Loved everything about the Hyatt we didn't have to leave the hotel if we didn't want to everything was already there St. Louis the city as a whole was a disappointment everything was under construction and closed

When I pay as much for a hotel room as I did at this place, I expect parking to be included, or at the very least for it to be reasonably priced. Instead, this hotel expects you to pay $26 a night for parking!! That is a rip off for a midsized Midwestern city. We ended up parking a block away in public parking and walking back to the hotel. The fact that they charge $26 a night for parking!!!!!
When the hotel is packed.. the elevators break down.. searching for alternative route to the 16th! Floor.. Got stuck in the elevator with 7 others.. for about 10 min.. 1 vending machine in lobby only!?!
Double beds in hotel rooms is an outdated approach imo. Might as well have 2 queens.
The room was clean and the location was excellent. The bedding was inadequate and there was no comforter. The hotel staff couldn't figure out how to send one up to the room and lied about giving a discount for poor service.
The location There was not a pool. We wish it was in the description as we planned our whole afternoon around swimming.
Nice view and good customer service Room was not thoroughly cleaned; magazines on floor behind desk and bathroom shower/tub was not clean. While showering, was very discussed to find hairs on the shower walls etc of previous occupants. Called housekeeping and they did come to clean bathroom.

Very clean, nice room, nice views They failed to mention anything about breakfast at check-in and when I inquired they said I didn't add it on. In the morning we got an early wake up call we didn't ask for and never got back to sleep because the hallways were so loud. It seems the doors there automatically slam every time someone leaves and people talking in the halls can be heard perfectly. Nothing was done to try to resolve these issues when I brought them up.
Parking garage was a bit of a pain. Everything else was great.

Elevators are horrible in the east tower 1 is only used for the bar on the roof..it took us 20 minutes to get an elevator from our room on the 9th floor to the lobby because the elevators available to guests staying at the hotelweree full everytime

Our room was small but comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was great--we overlooked Busch Stadium. The location was also perfect for walking around downtown St. Louis. For a really spectacular view, head to 360, but be forewarned, you can't get there without the assistance of staff. We tried and wandered aimlessly. We did not utilize the gym or pool, but they looked nice. The shower was awful. When going away for whatever reason or for however long, it is imperative to have a decent shower. Our hotel shower had low pressure, a weak stream, and we didn't feel clean afterwards. When we got home, the first thing we did was take a nice hot shower. r The hotel seems to have updated everything but the rooms. The Market Bistro was very pleasant; all staff was more than friendly and accommodating. There wasn't a bartender behind the lobby bar, so we couldn't just grab a quick drink there; we'd have to go into the Market Bistro. Also, if you need anything such as deodorant, a toothbrush, or a nail clipper, you won't be able to get these in the gift shop. Slim pickings down there. We left for all of our meals, cocktails, and any forgotten items.
Convenient, nice parking arrangement (not too pricey for the city), restaurant/bar at the top of the hotel was very good! The elevators, though usually efficient, were occasionally slow. It was also a bit difficult to regulate the temperature of the room.
Room 1230 has a wonderful view of Busch stadium. Terrible pillows. The staff had issues with our reservation. They had a notation in computer to charge the room to an AmEX. We don't have an AmEX. The room was overpriced.

The proximity to the Arch & Ballpark was great as well as the other downtown spots. Never really felt like we needed a taxi except when we went to the Budweiser Brewery. The welcome desk & concierge staff were very friendly & informative. The only cons I have about this hotels is the elevator w/ the keypads were always backed up, there is no free wi-fi, & the rooms didn't have a fridge. Other than that the hotel was nice.

So close to everything downtown, but the hotel is also very nice--they are not trading a nice place to stay for just the location. And the place was very popular, people enjoying the lobby and going up to rooftop bar, even though the Cardinals were out of town.

