Located near all the main shopping centers. They have a pool and a small workout center on site. Any complaint or problem I had that addressed it in a timely manner. The only problem initially was my room smelled like smoke. Hotel employee quickly addressed the situation and escorted me and my family to another room.
Very close to family allowing us to travel at night, arrive early am, catch sleep, eat, & then see family refreshed. Clean, quiet, friendly staff! No.
This hotel is at the end of reno, so it's very clean and modern now with new carpets, higher end furnishings, etc.. Loved the fridge and microwave. The bed was comfy and TV large, something you normally see in 3 or 4 star hotels. My room had a little bit of cleaning agent smell that I was strong, but could have been rectified with a small scented candle, I suppose if I had stayed longer. My AC had a water trickle sound that was annoying too. Bedspreads could've been nicer.
The rooms were very nice! The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good!
I will be honest and say I wasn't expecting what I saw. The hotel was beautifully updated. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was HOT and great and the location was perfect. I would highly recommend!
The friendliness of the staff!!!! No
Return booking rate
It was under construction and I was placed in a handicap room because it was only one available.
It is close to a local hospital. Smell of stall smoke. It is your typical low income extended stay. Was lacking cleanliness. One of two beds appeared to have been slept in. No working lights in bathroom, tile floor cracked and broken with sharp edges protruding and exposed. It is obvious it has been awhile since it was inspected. THIS IS ADO NOT STAY LOCATION.
My first time here was wonderful!! We came for theThanksgiving buffet and stayed over night...on the expensive side but definitely worth it!!!
It was clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful with any questions and always greeted you. The hotel is in a great location to access I85 and many restaurants and stores. The room was a nice size (king size room). On two different occasions my room was not cleaned by 4 pm. I informed the front desk and it was addressed. Also, I stayed a week and I think that my bed sheets were changed very other day.
The rooms were very clean and well kept. Loved the checkout at 2p option for no additional cost. Staff was friendly. Rooms were modern and up to date and the shower was amazing. Definitely would stay there again. Nothing I didn't like at this hotel.
The views of fireworks, location. When I first arrived, at the check in the customer service was poor. The staff family was also at the counter using profanities to the staff member helping me. It was very disruptive I had to ask them to repeat my instructions repeatedly. There was no fridge which was disappointing. My room was not cleaned daily, I had to call and ask. The last night the heater in another room on our floor made the entire floor smell like something was burning. I was ensures there was no fire but the children woke up because of the smell and were concerned which ended in a sleepless night. We stayed here because we just moved to Georgia and have no furniture in our house (waiting for moving truck). Needless to say we did not enjoy our stay.
Nice facilities and on site dining. Walls are wafer thin. I could hear the tv, conversations and shower head in the adjacent rooms and all the conversations. I couldn't get any sleep until they all went to sleep around 3 am
It was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. The staff were very professional and polite, the security was amazing( anyone without a key cannot get to guests rooms on the elevators or the fitness center), the overall atmosphere was absolutely stunning. Beautiful hotel and very much worth the price. There wasn't anything I didn't like.
The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were so cute! They brought us a mini frige and microwave upon request. The security was awesome. The hot tub was nice. I will definitely keep coming back to this hotel. The only thing I didn't like were all the little kids who were at the pool/hot tub until closing at 11pm. But nothing that made me want to leave.
Staffers were EXTREMELY friendly, I need to mention this waitress at the restaurant named Lynda, her service was OUTSTANDING, fantastic service treating customers like they were part of the family members. She really touched my heart!!! Bathroom is a bit outdated, counter surface has cracks, having to go downstairs to the lobby to use the microwave is also a bit of inconvenience.
We had a great experience at the Hilton. The rooms and bathrooms were updated, modern, and comfortable. I was even more impressed when I had to call the hotel after accidentally leaving a few pieces of clothing in the closet. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and within two days, my clothes had arrived at my doorstep via UPS. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're looking for a great place to stay with convenience to Duluth, Norcross, and the surrounding areas.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable! I loved everything!
Nothing terrible hotel I asked for a non smoking room and when I arrived the room smelled really bad with smoke odor
Hotel staff was excellent. Overall hotel was great. Spent only one night and had a great time at the indoor pool with my friends. I would definately recomend hilton hotels!
