Pros: The place was lovely, two minute drive to venue and the breakfast was excellent.
Pros: Tfrendly, helpfull and very comfortable
Pros: Beautiful, clean, comfortable
Cons: Nothing wrong
Pros: In general, great attention to detail, and such caring hosts. The breakfasts were generous, varied, and cooked to perfection, the very best of the Canadian cuisine. The whole house was spotless, and our hosts were so flexible in adjusting to our every whim!
Pros: Very nice place. Friendly owners. Breakfast was very filling.
Pros: lovely place. very warm and caring hosts.
Cons: loved it all
Pros: All the details were wonderful. So friendly and helpful
Pros: The property was located in a quiet residential area but easily accessible. Island Lake Conservation Area was a few minutes walk or drive away. Our hosts Eileen and Sam were welcoming and hospitable- nothing was too much trouble. The whole house was immaculate and Molly’s Suite was spacious and comfortable. Eileen’s cooking was outstanding and her breakfast something to die for. We have no hesitation in recommending this proposal which is probably one of the best B&Bs that we have ever stayed in.
Pros: Hosts were very welcoming and friendly.
Cons: Everything was excellent
Pros: The home was beautiful and spacious with so many lovely amenities.
Located in Mulmur, Foxingham Farm Bed and Breakfast is in the mountains, a 5-minute drive from Mansfield Ski Club and 11 minutes from Dufferin County Museum & Archives. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The place for those who want to relax and enjoy the nature! An amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle of Toronto and it's just 1,5h drive from Downtown. The hosts are so friendly and really provide a high quality service. Btw, the dog Mansfield is adorable:)
Cons: Not suitable for toddlers, the stair is too steep. The road is in front of the house, low traffic but still keep an eye on your kids if they are outside. Any sightseeing or entertainment nearby requires driving, no walking distance.
Pros: Hanging out in the kitchen was like being entertained by old acquaintances.
Pros: Martin was a wonderful host who spoiled us with a delicious breakfast and pointed us in the direction of many local sights we would have never found without him! He has been all over the world and has many interesting stories to share. His little dog Mansfield was very friendly and provided much entertainment. Our room was very cosy and quiet, we slept like babies (despite our stomachs being overful from a delicious dinner at Mrs. Mitchell’s Restaurant, yum!). The tales by Beatrix Potter on the bookshelf took us back to our childhoods. We would very much recommend this BnB, it was one of the best ones we stayed in during all our travels!
Pros: He was so nice and i really love his breakfast. When we arrived at the first, he gave us hot tea. The room was very clean and design was great.
Cons: It was a little bit cold
Pros: Great host. Have been going to Foxingham for 3 years. Highly recommend this B & B.
Pros: Martin & Shalani were very friendly and chatty. The breakfast was very tasty and filling. Mansfield (dog) was so cute and friendly.
Pros: Very friendly and knowledgeable, helpful with any questions we had, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, took excellent care of us.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Pros: Host is amazing, personable, accommodating and very interesting.
Pros: The couple hosting us were extra hospitable and accommodating. This BnB is very beautiful, inside and out. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! We were more than pleased with our stay!
Pros: the breakfast was really good . The owners are really nice people and helpful

Pros: Beautiful home, Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, friendly owner/hostess, 15 min from Hockley Valley Resort.
Pros: Rosemary is amazing, the property is top notch
Cons: We had to sleep with the windows open to let cooler air to get in and the blinds required the windows to be closed to be able to function properly. This reduced the privacy and it was too bright in the morning
Pros: Excellent attention to furnishings
Cons: Had to leave.
Pros: The home and property were very beautiful and the bedroom/bathroom were nicely decorated and clean. The host offered some snacks from her fridge when we were hungry, and invited us for a glass of wine after dinner.
Cons: The breakfast was strange. There wasn't enough food for the whole table - we had to go out for breakfast after. The host talked way too much, not giving the other guests a chance to get to know each other, she interrupted other people and told long stories that people were not interested in. It was very awkward!
Pros: Rosemarie is the most lovely host I have ever met. While some may find the location a bit remote, I loved being in the quiet country. It is close to urban centres but far enough that it is quiet and “away” from the business of every day life. One thing to keep in mind is you MUST like dogs. Thor, Ben snd Star were the best canines ever and they certainly add to the appeal. This, for me, was part of the charm. I will be back soon.
Cons: There is nothing I would change
Pros: Lovely gourmet breakfast with personalized touches.
Cons: Must be comfortable with big dogs greeting you.
Pros: The Owner is fabulous, I felt like I was at home.....if I lived in a beautiful house on 25 acres of land . I will definitely return !
Pros: Quiet and beautiful grounds. Great dogs and Rosemarie is a gracious and super friendly host.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like...
Pros: Beautiful location , excellent rooms and foremost Rosemarie and Megan were absolutely lovely, helpful and a font of information . I would definitely go back.
Pros: Beautiful home out in the country with lovely acreage for exploring the countryside. Very friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Large communal room with TV and bar.
Cons: Owners dogs have the run of the house and property, not a great situation if you bring a pet and they don’t get along. We were going to stay longer but this situation caused us to cut short our visit.

