a hotel that was worth 70.00$ tops
Cons. Never again.