The room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. My wife and I had to make a trip to the Atlanta and thought we would take a few days and relax, shop etc. This hotel was close to plenty of places to eat, (fast food, casual and fine dinning), and plenty of shopping. People stated in previous reviews that the construction was horrible. I had read a review that mentioned the construction and requesting to stay in the higher floors since that is were they started the remodeling. I used this tip and asked to stay in the highest available room, the attendant stated that he had already put me in a room on the 10th floor which is the top floor. My wife had no idea there was construction going on until I mentioned it and pointed out the sign. One day while in the elevator as we were passing the fourth floor, we heard a saw. We will recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again. The coffee pot was only a single/double serving style pot. There was coffee made up downstairs but it was to be purchased.
Staff Room very old and walls were derty
I honestly cannot for the life of me figure out why this hotel is a four-star hotel. Our room looked like a room in a Days Inn and felt gross. I also had to wait 30 minutes to check out because no one was at the desk at 10am. I was not pleased or satisfied, and I basically paid too much for a two-star motel.
Staff was nice and it was pretty clean. There was no fridge. I am a breastfeeding mother so when I pumped i didnt have a place to store it.
everything didn't have the free breakfast bar like most hotels of your caliber
The staff We weren't told about renovations being done and only 1 elevator was working at one point
The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were so soft and the bathroom was very nice. A small room but very beautiful. -The pool was small -wall paper was pealing off a bit -could not get any food after 11pm
If you just need a place to sleep you can not beat the price.
Nice, clean, safe, convenient. I was very impressed.I enjoyed myself. Oh yea it was also nice and quiet and they have security cameras.
The room (and the property itself) was very clean and well kept. Nothing fancy (not expected for less than fifty bucks a night) The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked, but again.. At less than fifty bucks a night, a plush luxury pillowtop mattress and hypoallergenic bedding isn't to be expected.
I'm not from Atlanta, so it's hard to comment on the location or relevance of this hotel, but its access to major roads and locations suited us fine. Plenty of pillows were provided, which helped the bed out some. The toilet was very squatting and short, and the bed was "excessively firm." Its difficult to truly recommend a hotel that has an uncomfortable bed, but the price was right, so I can't complain too much.
The room was clean, and the amenities included for the price were great! It was close to the city, but also provided a break from the sirens and traffic. It was perfect for a nice place on a budget. Highly recommend! The pool could have been a little cleaner, but there wasn't anything drastic enough to stop us from enjoying it!
Great value. The essentials were done well, which is something a lot of "fancier" places will fail. Got a safe, clean, worry-free place to rest my head while we vacationed in Atlanta without breaking the bank. Location was great, travel to and from Atlanta was not a big deal and it's right next to highway without any noise or light pollution. Beds were good. Like, nothing will dazzle you but you'll be pleasantly content :) Staff at office was very nice. My only little quips was that I did encounter 1 german roach the first night, but thankfully was just a one-off, and rather them than the American/palmetto variety. Toilet lacked flushing power, even with cautious flushing was troublesome. Other than that, again I am extremely satisfied with what I got for my money, the essentials were done well.
It had a bed and a shower for a low price.
Beautiful scenery, very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again!!! Not any fault of the Marriott: The weather did not permit outdoor activities during our stay, so I felt as though we did not get our moneys worth. There is the indoor pool and exercise room, but we intended to go hiking, canoeing, etc.
Staff exceptional. Everyone encountered was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Great location at Stone Mountain Park with lots to do and great pool area for families. Enjoyed lakeside view from room balcony. Slow elevators
The facility, staff, accommodations The $15 surcharge or finance charge that is charged to a credit or debit card on location at time of check in after payment online was not specified in the reservations. Disappointed, and I was told it was released/refunded at check out but have yet to receive it.
The hotel was very reasonably priced and nice, convenient location next to 85 for holiday weekend. Room was very spacious and nice accommodations. Hotel staff was friendly and breakfast was not half bad! Room could have been spruced up a little more in terms of cleanliness and the bed was not comfortable... Needed a new mattress
Location just off the highway. Stained bedsheets and blankets still littered with hair... Obviously meant they weren't changed. A ball of hair flew out of the hair dryer the moment I turned it on. Bathroom seemed moldy and still had trash from the previous guest. Towels had brown spots too but at this point decided not to bother the management - I had enough to worry about. To their credit though housekeeping got new sheets and blankets right away. Would not stay at another Wyndham. I'm done.