Bed was comfortable. Big rooms and nice rain shower. Nearby bridge construction makes it difficult to access. Said bar was closed when there were still people in it. Took forever to check out - one agent to handle phones and checkout. Then I needed change for a valet tip so skipped the front desk and asked the restaurant - took over 5 minutes to finally get my change. Staff all friendly and tried to be helpful but the actual result was frustrating.
We loved thw beds! We just wanted to slunber. Loved the spa bathroom. LIked having a robe. Good food. Nice tv. Spacious room! We felt special. This was a staycation for me and my senior mom. She enjoyed herself immensely. There was a high pitched humming noise, like from something mechanical, coming from outside the room. It wasn't too loud, but you could hear it. I don't know if it was the hotel itself, or noise from the street. We were on a higher floor as well.
Best bed/comforter I've ever had at a hotel, shower was luxurious, nice bathrobe, staff was very friendly, parking attendant was very friendly. Nothing extra was included, no free breakfast, not even a free bottle of water even though it's sitting on your dresser when you get there (has a tag for $3). Minibar, like any hotel, was way overpriced.
Was suppose to check in after 3 didn't get 1 room till 5:30 and didn't get the other 2 rooms until 8:30 at night. Some of our group had to change clothes in the hotels public restroom. Front desk staff was not very helpful probably will not stay there again.
Nicely appointed rooms and great location to Busch Stadium. There are too many extras that the customer has to pay for. The Internet was $12.00 per day and the cost for drinks and food in the hotels restaurant were not a good value at all. We found ourselves going to the Hilton, just a block away, for these amenities.
We stay at this hotel a few times a year. It's clean. The rooms are huge. And the beds are comfortable. We will almost certainly stay here again. The cleaning staff was very aggressive in there multiple attempts to enter the room while we slept in till about 10. And then while we were showing and getting ready to leave. Needless to say it was uncomfortable and frustrating. There was also construction at the entrance of the hotel this time during our stay. The room was loud. And the street and sidewalks were a mess.
They gave us a very nice clean room on the top floor overlooking the stadium and arch. Bathroom had a decent sized bathtub! Downtown location means that you will pay at least $20 per night for parking! Hallway noise seemed to come in a bit louder than in other places I've stayed.
Location to downtown sites. Spacious room - very clean. COOL FEATURE - for $5 Westin will supply you with workout shirt, shorts, shoes (if you forgot them or just don't want some stinkiness in your bag for the trip home). Restaurant staff was very friendly and had. O problem getting hot water for me for the provided in-room tea bags. Food options were pricey - especially in-room. No hot tub (was really hoping for this esp after long days during biz trip and when cold out). Fitness Center has nice footprint and facilities but could be better equipped (more weight options - less cardio machines). They tried charging me for parking ($20) even though I arrived via Uber & told them I had no need for their parking services when I checked in the night before.
The Valet Staff was amazing. Polite, friendly and welcoming. Excellent first and last impression. Very Clean hotel The location of this property is ideal. We could walk to everything except the zoo and the brewery. Laclede's Landing was less than a 20 minutes walk. We went for a run in the city one morning that was gorgeous with the arch and sunrise as a backdrop and through some smaller parks on market street. We drove down from Indiana. It was a 5 + hour drive. Not horrible but long enough. When we got there we had to wait 30 minutes for our room to be ready. It was 5 pm. WELL after the check in time. That was aggravating. We were supposed to have a tub in our room and we ended up in the handicap room, so not tub and the shower was set up for movement challenged individuals. Great that they are accessible for people that need it but we would have preferred the room we booked. The sink in the bathroom leaked and the soap shelf in the shower was pulling away from the wall.

