The owner John was great he helped us with planning out our stay in the Cape and gave us places we should visit which was perfect we saw a lot while we were there.
The motel is well run by the owners, John and Melanie. Clean as a whistle. The owners are helpful, friendly and very nice. This is the place to stay while on the Cape. Their food recommendations were on target. Could not be more pleased with our stay. Can't think of a thing to complain about.
Location, grounds and personal service
The man who checked us in was very nice, and the hotel was generous with the number of towels left for us to use. The counter around the sink was not clean, nor was the bathroom floor.
Convenience, price bathroom and sink had not been cleaned, room was dusty, TV was not working

Location is nice, very close to the rail trail. When we first came in the room there were ants and spiders on the wall. It was very dirty (hair in the bathroom, dirty sink/faucet/tub ... ). Furniture were very old and in a poor shape. Sheets did not look that clean. A lot of dust on every furniture. Very few light in the room, poor lightning. Breakfast was very poor (we even had a fly in the bread). A couple bagel/industrial muffins and powder coffee can not be called "continental breakfast". We will never come back to this motel. This motel does not deserve his 2 stars.
It was very comfortable, safe and relaxing. I was there with my girlfriend and we both loved it. Pool was great and there are 2 tennis courts, a basketball court and a volleyball area. Not the most modern sporting set up but very good for both adults and children. Staff were very good and always there to help. I would (and already have) recommend this to friends and family and if I am lucky to go to Cape Cod again, I would stay here again. Good spot for R&R. Not so much for drinking and partying. Like other places in the Cape, car hire would be needed unless you fancy cycling 10+ miles a day getting to beach and back.
It was nice that there was a pool. The weather was poor so we didn't get to try it, though. This is very much a motel. The bed wasn't too bad but the toilet wasn't securely seated on the floor and would rock a little bit each time you sat down. The key to the room had to be really pushed into the lock or it didn't work properly (we had to get the guy at the front desk to help us when we first arrived).
Good price and location for the Cape. Basic accommodations.
Overall, quite comfy. Structure a bit dated, but ok.
We try to stay at this hotel as much as possible since it has a pool and hot tub. The security is excellent as well. The only problem is that specials are advertised but try and get them! The AAA rate is higher than their best rate!
While the room was large, clean, and pleasant, the heating/air-conditioning unit was so noisy that it was impossible to get a decent nights sleep. There was no way to shut it off, and no way to make the fan stay on. As a result, the very loud fan turned on and off intermittently all night, constantly interrupting sleep.\nHotel is in the midst of a major renovation. The pool was large and nice. There were activities planned for the kids during school vacation week. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
There would be a nicer place to take your kids if the hallways were less noisy after 9:00pm. You can hear every door slam close and every conversation taking place. The hotel really can't be blammed for parents who let their kids run wild but they could do something about the doors. On the plus side, it has great activities for kids (bingo, pool, movies, etc.). It does not have the usual musty smell you get with older places There is a lot to like here.
Hotel facilities were very run down. Tennis courts closed, had grass growing in them. Pool was unclean, peeling paint, no towels. Furniture throughout the facility were dirty and worn. Our non-smoking room was only recently a smoking room and smelled from the smoke. Staff were very unhelpful only offering that they would try but, there was no guarantee when asked about early check-in, use of a crib. Never followed uo.
We enjoy this hotel each time we stay. This is the first hotel we look for when we need to get away from everything. It is very accomodating and exceptionally well maintained. The staff is ALWAYS very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. The rooms are warm and inviting and the beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The large, flat screen television in the room was a nice surprise. We always seem to spend most of the time at the hotel in the large, peaceful, indoor pool area. There is enough space to sit quietly either alone or in a group with friends. Overall, this is one of the best hotels in the area and always the first on our list.
We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel, as we were attending a conference there. Upon check-in we discovered that they could not accommodate our reservation (made 6 months in advance) for a king bed. We were offered one of the handicapped rooms the next day. We found the staff to be poorly trained, and the material condition of the hotel to be somewhat less than promised. There were stains on the carpets in the halls. Our first morning, we went to the hotel restaurant for breakfast, and found that it was ''buffet only'' - no ordering off the menu. The buffet was not as good as the free one at Hampton Inns, yet is cost $11 per person. The exercise room was poorly equipped, and despite reporting equipment problems, nothing was repaired during our week there. Basically, the attitude seems to be that they are cashing in on the short tourist season, and collecting as much cash as they can, because they figure they will never see you again. This hotel is definitely a step below a Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn. It is certainly not well equipped for the business traveler, but, given the location, it is easy to see why not. Our recommednation to the conference staff was to select another venue, or we would not attend again. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff seemed to do a good job of keeping the rooms clean.