My stay was for three nights and although I requested a two beds, I had to request this after I was checked in. The representative was not friendly and the bathroom had mold and bathroom had broken toilet. I would not recommend a stay at this property.
Quiet atmosphere. Clean and reasonably modern. Decent value for money. Free Wi-Fi with no login hassle required. Flat screen TV. Nice finishes in the rooms, such as granite countertops on the bathroom sink. Front desk man was friendly and helpful. Bedding was clean, and no filthy comforter either. Room had both a microwave and a mini fridge. Desk with office chair included. Forgot to give me coffee cups and water cups. TV was neutered so that you couldn't use an HDMI device to watch your own media; it only had old school style cable programming without DVR like features. Fan in the bathroom only recirculates the air through a worthless filter and doesn't remove the humidity. No central air, just a standalone unit without digital temperature controls, and windows cannot be opened either. Alarm clock was broken.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were large, clean and well-maintained. HVAC unit was VERY loud in my room; had to shut it off to sleep. Lack of a free breakfast was disappointing, and having a lounge that closed at 8pm made it of no value to me.
Location was good. Everything else was poor customer service. I arrived at 10 p.m. And was told they were overbooked. they sent me to a different hotel with a lower star rating which I didn't even think was possible. They still charged me the original full rate. the hotel they sent me to was completely under renovation. it was horrible trip overall I will never go to this hotel again.
Cant get any better for an over night or long weekend Only downfall Ive found is the local traffic. Can be hard to enter and leave.
Room was comfortable The room was a bit on the small side. We had no hot water Sunday morning!
Yes room was very nice Nice
The hotel is close to the highway. This hotel was by far the worst medium priced hotel I've ever stayed at. Someone from their corporate offices needs to see this crappy place. The elevators are filthy. They want to charge for their pathetic breakfast. The wallpaper is literally coming off the walls. Not to mention the hallways reek of moose ass.
Need to introduce free continental breakfast. Rooms are fine & clean. Location is good.
Majority of the staff was nice Some of the staff was a little argumentative during our stay with some of our friends
It was very nice, clean, comfortable, and convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. N/A
Great free breakfast. Renovated bathrooms. Stylish room. Easy, free parking. Overall clean. Located in a very nice area. Stains on the carpet in front of the sink. Pillows a bit uncomfortable. At check-in, we were not greeted promptly. Instead someone sitting at a table had to go get someone to check us in.
Rooms and facility was clean Staff was Friendly Nice breakfast
The hotel is very nice. It is a little out of the way if you are coming from downtown Atlanta; however, that seems necessary if I want a reasonably priced hotel.
The breakfast was great with lots of options the room was clean and very comfortable. I will stay here again next time I'm anywhere near norcross. I enjoyed my stay! the only thing it can think of is the hot water was very warm but never got hot enough to actually to give you that super hot feeling. On full heat it was just warm.
Most of the Staff was friendly Our pillowcases had a black stain and a black hair on them. Staff was apologetic but could not assist worth remaking the bed. Brought the wrong size sheets and could only offer a drink in the bar as a remedy. We don't drink. We also told a Manager during checkout and we're told that he would pass the information on.
Carpet was nasty, light switch was broke on lamp, wall receptacle coming out of wall when used for cpap machine. Not at all a 3 star hotel rate a 1 star
Smoke smell prominent
This hotel had a great breakfast and a great location. There were multiple problems with the room. The shower drain didn't work and the tub filled with water when you showered. The TV was also broken. It took them a day and a half to send someone to fix it. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the indoor pool. It was closed for most of our stay and I was disappointed when it opened. It is not very clean and I didn't feel comfortable swimming in it with my daughter. The staff did not seem to care much about these problems and had no sense of urgency when problems were expressed. It took a full hour to even get a towel. I would not stay again.
Proximity to Stone Mountain and the room Biscuits were hard and dry
The staff was super nice and very helpful
A quick overnight but I found it clean, affordable, polite staff. Only problem I had was WiFi password didn't work. I would stay there again.
