Pros: The breakfasts are wonderful. Everything is homemade to include the maple and orange butter. The owners are friendly and warm. You never know who is staying there and eating breakfast with you. They could be traveling through or award winning actors! No matter who is there, it is always a lovely time.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and well kept house. The Inn Keepers are great people.
Cons: My room at the front of the house, next to the road, got a lot of traffic noise even though the windows were closed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place! We were in town for the Brimfield Fair and found it by chance because we waited too long to book a place. Well, this procrastinating paid off. This place is adorable! Steve and Susan are fantastic hosts too!. We were greeted at the door with a smile and then immediately brought to our room without any waiting. Our room was so nice. There was a very comfortable four post bed, an electric fireplace, a few chairs and a TV with a decent amount of channels. The next morning, we started the day with a home cooked meal of waffles, eggs, fruit and coffee. Other guests were at the table too and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them (and Steve and Susan). Since we only stayed one night, we didn't really take advantage of the grounds themself but I could see myself sitting on the porch reading in the evening when we come back for a few nights. Before we checked out, Susan offered us a tour of the rest of the place and we were well impressed by the kind sized beds, the hot tubs and beautiful decor. We now know which room to pick for our next visit. And I need to add that the price is right! for less than $200 a night, we were treated like royalty and had the best night's sleep too.
Cons: There is nothing to NOT like about the Tolland Inn... we loved it and will recommend it to friends and we will be back ourselves.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Was very nice place to stay, the hosts were very sweet and inviting. Would suggest a sign that lets guest know where to go to check in. Also would be nice to have more variety for breakfast.

Everything was super clean. I can’t speak more positively of the inn! It was wonderful in every aspect!
Cons: Literally nothing. Everything was perfect and exceed the expectations I had!

Pros: Fantastic Belgian waffle. Want to return.
Cons: Can't think of anything

7.0 Good
Pros: The proximity to the campus
5.5 Okay
Pros: The pool was empty most of the time.
Cons: We booked for a 6 person stay, only had two beds in our room. It was so cramped my daughter ended up getting a concussion the night of our stay because there was no room for all of us and she tripped over a chair and slammed her temple into a table corner.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is tired. Since it is the only hotel around, it seems that it might be spruced up a bit! Also, it was fairly expensive for the quality.
7.0 Good
Pros: The two restaurants the food was outstanding
Cons: Our room was a handicap room and I have an infant thus making bathing her difficult. Also it was my husband and my daughter with me in 1 room and my parents in another and we were on separate floors. I don't think the room was worth ----$
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice comfortable room. Within walking distance of Gampel Pavillion, stores and restaurants. The tavern in the hotel was a good place for a bite to eat after the game.
1.0 Poor
Cons: The room was old, it must have had leaks at some point in time and they never fixed the damage. Wall paper was peeling off with stains on it. I laid in bed and there was a bug on the ceiling, my son disposed of it. I woke up with a dead bug in my bed
8.8 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: This is a 3 star hotel that benefits from being the only location on or near the Uconn campus. Staff was lovely and the gym facilities good.
Cons: It is a tired feeling property in need of work for the price. You pay a 40% premium for the location over similar level properties 15 miles away. Breakfast was adequate.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: What a lovely family! You can tell that they paid great attention to detail and truly wished their visitors to have a great experience. The room was lovely and the recently remodeled bathroom was amazing.
Cons: Everything was really lovely. The room is in the family's home so I think it's important that guests understand that you will be literally living with the family. This was not a problem for us but others might not like it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Danelle was very helpful and friendly. We even met her daughter. We were early on arrival and it was no problem. Since we were the only ones for that night we were upgraded to a room with private bath. Beautiful rooms and linens!
Cons: Coffee was a bit strong in the morning for my taste but my daughter liked it. (So I just added more milk! - no problem)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Steel-cut oats with berries and local peaches one morning, pancakes and bananas the next. The bathroom had been renovated recently and mixed modern conveniences (like a shower) with colonial charm (like a claw-foot bathtub). The innkeepers were friendly and shared local history and points of interest. The bedroom was comfortable and air-conditioned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room and the bed great breakfast!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived way after 10:30 pm and the owner was kind enough to leave a note on the office door letting us know our room # and the key. After traveling from a far distance we were so relieved. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable night stay. Only thing I would have liked a 11 am check out not 10 am.
Cons: 10 am check out
10.0 Excellent

