Car rental at Sibiu Airport

The majority of the service desks for car hire at Sibiu Airport are located inside the terminal, just a short walk from Baggage Claim. Some are located a short walk outside the terminal such as Premium Rent Car and Addcar Rental. The majority of vehicles are located within the airport parking lot on-site so once your paperwork has been processed you will be given your keys and can collect your car just a short walk from the desks. If your chosen vehicle is located off-site, a shuttle transport will be provided to take you to it and to return you to the airport after drop-off.

There is a wide variety of vehicle options available at the terminal. Those looking to minimise size and fuel consumption can choose from a range of mini, compact, and economy vehicles, all well-suited to driving on busy roads. Those travelling with significant luggage or multiple passengers may wish to opt for one of the SUVs on offer, which will also be better suited to country roads. Passenger vans are available for those travelling in large groups and estate vehicles are a great option if you want to maximise space for luggage not passengers.

You will need a full driver's license and, if your license is not EU issued, you will also need an International Driving Permit. Your driver's license will need to have been valid for 12 months. You will also need your passport along with a confirmation of your booking and a credit card to make your deposit. Remember to keep these documents, along with any your provider gives you such as registration and proof of insurance, with you in your Sibiu Airport car hire whenever you are driving.

On average a rental car at Sibiu airport costs $21 per day.