Location was perfect We WAY overpaid for this hotel. Checked in and on the elevator to my room another guest says this is her third try getting checked into a room. The first two she was assigned already had guests she walked in on! Then housekeeping stopped the elevator from 3-4 with their cart. When I got to my room the door was wide open. The front desk said housekeeping must have left in a hurry. Tried to watch tv but the screen was messed up. Later I opened the closet and a roach was on the wall then my husband found a spider on his suitcase. The next morning housekeeping walked into our room at 10:30 even though checkout wasn't till noon! This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. The front desk said housekeeping didn't have access to a list of who hadn't checked out so its normal everywhere to have them walk in in the morning. When I mentioned the roach and spiders, I was told its summer in Georgia so bugs come inside like that made it ok!!! Horrified at how much we spent on this hotel.
All rooms very clean. New, comfy mattresses, sheets, and bedcovers in our double suite but we thought it a bit strange that the pillows were obviously much older and probably salvaged from the old bedding. The size of the bedroom and its transitional decor was better than expected for the price. Living room not as well decorated (green carpet, retro-ish burgundy chair/sofa upholstery) but still clean and comfy enough. The balcony overlooking the small pool area was a nice bonus - though it also overlooks the parking lot, which was fine since we liked being able to keep an eye on the car we rented. Well-appointed and decorated contemporary kitchen, separated, with full size fridge/freezer. Not many TV channels but free wifi was great! Somewhat long distance from sights and attractions but still great value.
the hotel was very clean. I think the hotel needs up dating.
Everything other than the cable. The actual room itself was pretty spacious. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Tv in initial room had trouble connecting to cable provider. So we had to change rooms
Everything was wonderful! The rooms were clean. The staff were super friendly and willing to help with anything they could. It was in a more quiet side of town which was a nice plus as well. I would definitely stay again and recommend to any family member or friend. We loved everything about the hotel except for the fact that it was a little further from downtown Atlanta than we would've liked. It's about a 20-25 minute drive. Overall though it was well worth it for the price and the amazing service! I would definitely stay again!
Breakfast was great, waffle flipper was a must have haha. Bed was super comfy and clean. Mini fridge was put to use. Guest services were very nice and as accommodating as possible. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again. My room was located on the second floor above an exterior exit directly below my window, so when guests went outside to smoke, we could smell a faint cigarette smell coming from outside. Worst smell to wake up to when you're a nonsmoker, don't recommend room 219 solely for this reason. And someone needs to teach those girls how to hardboil eggs properly, picky, I know, but they need to be shocked with cold water directly after done boiling so you can actually peel them easily without that weird film from the interior of the shell, pet peeve.
It is so convenient to the highway and stores and shops. The room was clean and comfortable. The feee breakfast was great and the dining area was clean and nice.
Room was great. Very neat and clean. Our mini fridge did not work. Once we notified the front desk they had checked and replaced with a working one within only 20 minutes. Great job!
It was a nice room. Everything was adequate. Staff was a little curt. Maybe she was just busy. Bed was too firm for me.
I have stayed at several Hampton Inn's over the years and this is probably one of the best one's, period. Super clean. SUPER friendly. The breakfast in the morning had a tremendous variety. The location is awesome! We were 30 minutes from the Georgia Dome, 25 minutes from Dekalb Farmers Market, and 31 minutes from Marietta Diner. The room made me feel like I was in a 4 star. If you have the means, I suggest this hotel 100 times over!
1.The furnish was nicely put together, i would love to own a bed like theirs. Literally, fell right to sleep. 2.The fridge was small but perfect, it didnt take years to get my water or beers cold. 3.The staff was delightful! 4. The television graphics was amazing, HD nice. 5. room was nice and cold throughout the whole trip. 1.Honestly, i dislike the breakfast. For the name "Hampton" i would expect great quality of food and different choices (Not everyone eats pork) but im still a meat lover. 2.Didnt like the fact the pool area closes so early. 10pm really? 3.No shower caps at all. 4. They should definitely have a basket for the dirty items, throwing on the floor seem a bit... tacky
I would totally recommend this hotel either for families or for those on business trip. Very good quality for the reasonable price. Beautiful area around, very quet place, the hotel is pretty new by itself. The breakfast though standard was not bad at all, the breakfast area is pretty big. The hotel also has a small gym and an average size inside heated swimming pool (a little bit shallow, but excellent for kids).
