I enjoyed the happiness & sincerity from each employee working there. Hospitality was at its finest when arriving to Motel 6. The area was convenient to the city & nearby other popular businesses. It felt very family like, as I noticed, the hotel was VERY busy. I enjoyed seeing different groups of families on every floor, in every building, and in the surrounding area because it felt more safe. In addition to all of this - I love the updates & renovations done to this place. Certainly was not a Motel 6 in my eyes. I was so shocked to see how modern everything was! Enjoyed my stay. Having a full breakfast would have been lovely versus just the coffee idea. Maybe in the future?
There were places nearby to eat Not clean, did not have normal amenities like hair dryer, shampoo, coffee, ice in hall, only 3 pillows, no toilet lid, water temp varied, maids did not sweep or clean well, ugly wall color, drug use in parking lot, loud overnight noises, bad experience
Location and price Like most other hotel reviews , bath can always need repairs.
Check-in was easy. Check-out was a nightmare. I tried to check out early and they wouldn't let me/refund me and made it extremely difficult for me/hotels.com to get the refund. Hotels.com actually refunded me while trying to resolve the issue. I choose a non-smoking room, still smelt smoke in the room and it was covered with incense. Incense residue was still on the bathroom floor and the towels where disgusting. First check-in was late so I just went to sleep, next day they said they didn't have any rooms and to check tomorrow, same happened the next day and they couldn't move me to another room ($3 more per night) without making me pay for it in full. This place is ridiculous, run away from it. Horrible customer service and horrendous rooms.
There where beds Floors felt like they where mopped with grease, there where at least 4 rooms near ours that where smoking weed, the police and a drug dog where the first thing my kids saw after returning from dinner; 2doors down from our. The was also one mini bar of soap, and only two towels.
Great Location to PPG School We had no heat or no phone,Suppose to of be a no smoking room, even said that on the room door. yet their were ash trays on the table.
Nothing at all it was just convenient Everything about this hotel was wrong I will nevet stay again And i tried corporate but couldnt get in touch with no one
Didnt like anything about the hotel
The host was semi-nice when I checked in. From the exterior the hotel looked nice. As a young women, I felt VERY unsafe staying here. There was lots of places that were not well lit and the door to my room wouldn't deadbolt. At 5:20am a strange man kept knocking on my door and wouldn't leave. I would not recommend staying here for anyone who is traveling alone. There also weren't any towels, cups etc. provided so I was unable to take a shower and drink water while I was there. The beds were so stiff that I didn't sleep well. Save yourself from this experience and just pay a little extra. You will appreciate it in the end.
I'll preface by saying I am FAR from picky when it comes to resting my head. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the desk clerk was relatively nice once she found my reservation. It took her about 10 minutes to find it, though. The room was very simple but I didn't really mind that. The television was from the mid-90s and the remote didn't work. There was cigarette ash on top of the 'entertainment center' (if you can call it that). I'd like to mention it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The bathroom floor was oily feeling and there was no shower curtain. Water got all over the floor when I showered. The shower faucet dripped all night. There were two bath towels. One of them had a blood stain on it. The other was relatively clean. The worst was yet to come. I got in to bed and realized there was no comforter, just a thin sheet. I couldn't get to sleep until 5am because of a man shouting outside. This was an EXTREMELY sketchy neighborhood. I saw two women I could have sworn were prostitutes. Most of the occupants lived there. Anyway, back to the room. I woke up on three separate occasions with bugs crawling on me. The first time was a spider and the other two times were small borrowing type roaches. Overall, I saw at least 10 of these roaches. The heater worked okay, but all in all, I wish I would have paid the 15 dollars extra for a more decent place. Again, I am not picky at all when it comes to sleeping but this was a new experience for me. Never have I woken up from bugs crawling on me unless I was camping. Steer clear if you know what's good for you.
Confusion with the chain of a similar name. This is a property with 2 main sections..one remodeled, one not. I was put in the remodeled section, so that was fine. The older section has what looks to be multi night tenants, plenty of late night action
The rooms were spacious and clean. They had been newly renovated also Everything was fine
fast check in it was extremely cold and I had the heat on 90 degrees. Couldn't stay warm at all.
last minute decision....was not on the radar at all there was a power outage for about an hour and the room was HOTT as ***, and they did nothing to accommodate the guess and offered no apologies....the outage was only at the hotel...the surrounding business has power..
Room was larger than most. I did not like the bedding at all. There was no real comforter on the bed. Also the breakfast was pastries and bottles water.
Nothing The room was dirty...was very old ...this was not a 2 star hotel at all
Not much Very old
They had a room when I needed it. No plug in the tub. For those of us that still take baths this should be made available.
Price Check-in was only available out the outside window, even though it was barely dark, and already freezing. Upon arriving to my room, I realized I was on the back side, 50 yards from the Interstate, and the heat did not work at first. Eventually, it warmed up, but said to call for service. When I told them at checkout, they said I should have unplugged it to reset it. The bed was the hardest I have slept on in years, and the pillows were flat. The room had recently been renovated, but there were wood screws holding the counter top down, and the bottom molding in the bathroom, with a poor tile job on the floor. Only about half of the channels on TV were good enough to watch. The other half had static. Fortunately, I only booked one night, and found other accommodations for my next night in Atlanta.