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The only good thing about this hotel was the location. It was perfect for where I was visiting for the week.
Cons: This hotel was dirty, dated, and the staff was not nice to deal with. The room was filthy, wreaked of cigarette smoke, the furniture is old, dirty and the bathroom floor was full of hair upon arrival. When we told the front desk to please clean it, they laughed at us. The room never got made up one day and the room keys didn’t work 3 days in a row! I don’t care how convenient the location is, I will never stay here again and I will make sure to tell as many people as I can that they shouldn’t stay here either.
6.3 Good
Pros: Website advertised a pool. Hotel had none
7.5 Good
Cons: I was traveling with a cheerleading group and the girls were very excited to be able to go swimming after returning from their competition, however, upon checking in we found out that the pool was closed due to maintenance. It would have been very nice to have been notified beforehand that the pool was not open. We could have planned another activity for the girls. We were all highly disappointed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Continental breakfast was very good!
Cons: Website listed there was a pool, one of the main reasons I booked there..even showed pictures of it..however it was very apparent that the pool has been out of order for quite some time! A little false advertising for sure. Other than that it was a fine place to stay! Very nice staff!

Cons: This 3.5 star hotel was nothing more than a motel.
4.3 Okay
Cons: The parking spaces where not assigned, & someone else was always parked in front of our room, so we had to park several cars away, even though I’m handicapped and had trouble bringing our luggage in. The AC was high up & over the TV, so it was difficult & dangerous to stand on a chair & engage the controls. Pool was covered, but nothing in the information state’d so. I almost brought my swim trunks, glad I didn’t!

4.0 Okay
Pros: Room appeared very clean.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was super nice and helpful! Had flown in on a red eye with plans that didn't start until mid morning and was more exhausted than I'd planned so I phoned up the hotel and they were able to get me an early check in without any problems. Easy access to internet, printing, and copying, and the free breakfast was always fully stocked and surprisingly tasty! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Grounds were very well kept.

7.0 Good
Pros: Good for one night stay
Cons: Bit dated
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked that there was a refrigerator
Cons: The beds could have been more comfortable
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and comfortable. The location was right off of the highway, very easy to get to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: all of it the location first the staff every member the bed fantastic one large spider but he went his way and never saw him again bit crowded with larger than needed furniture NICE new bathroom appliances only the ceiling needs cleaned and painted and the door to the bathroom needs painted
Cons: bathroom ceiling very spotted with marks probably from prior showers without proper vent all new vent!! that helped bit dark but nice and quiet only tight parking and maybe more accessible ice machine did not see any ice machine
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet and super close to the interstate but not so close you couldn’t sit outside and still have peace and quiet
Cons: The bed wasn’t comfy as some places I’ve stayed but I do have back and neck issues so it’s always hit or miss.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Price was the main factor but the room was clean and the bed was as well.
Cons: The mattress is a little weird, it has a select comfort bed but no controllers to adjust it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The family that owns it are very nice. And I love the location. It's quite rural but close to a major highway. My room was cute. A large TV on a hutch, a work desk and a comfy recliner. The mattress was perfect. I slept deeply which is uncommon for me.
Cons: The extremely loud and rude people from Texas next door. Of course it has nothing to do with the motel but it's honestly my only complaint.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The tv channels
Cons: The room was filthy, walls were dirty and the room even had bed bugs! By far the worse hotel/ motel I've every stayed at. The owner even had the nerve to tell me that we had brought the bed bugs to the room. I will never stay here again or recommend it!
5.5 Okay
Pros: $60 was really cheap and worked out for a quick overnight
Cons: Very old Dirty
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Spacious king bed
Cons: The sheets had spots/stains on them that even though they smelled and otherwise seemed like they had been washed. There was also a hole in a sheet. Disgusting shower with very difficult and outdated water controls. Overall, more like a 1 than a 2 star.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It was cheap, $62 the first night and $69 the following
Cons: Their was NOTHING around the hotel, they didn't have coffee in the lobby OR in the rooms, the condition of the first room was poor. The second room was even worse.
6.3 Good
Pros: At least, happy to have a roof and a bed for the night Green surroundings
Cons: Bed sheets dirty No breakfast