Pros: Very nice friendly owner,
Cons: No tv or radio in the room
Pros: Good location for the festival
Pros: My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and comfortable and was in the perfect location for us. We all really liked Cyd and she was very friendly and very kind. I would definitely stay there again!
Pros: Friendly Hostess
Cons: Difficult to locate
Pros: The owner was very friendly and welcoming. She made me feel like I was at home.
Pros: A warm and comfortable home, with a friendly and helpful owner, whose company we enjoyed. Good breakfast - nothing fancy, but more than adequate
Cons: Our bed mattress was a bit soft for one of us with a bad back
Pros: Cyd, the host was friendly and easy to be around. She was accommodating and open to suggestions given that the B&B experience is relatively new to her. I quite enjoyed getting to know her and I would definitely stay again.
Cons: The bed was very comfortable, but the room was sparsely furnished. There was one table, but no other place to put things... another table or dresser would have been nice to have.
Pros: We thourouly enjoyed our short stay and meeting our hostess. We would definitely recommend anyone travelling through Orangeville ( or going to attend a wedding like we were there for) to book in at A Comfortable Place
Pros: Cyd was an excellent host. Went out of her way to accomodate my late arrival. Look forward to another visit.

Pros: Room set up was very comfortable; liked the kitchenette area and fireplace
Cons: Shower was limited in storage with a small Dial dish as the only place for soap, shampoo, razor. An extra shelf or shower caddy would have been perfect
Pros: Bed harder then what I'm used too but all in all a great place

Pros: The bed was comfy
Cons: Furniture stained Plaster off the walls Smelled of smoke No ice Slim pickings