Hotel has been renovated within the past year or so. I had a Junior suite which was very nice. The staff for breakfast In the concierge lounge were very attentive and very nice (Pam and Ruth). Cher was very helpful at the front desk.
Beds were comfortable. Convienent. Our room had a very poor layout. Antiquated TV that was 20 ft from the bed. Bathroom set up is very poor. The bathroom was huge but just wasted space. A pedestal sink with a narrow glass shelf above, left very little room for your toiletries. My tioletry bag wouldn't even sit on it. Service in the bar was also very poor, especially for the price of a cocktail.

within walking distance to numerous tourist spots downtown fairly decent free breakfast "river scene" with statues on the lobby . . gave the whole lobby the smell of chlorine; ridiculous check-in situation: VERY limited parking in front of the hotel, so you have to wait for someone to pull out before you can pull in, then go check in and THEN they give you a voucher for the parking garage that is across the street; there are 4 elevators in this hotel; but our room was only accessed by one elevator . . . with no option of taking the stairs instead.
They were very pet friendly. I had my dog with and had no issues. Flat rate 15$ a day. Beds were hard

The bed was so comfortable, the staff was courteous and helpful, everything was very clean and the building was absolutely beautiful! It is located right so close to everything downtown we just walked everywhere! The bedroom was a little bit small, there was only about 2 ft, maybe less, between the end of the bed and the wall. However, it is an old building so that's to be expected. We had a not so beautiful view of the A/C units but for the price, I can't complain.

The property is beautiful, the staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive, and the room was very comfortable and relaxing with an interesting layout. The only thing I could call a negative was the view out our windows of the HVAC units.
Stunning hotel, extremely nice staff. I normally don't spend this amount on hotels but it was nice to treat myself. I hope I get to go back again! So cute to have cookie time even though I wasn't able to make it, same with the happy hour. I didn't like to 30$ in state fees and taxes .... And that the free breakfast didn't include eggs, ect.
The good -The hotel lobby and exterior are beautiful, the decor in the rooms are nice -The beds, pillows and linens were the most comfortable I've ever experienced -The location is perfect, close to entertainment, restaurants and nightlife The bad -There's no fridge or microwave. If you're like me you might think, "no big deal." If you stay more than one night, it's a big frickin deal. You can't even have a cold drink of water without going to the 8th floor for ice. Forget the left overs from dinner you might want to bring back. Or the bottle of wine you'd like to chill. Or anything else that may need to be cold. It's a huge inconvenience that no milk and cookies or free wine can make up for. I can not for the life of me understand why they didn't install a fridge. -The breakfast is the worst. Plan on eating breakfast out. The options are extremely limited. Toast, bagels, cereal, muffins, and a few fruits. If I was staying one night, I wouldn't hesitate to choose this hotel. The problem is, I never stay one night anywhere. The no fridge thing is the tipping point for me. There's nothing else that differentiates this hotel from the major chains than the lack of a couple of basic amenities/services, a fridge, a microwave and a good breakfast.

While the hotel is clean and beautiful, what really stood out to us was how incredibly friendly and accomidating the staff was. We've never experienced such genuine hospitality before. This will definitely be our "go-to" hotel when we're in St. Louis. Zero complaints. Everything was completely up to par. Proce was fair. We could not find fault.
Room was comfortable relative to other business hotels and comparable to any Hilton I have stayed at. Location was described as being within walking distance of public transportation, which is not accurate. Room service order was delivered with missing items, and I was charged for them. Despite apologies from the front desk personnel and a promise that additional charges would be removed for undelivered items, nothing was changed. I asked again at checkout, but when I got the bill on my bank card it was the same. Prices for room service were typically outrageous so that just added to the issue.
The location is good if you need to be near the conference center. The room was very small. Our view was a brick building. We didn't have enough towels. The front desk staff was indifferent about our requests. Parking is pricey. The restaurant was awful.
The staff was helpful and friendly. We were close to downtown and the room was very clean and was a very spacious room. The hotel was quiet and overall was a very positive experience. There wasn't too many food options right near the hotel, we ended up taking a taxi to the downtown area for most of our trip.
The employees were very nice and helpful. Hotel bed was dirty, found lipstick stain as well as hairs that didn't belong to us.
When our room was late they comped us on food items in the restaurant.
The staff were all very friendly, if not terribly helpful. Room was *filthy*. Walls were dirty, carpet was horrifying, and the bedspreads were filthy. They didn't even cover the bedspreads with fresh sheets. Sofa and chairs were so gross we were didn't want to sit on them. We were surprised to find out at the last minute that there was: -no microwave (They offered to bring us a microwave for a fee of $20/day. What?!) -no complimentary parking (We chose a hotel downtown in part to save on parking!!) -no complimentary breakfast So the value of a "discounted" room went out the window.
Check in and out was smooth, room was comfortable, on site parking, good proximity to Busch Stadium and Scottrade Center. Wi-fi wasn't free, TV wasn't easily seen from the far side of the bed. Needed better parking signage from the street.
Good security for the better part. The room was dirty. I found food on the floor. Staff at front desk was fair. A woman followed me into the bathroom that I had to unlock. Strange certainly not a guest. Do not know how she got into the hotel.
The location is good. It has promise. It's across the street from the train station, under construction, and close to the Cardinals and Blues arenas. I didn't like the popcorn in the couch cushions, the pizza left the counter, and the wad of hair floating in the pool. Cleanliness is a real issue. I would overlook the worn facilities if the place was clean.