5.5 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice. Rein's Deli is next door. This was the main reason we chose this facility. Rein's is our favorite Deli.
Cons: The room had an unpleasant smell. The floors were a tad sticky. The upholstery was stained and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: Front office staff displayed non helpful attitude...room did not have refrigerator and microwave as promised...dirty towel was in room when we arrived...bathtub was very slippery when showering...stopper in drain in sink was broken...wash cloth was torn
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Didn't notice the breakfast (probably missed it).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable and the hotel very quiet. Sunday night occupancy.
Cons: No matter how much I tried fixing the shower curtain, the floor still got wet. The floor, even with my trying to "mop" it up with towels, was still VERY slippery. There's going to be a fall in that suite that is ordinarily reserved for handicapped and disabled.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The price was good. The staff were nice.
Cons: Our room was smoke free yet smelled of smoke and the room wasn’t the cleanest.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: the place was old and smell like old smoke did not like the lpace
Cons: just was not liking the overall setup for example hallway was smelling like smoke the room and bed was not good
4.5 Okay
Pros: Beds were OK
Cons: Room was not clean. There were brown stains in several places on the bathroom wall. The floor overall was so dirty I had to scrub my feet after walking barefoot and the washcloth was filthy after. Also the toilet had a weird elevated seat and no lid which I found disturbing and unsanitary.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location was great for our reason for the trip. Staff was friendly. Easy access into my room, no fighting with a card. Parking was in abundance so I never have to worry about a spot.
Cons: The double beds were very small and so uncomfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on wood slats and after a 7 hour drive, and two long days walking at Six Flags, all I wanted to do was sleep on a comfortable bed. I could also hear every single time a door would close outside my room, so it would wake me up. The bathroom appeared to have some updates done but the shower area was very disappointing. The curtains were broken and I had to Macgyver a way to keep them closed. I also was under the impression they had breakfast as their webpage stated they did. Do not be fooled, there was no breakfast.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Close to Rein's Deli. Pets welcome.
Cons: Very poor wi-fi. Uncomfortable bed and pillows.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
5.5 Okay
Pros: Nothing

1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness of room and hotel are not fit for human living conditions
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfy!
Cons: Breakfast just seemed to be a constant running out of everything. When it was restocked it was the bare minimum. 3 yogurts, 2 muffins, half a pan of scrambled eggs, etc. There was still 1.5 hours left til it ended. In the end, didn't get enough to eat.
7.5 Good
Cons: Pool was cold
4.5 Okay
Pros: The size of the bed
Cons: The sheets were dirty, there was food left in the microwave and the front desk staff wasn't too friendly or always available.
7.0 Good
Pros: The in room coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.
Cons: I requested a "Do Not Disturb" sign three times and never received it. May I suggest a "Do Not Disturb" sign be placed in every room so that people who want to use them can.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great
5.8 Okay
Pros: I will say my sheets smelled of bleach a small comfort.
Cons: You are threatened with a $200 charge if you smoke in your room but my room and hallway reeked of cigarettes. The front of the property is clean but if you use any side doors you will see cigarette butts everywhere along with empty liquor bottles and snack trash. I was there for 2 days and so was a bottle of Hennessy and salt and vinegar chips. Friday night people were slamming doors and basically partying well after 2am. The pool was full, full with children and few adults whenever I passed by.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was ok, not bad. The location seemed to be in the middle of nowhere though. I'd stay here again if I had to. Would be nice for it to be a better breakfast .
Cons: breakfast wasn't that much. same stuff each morning I was there. need coffee 24/7 though. pool could be open longer with more towels available. the property needs to be maintained really needs up keep outside. old dirty coffee cup outside my window.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Did not clean my room 1 day also the bathroom another day. Hallways were filthy. Staff helpful always.
5.5 Okay
Cons: It needed to be painted the rooms.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location, desk staff and breakfast staff
Cons: Dirtiness of hotel and filthy room. Carpet is rotted and mildew mold heavy smells!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, the breakfast was nice and hot.
Cons: The hotel defiantly needs some upgrades and the pool was very cloudy and dirty and tile falling apart. The room was moldy smelling.

