Pros:
Despite the language barrier they tried to communicate with us. When we ran into an issue we were able to reach customer service at night and they were able to send someone out to look at the car within 15 minutes. Once the mechanic determined that the car was unsafe to drive customer service was able to procure us a new car the next morning.Cons:
The issue with the car was that the brake pads had completely worn out to the point that the car was unsafe to drive. We should've never been rented a car where the brakes were worn out to that extent. That's a safety issue as we could've potentially fallen off a mountain since we were driving through mountainous roads in the Andes mountains. Instead of apologizing for the issue and offering us say an upgrade for a car or doing anything to apologize all they did was offer the exact same make and model (Chevy Spark) the next morning. On top of all that when we returned the car we were over the mileage limit. After some discussion they only knocked $30 off the total mileage overage charge. Given how poorly their cars are maintained I won't recommend using them despite their low cost unless you do a full inspection on their cars since if they're willing to rent you a car without inspecting something as important as brakes then you never know what else might go wrong with the car.keddy by Europcar