Cons: Very worn and poorly kept. The coffee maker didn't work and there was minimal hot water in the evening (it was ok in the morning).
Cons: Coffee was bad
Pros: It was the usual for that type of motel. Beds were good.
Cons: The toilet needed adjustment. Wouldnt flush unless the back top was removed. Very icy conditions in parking lot. Sand and salt should have been liberally applied.
Cons: The fight with a customer Over a pet. The police should have been Called. The electrical safety authority should be called to inspect the Property and have the electrical upgraded.
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Pros: The motel is rundown and not clean.
Cons: Clean the rooms
Pros: It was centrally located and a wide variety of stores and shops available within a reasonable distance
Pros: No breakfast but a good location for me.
Cons: No coffee pot. Room very basic.
Cons: Could do with some upgrading
With a stay at Orangeville Motel in Mono, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Lake Huron and 8 minutes from Hockley Valley Resort. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: No water in the shower. Staff could not figure out why. On move out the deposit was not returned as the accountant was still sleeping.
Pros: Location is OK. Room had lots of space. Easily accessible (except when road construction is in progress).
Cons: The stairs to the upper floor were a bit uneven.
Pros: Friendly service.
Cons: Beds were hard as rocks, walkways were not salted on the second floor and very slippery.
Pros: uncomplicated, quieter than expected, great location close to town centre, enough parking space, looks a little run down from the outside, but owner renovated and room was very clean.
Cons: the pillows were too high and too hard, I ended up with a stiff neck in the morning
Pros: Comfortable beds Table and chairs Well cleaned New toilet and sink Warm / heating works 11am check out time Great location Helpful staff. Fixed t.v. box
Cons: Strange smell from floor vents. Vents probably need cleaning. Sink outside bathroom. No net curtains so can't open curtains Coffee maker on top of microwave seemed hazardous Latch on inside can be unlocked from outside. Not sure if that is normal Unexpected $100 security deposit. Don't get that at proper 5 star hotels Room already had faulty tv box. Are these things not checked? It was fixed after calling reception
Pros: This facility should be condemned and not be allowed to be open as a motel. “ it was disgusting!!!!!!!!!”
Cons: Everything! All the columns outside were damaged and a poor attempt at trying to fix them. There was cots outside peoples rooms. The property was filthy Sign on the roof was held down with a large assortment of cinder blocks thrown about. Window in area to go to office was covered with a large piece of chip board Junk everywhere. STAY AWAY!
Pros: It was very quiet which was good for sleeping, and the wifi signal is super fast. Very close to the mall.
Cons: I had hair all over my bathtub, it was not cleaned prior to my check in. No bathtub plug, bathtub was all around dirty, When I awoke, I had patterned bites on my forehead, I think it might have been bed bugs. Also room was dark, lighting wasn't the greatest
Pros: Was very clean. Even though we came in late at night the owner was very pleasant.
Cons: Bed was not as comfortable as I remember the last time we visited.
Pros: Location was wonderful. The woman who checked us in and out was very friendly.
Cons: Room was very tiny, dingy and did not seem clean. Air conditioner was not functioning well and it was extremely hot and stuffy. The hotel said they had someone in the office 24/7. I had left the phone number with my son - and he called late at night due to family emergency and the man in the office refused to put him through - saying we were "sleeping" We were not. Thankfully I remembered my phone was in my vehicle and when I got it I called my son to check on things - this is when he told me he had been calling and the desk refused to put him through. I will never stay again.
Pros: Not included.
Cons: Only had one complimentary coffee in the room. I stayed two nights and could have had a second.
Pros: Location to our event
Cons: Bed was EXTREMELY HARD, as well as PILLOWS.. Only 2 and no choice for softer Air conditioner worked well but extremely noisy It’s a motel and definitely not the Hilton. Overall, it was safe and clean. Was good for a quick night
Located in Orangeville, Knights Inn Orangeville is in a rural location, a 1-minute drive from Lake Huron and 9 minutes from Hockley Valley Resort. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The bed was big and comfy nice comforter and curtains. Was great having a fridge and Air conditioning was great for such a hot weekend.
Cons: I was expecting to be able to be parked outside our room but our room back on to a field. It was a bit of a walk for my 92yr old grandmother to get to her room. Toilet was dirty.
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean. The price was very right.
Cons: The windows were very dirty. The grout in the bathroom needs to be redone.
Pros: That the hotel was close to our event and shopping.
Cons: Hole in floor n carpet over them and musty smell and hallway carpet needed to be vacuumed
Pros: Convenient and very good wifi
Cons: The bathroom ceiling had bugs & the window was dirty.
Pros: Good location for the event I attended in Orangeville.
Cons: My room was filthy. I arrived late in the evening. I quickly checked everything and went to bed as I was tired from travelling. When I got up in the morning the tub was filthy. ( I could scrape my name in the dirty soap film in the bath tub. ) there were dirty towels in the bathroom. The toilet seat was filthy on the underside. I took pictures and asked the manager Raj to please clean my room. He kept saying he was sorry. I kept saying I wanted money off for my stay. When I came back he or his staff only cleaned what I showed him. I went to open curtains and there was thick dirt on the window sill. I never checked under bed and there was old garbage ( cup and bag/tissue from previous guest). I tried to see him on a couple of times before checkout to see if I could get a discount and no one would come to the front desk. I went back on Monday as I was staying with a family member in the area. I asked to see Raj. He wasn’t in the facility. I asked that he called as I left my number and it was on the receipt and he hasn’t. Because of no reply back to me and try to right the wrong I decided to go ahead with this review.
Cons: I did not like that i got charged more then I was suppose to
Pros: Check in was quick and efficient, check out even easier as it was just a key drop off; I did like that the room had coffee even if it wasn't very tasty; easy to find location; shower had good pressure and had no major room issues (it could be argued, even, that the hard mattress was good for my back even if it wasn't the most comfortable).
Cons: Mattress was a little hard; bathroom had weird set up with the sink being outside of it; more rooms than parking spots (though I luckily did manage a spot). Coffee in room wasn't great; the door takes a bit of effort as it catches on the floor.
Pros: location O.K.
Cons: Entrance to room, fire trap, down long narrow hall
Cons: Our room (21) smelled so terribly of cat pee I couldn’t sleep. There was mould. The beds are uncomfortable. Best Western is expensive but you’ll actually enjoy your time.
Pros: Friendly staff
Pros: There was a last minute vacancy when I needed it.
Cons: Internet didn't work consistently, one window was broken, and there was a loud lawnmower outside my ground floor room at 8:30 am.
Pros: Great price. Comfortable bed. Good place for a one night stay
Cons: The hallways and rooms need some TLC. The tiles on the bathroom floor were cracked and the carpet had pulled away from the tile exposing carpet tacks
With a stay at Shelburne Motel in Mono, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Lake Huron and 7 minutes from Shelburne Golf & Country Club. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Barbeque location
Cons: Taste of the water