Nice clean hotel situated between hyannis and provicetown.Very close to Orleans and great beaches and restaurants.Good for family gatherings as there is a nice indoor pool area where groups can comfortably gather.The hotel is a mile away from the entrance to the national seashore for coast guard beach and nauset light beach and the hotel is right on the bike path.You just walk out the back door and your connected to the rail trail.
I booked room for 4 people. They provided towels for only 3 people (every day that we were there). We called the front desk to ask for one more set of towels. They never deliver the towels . Room was not vacuumed on a daily basis. The indoor pool water was murky. The temperatue inside the indoor pool was extremely hot and humid. (airconditioners are vented into the indoor pool enclosure.)
The location of this hotel is great, but that is about the only thing it has going for it. The front desk staff is rude and unhelpful--a better word for it would probably be 'useless'. I left a rather expensive article of clothing in the room when I checked out, and called the same day to see if housekeeping had found it or could retrieve it. No one at the front desk was willing to help. They refused to contact housekeeping, and kept transferring me to the lost and found voicemail. The woman was rude and, instead of putting me on hold, put the phone on the counter and proceeded to chat with her co-workers about the latest movies--I could hear every word of her conversation. If this matter was this unimportant to the hotel staff, Needless to say, the hotel never contacted me about the message I had left on the voicemail, or took any steps to try and remedy the situation. On top of it all, our room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days, and the bathroom floor was filthy. I actually ended up cleaning it myself. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The Inn itself is gorgeous with plenty of space to sit and relax, a fireplace, coffee, cookies and hot cider in the afternoons and a very nice continental breakfast in the mornings with coffee, fresh fruit and fresh baked goods. Wine glasses and openers are available as are a small fridge, hot chocolate packets and assorted teas. They have board games and a library. We were upgraded to the Sunrise room - a lovely surprise! Since it was off season we didn't take advantage of the many outdoor spaces to sit and relax but I'm sure it's lovely on a warm summer night! No shades/blinds on the windows. Shower curtain on the shower rather than a door.
The inn is very cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere. It is tastefully decorated with Cape Cod nautical theme, using authentic antiques, but is understated, not overdone. The breakfast is ample, with fresh pastries. In the afternoon, they have fresh home baked cookies and coffee, and provide the makings for some-mores if you want to make a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Each room is different, in keeping with the Inn's history. The building itself has been restored, with careful attention to all architectural details, inside and out, which added to its charm. The staff were all extremely friendly, polite and helpful. We will definitely be back. Because the building is old, the A/C had to run constantly to keep the system balanced, but the temperature was comfortable. There was just a constant background noise from the duct work.
The location is good. The motel had literally one front office employee, that we had to go find at the motel diner because no one was working the front desk. My girlfriend and I showed up a few hours before check in to see if we could check in a little early, as we had to get ready for a wedding. We were told there was no way that they would be able to accommodate an early check in, as they had not even begun cleaning the rooms (this was at noon). I found this strange, as our car was one of only five in the parking lot. We were forced to book a different room at the four points next door, which allowed us to check in early, only to receive a call thirty minutes later from the Town Crier saying that we could check in early now. Both rooms were non-refundable so we ended up just having to eat the cost of the Town Crier and staying at the much nicer hotel next door. Overall a terrible experience.
Location, bike path, indoor pool access at 4 points, most of the staff was good as when I mentioned we had some (not a ton) ants they took care immediately with an organic spray that worked for the remainder of our stay and the manager was very professional and courteous. The room, bedding, towels, and bathroom were clean. Bathroom screen/window dirty and full of bugs, old tub/shower plastic shows some mildew and deterioation, but clean. Deteriorating building, outdoor steps wiggled, deck shows rot. maid never left enough towels family of four left with only 3 towels multiple nights had to go to front desk or catch her outside. Ants, but were taken care of ASAP. (BTW no outdoor flower boxes like in the photo...)