Everything was very good except checkout. I had to wait in line for 30 minutes before two customers in the only two lines were helped and the line began to move. I had no issues to resolve, there should have been someone else that was called up to help or an express line for people checking out.

I loved the hotel as a whole, very vintage with a good feel, and the name fits well in my opinion. I feel if you come to St. Louis often, then you must stay at the Majestic at least once. What I'm about to say you can take to the bank because I run a family AC & Refrigeration business in the south! The lobby AC was out all weekend (Friday to Sunday), also we had our room set at 60° and trust me it was not 60°. Could also tell that our room AC has had problems such as water leaks (due to water damage around the return grille and unit access hatch. Filter and return grille was dirty, overall the AC would run better if the units had the proper maintenance on a regular schedule.
Rooms were clean. Location was in a great spot downtown, Parking is not free. Even though they advertised online as free parking, it isn't. Staff wasn't equipped to handle problems, we watched a man ahead of us not find his room ready for him and the single person working wasn't able to help him. We were told we couldn't park there even though Kayak listed the hotel as "free parking". Upon check in, the sole person at the desk told us we couldn't park at the hotel and needed to park somewhere else. We went for dinner, returned and found 3 empty spaces. We parked in one. The following morning we had a note on the car letting us know our license plate had been recorded and to not park there again. Not to worry. We won't be using this hotel again. It's too bad, it's in a great location.

Building was beautiful, and was within walking distance of many nice restaurants and to the Peabody opera House (Avett Brothers). Be prepared for paying $26 for valet or feeding the meter on off street parking. Room was very small, beware they will charge you $10 for using their WIFI, bed was horribly uncomfortable, pillows were just as bad, and there was no hot water in our room. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again. If you have to stay here bring a good mattress pad and your own pillows and be prepared to take a cold shower.
There was not enough parking for guest, we had to pay an extra $20 at another location to park...good thing we only stayed one night. The air and fridge in the room didn't work. The attendant was not compassionate at all and seemed to be no help. The room seemed dirty and old. The shower took awhile to get to work because the handle was stuck. The shower curtain rings were rusted The hair dryer was disgusting and half worked. The restaurant/bar in the pictures wasn't even open when we were there. I will never be back.

We stayed here 4 years ago after our wedding reception when it was the Omni. We were sad that it felt so different t. The room smelled like cigarettes. The staff was nice, but lacked the professionalism the Omni had. An elevator was broken. The restaurant looked closed on a Saturday night. For $200 a night we expect more.
This place was fantastic. Everything from the room layout, to happy hour, to facilities provided. Nice, welcoming staff and very clean room. Parking. No options for parking but I get it...it is downtown STL and options are limited. Just pricey to valet your car.
