Pros: The B&B has a charming relaxing feel to it and the innkeepers are warm and welcoming. Its location to the quaint town makes strolling the streets pleasant.
Cons: My only regret was that my on-line reservation described the $--- a night room as having a gas fireplace in it. The room (#5), did not have a fireplace. So somewhere in the reservation, the ball was dropped and I was truly disappointed about this.
Cons: Arrived late for check-in and despite notifying the desk that we would be there at that time they were genuinely surprised to have us walk in at 8:30pm. To make matters worse, because we booked through a third party site via kayak, they had no record of our booking. We were told that those bookings come through their email and the manager checks the email but the manager is away. The two front desk employees both stated they were capable of checking the email but yet no one does so while the manager is away? While one of them started to search through what she said out loud was "hundreds of emails" to find the reservation, the other started checking us in. Asking if we were possibly at the wrong hotel and questioning why we were so late (we drove from 4+ hours away and sat in multiple traffic delays) before slowly entering the info into the computer. When we asked her if the restaurant was still open she said no. When we asked her if there were other places we could go to eat, even if it meant driving a bit, we would, as it was our anniversary--she responded by suggesting that we order dominos, "they have good pasta bowls." For our anniversary? I mean, I get that we were late and in a small town things will be closed, but, that seems like a last resort option. Finally, the person checking the emails finds our reservation (and the request to have chocolate covered strawberries added to our room) and says there won't be any strawberries in our room (no surprise there).
There was no attempt to rectify the situation and the fact that it took over 20 minutes to check us in because no one checks the email, or that they were notified of our late arrival and still didn't have the room request ready, or that they were aware we were patronizing their hotel for a special occasion and they only served to make the day spent in traffic even more annoying by offering a room upgrade, refund, dining certificate...or even apologizing for any of the above! They were oblivious and had I paid for a one star hotel, none of this would have mattered but at over $250/night in the middle of no where, this place functioned horrifically.
Add to that terrible food for room service breakfast and a broken jacuzzi bath and the experience was overall awful. Would not stay there again, and clearly, do not recommend it.
Pros: The food was amazing. The location was perfect. Lots to see and do in the vicinity.
Cons: The rooms were very old. The pink tub and shower are in desperate need of an update.
Cons: Coffee was weak. Coffee is crucial. Room service coffee was worse. Bringing your own coffee would be good advice, if you care about coffee.
Some finishes were run down-tub surrounds, carpets.

Cons: Cloudy pool, way too much chlorine. Strange that some rooms (including ours) were in the first fooor "basement" area.
Pros: We drove to your hotel from Williamsburg to tour Harpers Ferry and also go white water rafting. We were very pleased with our room, the adjoining restaurant, the fitness room (which I used) and the large breakfast. Also appreciated the free cookies, coffee and newspaper. Thank you for contributing to a fun weekend for me and my family.
Cons: Can't think of a thing!
Cons: Tell tale sign upon entry. Fan in foyer blowing out so leaves wouldn't fly in resultin in large blown leaf pile where guests would enter. No staff appeared to think it their job to take up and remove leaves--should have left right then dated sad hotel.
Pros: The Tavern was pretty cool. Open till 1am kitchen open till 11pm. Good food! Great People! Karaoke night! Hotel has friendly staff!
Cons: Wouldn't Change a Thing!

Cons: Breakfast not included, a expensive rate for not having the breakfast.
Pros: Quite both inside and outside. convenient to downtown area. Staff that I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Shower heads great, with one exception that it was shooting water at the wall, appeaed that the head was not fitted correctly.
Cons: Safe was way to low. Toilet way to low. I am not a senior citizen and I was not able to even see the numbers on the bottom row of the safe unless I had gotten on the floor. As for the toilet the same with the height, those low things have gone out long ago, it was suitable for a child of 5 or 6 to use without help. I do not think that is the right age to cater to unless it is a family room. Then that should be asked on making the reservation are you traveling with young children. Microwave had sticky stuff on top and side of it. Refrigerator was not plugged in when we got to the room. Carpet was dirty, especially in area of coffee maker, small sink. As well as many stains in both rooms and hallways Room had a stale odor. The maps of the downtown had been copied so many times they where difficult to read. Ice machine one the first floor was not working and no sign posted. Some of these items may seem small and petty, but these are the little things that make the difference. For the room rates improvements/updates need to be made.
Cons: The room smelled terrible. We went and bought fabreeze.
Cons: Bed was took hard and air conditioner didn't work properly
Pros: Air conditioning worked on very hot days. Hot water fine. Bed linens fine. Breakfast similar to others with 2 stars.
Cons: Office staff indifferent to fostering positive interactions. Adequate but disinterested.
Pros: The hotel is clean, the staff were really friendly, AND IT'S DOG FRIENDLY! We came out for the fireworks at Antietam National Battlefield, and this was a perfect spot to stay. Nice, clean, quiet spot with a good breakfast.
Pros: Location price and cleanliness
Cons: refrigerator needed replaced in the room I was in.
Pros: If you just need a place to sleep for a few hours this works. Don't expect anything more than a low-budget experience. And at least I didn't see any bedbugs.
Cons: The mildew smell.
Cons: Bathroom in single king bed room. I have never seen anything like it. Corner bathroom. To enter the bathroom you had to SQUEEZE between the wall and the door to get in. And we are thin people. Heavier people would not be able to get into the bathroom
Cons: They would not honor military discount because we booked online. Terrible for reputation
Pros: Location, price, efficient a/c and free breakfast.
Cons: The room smelled of mold and mildew and we had to use essential oil spray to help with this.
Pros: Clean,Breakfast had hot Waffles, Eggs ( Pre cooked But Decent) Sausage, Donuts, and a lot more, Better then average for a free Budget hotel Breakfast. Room was Quite, Bed Comfortable, Staff Friendly and Helpful. Close to Shepherd Univ. Pizza Shop Nearby