I liked that it was close to Resturants and little shops, the rooms were super clean and bed was beyond comfortable! Staff was rude, they put the card on file for the $50 which is understandable but when I left to check out there was a new sign that said I owed $5 extra per night. That was never mentioned and they automatically took it off my card without asking.
I liked the tub and the space in the room. It didn't feel cramped at all. The people upstairs sounded like they were bouncing bowling balls and the people next to me engaged in raucous laughter until about 1am. I very nearly called the front desk to report these folks.
We travel with our two mini Yorkies and one thing LaQuinta offers above the rest is pet stay for free-we absolutely love this! Food was ok would like to better coffee and healthier food choices
I made a reservation at LaQuinta specifically because they were advertised as pet friendly. When I checked in I found out only the ground floor allowed pets and there were no ground floor rooms available. My little doggie had to spend the night in the car. Pet owners beware.
No complaints. Clean and comfortable. Well worth the price!
There's an older white guy who's the day shift manager who gave us above average service! I was surprising my girlfriend by setting up the room so that it's romantic when she walks in and he let me in hours early to do it! Very clean place, spacious rooms for the price. Really slept comfortably. Great king beds.
Staff was very helpful with all my needs enjoyed my stay very good Someone in room 129 had a dog that barked all night long. WoW that part sucked
This is the second time staying there. The rooms are clean. Staff is always friendly. Dinner was good could not finish it all. The bathroom was very cold had to prop the door open to warm it up. The hallway was freezing. Had to go to different floors for ice and drinks.
The staff at this Holiday Inn were very nice even during a busy late check in. The breakfast was delicious, but there is a charge for it and you must bring your coupons down or they will give you a check.
Was in close walking distance to the Arena and a restaurant that's open till 2am on weekends. Hotel is very nice and has outdoor sitting areas. I didn't have time to enjoy the pool or work out facilities but it was an option. The windows in my room pretty much stretched from one wall to the other. Very nice. I was in a handicap accessible room and the toilet seat was very loose because the screws were stripped. It tightened it as much as I could but this is a safely hazard especially for handicapped or elderly people that aren't expecting the toilet seat to shift and almost fall off.
Just an amazing place. Perfectly situated in Duluth. Walking distance from everything you need. Beautiful area. Nothing!
Very nice people, clean rooms Furnishings a bit out of date, couldn't really walk anywhere (my car had a trailer attached so couldn't drive)
Free wifi, breakfast , parking is free and close Towels were rough, carpet kind of old and dingy
air conditioner outlet/vent was right next to one of the beds so when it came on it would blow right on the person in the bed. thermostat did very little to keep the room at the selected temperature!
Friendly staff. Clear, concise instructions about the property. Breakfast was good. Comfortable bed.
The walls are paper thin you can hear everything going on around you.
The room was comfortable, except for the paranoia of the bedbugs since I kept getting bug bites out of nowhere. The pool was fun, and the breakfast was convenient but disgusting. We mostly just slept there while we were out all day. So it was comfortable to sleep on there bed, and the room we had was very spacious. I found a bedbug and ever since then I have been eaten up, even after we left the hotel. The room was so clean looking you would have never guessed. One of the people of the front desk were very rude when I brought it up to him. He simply cut me off and said I don't know what a bedbug was, but that thing was huge and I have Google on my phone. The housekeeping did not speak one word of English, so when they ran out of towels when I needed a shower and the housekeeping was just around the corner, I had to go all the way to the lobby and front desk to talk to the woman who did know English because the room phone did not work. There was also something wrong with the T.V. The only thing we could watch was Cartoons and having grown out of that, it was annoying and there was not much else to do at the hotel. The shower head also did not have enough pressure to let me take a proper shower so that was not cool. The hotel was in a bad location as well. We had to make so many U Turns to get into the hotel because there were a lot of one-way road and we could not turn left at most stop lights.
The staff was so polite. Our room was always kept so clean. Anything we needed they were able to accommodate us. The laundry room was a little outdated and did not work very well. The pool was freezing the entire time we were there.
This was my second time staying at this hotel. The staff was great. They even called to check on us and make sure we didn't need anything. When we did ask for something we received it promptly. I kinda wish they had free breakfast.
Cleanliness and comfort of the room No cold sodas in on floor vending machine
Staff was friendly and very acomidating There where guests causing disrutions and a pool party that got out of hand. But, the staff handled it very discreetly.