Motel 6 Hartford - Enfield is located just off I-91 in the beautiful city of Enfield. This location features complimentary fresh brewed coffee, a coin laundry facility and free unlimited local phone calls. Free Wi-Fi available in all of our modern rooms.
3.1 Mediocre
Cons: No breakfast is offered, I asked for the customer service number to place a complaint the cashier guy said “I don’t have, look it up” facilities were evidently smoke allowed. Little to none in care for our experience. I’ve been to other motel 8 in Buffalo, NY., Rochester, NY., Springfield, MA and I’ve been satisfied with those visits, with this location specially IM NOT. When I asked where is the breakfast in the morning the guy said “coffee is breakfast” I’m like what type of breakfast is coffee? No lotion, no shampoo/conditioner, towels were disgusting, luckily I had brought extra clothes, that’s how I had to dry up !!
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location right off the highway.
Cons: Everything else. This was the first and last time I will stay at this hotel......
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: We had to ask for new sheets to change our bed. Had crumbs on the sheet. Holes in the walls, and the floor had puddled of water. We ended up leaving.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff is very friendly.
Cons: The property definitely needs some TLC,when you arrive you will see lots of peeling paint and cracked walkways .
5.5 Okay
Pros: staff was friendly and nice
Cons: Building needs a make over old building smell in the rooms old bed sheets rusty stairway loud air conditioner just not what I expected
4.3 Okay
Pros: The fact it was only 10 mins from six flags and when we complain the front desk did his best to accomendate us
Cons: The rooms was horrible and not clean and we had lil bugs in our room. The sheets smell not clean. The electrical sockets didn't work properly..but if u want a quick lay ya head down this is the spot for you.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The only good thing going for this particular Motel6 was that it was in our price range & close to Interstate 91 & a few places to eat breakfast. Other than that I did not find too many good things with this Motel.
Cons: The website for this motel stated that every room had a kitchen in it & hot coffee in the morning, there was not even a small refrigerator to keep things cold & there was no coffee. The room was literally the size of 2 double beds. The room was not cleaned well as there were strands of hair in the beds & on the sink that did not belong to anyone of us that were staying in the room. Was awakened at 12:30AM by a domestic altercation in the room next to us with thumping & something hitting the wall above my head. Will not stay here again.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Price and Location
Cons: Beds were hard as rocks (and I like my bed on the firmer side). My son's headboard was falling off the wall. WiFi didn't work consistently, kept cutting in and out.Televisions remote control didn't work, so we couldn't change channel or adjust volume. I'm a realist and I know what to expect from a Motel 6 but this was a tad bit subpar.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, went to six flags was close and easy to get to! Staff was friendly.
Cons: Room was very small, good for short stay and only couple people. No microwave or fridge.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location people where nice
Cons: I could see outside above my heater. The door Dident shut all the way leaving a gap so you could see out side there too there was a suport on the way to my room that looked to be rotted out
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel needs to be renovated... We felt unsafe.. A major disappointment.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: I like that the motel was close to shopping center if I wanted to shop. Other than that I didn't like much about the room could've been because my room was close to the stairwell and could constant activity late at night.
Cons: I saw baby roaches in room when I got up to shower. Also saw spiders on shower curtain. I only booked the room because there were no other hotel rooms close to where I was visit. Also expected more for the price!!!

Pros: Great price, microwave and fridge,, easy access from local family houses, not far from a diner.
Cons: Fan blew cigarette smelling air and rattled. Dead fly.
6.8 Good
Cons: The WIFI connection was basically non-existent even though management came to room and tried to get a signal. I left after first night of two night booking as I had to have internet access. Management was very cooperative as to my leaving and refunded $ for 2nd night.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Freezing cold and heat in room not on Decrepit facility Old lumpy bef
7.0 Good
Pros: We slept good in the room.
Cons: 3 things: The toilet seat was loose fitting on the toilet, the comforter was very thin, and there was no ice bucket available, possibly no ice machine period. The staff gave us 2 cups of ice.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The only reason I stayed at this hotel is it was the only one close to the Mansfield Drive Inn. If I didn't want to show my son a drive inn I would have divine off after seeing the condition ethos hotel.
Cons: My room had two wires sticking out of the ceiling. I think that is where the smoke detector should have been. When my son stood up from the toilet the toilet fell. It wasn't attached to the floor. Large sections of the siding was missing.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing about the hotel inside or outside I liked.
Cons: Requested a non smoking room and was given a smoking rom. it had an ash tray in the room and smelled of cigarette smell. TV clarity was terrible. Outside security lock was broken, so no security. I was probably charged extra for the king size bed because he told me I was booked into a one double room which was upstairs and I wanted downstairs. He then told the charge would be $102. When I booked the charge was just in the 50's and with the tax a little over 60's. I agreed to pay $20 for my pet. That should have been in the $80's but my payment was in the 90's. The place looked like a dump. If this hotel want to be linked to Wyndham organization it need more then using Wyndham ''s good name to pull in customers.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The property is close to many restaurants (including a fantastic diner just next door) and a short 20 mins to UConn.
Cons: The property needs a good cleaning and some general maintenance. Our bathroom door didn’t close well, the vent in the bathroom was very dirty, tub/shower was clean but showed signs of hard water staining. Carpet was also dirty, and walking on it without shoes resulted in dirty feet. It is one of the few hotels in the area... with some general maintenance and a deep clean, this place would’ve rated higher.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Literally nothing
Cons: Literally everything
5.5 Okay
Pros: The Diner next door was great
Cons: I didn't like the holes in the sheets, the pool never worked, staff had attitude.
6.0 Good
Pros: It has microwave and fridge
Cons: Gap space under door. Patio door did not open. Bathroom wasn't too clean. Cigarette burn on comforter.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Booked because hotel advertised a pool. Owners claim they are working on it. Looked like it hadn't been used in months. Shower curtain rail falling off. Breakfast was pitsy!!
1.0 Poor
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Terrible! Dirty, things didn't work, burn holes in blanket, sink clogged, garbage in basket,co2 monitor hanging off wall with wires exposed, refrige. frozen, phone not working. We had to ask multiple times for towels, toilet paper, etc. Would not stay here again.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: I would not recommend staying here. There were dead bugs on the caroet. The bathroom was not clean. The placement of furniture covered up the wall mirror. There was a glass door in the hall boarded with cardboard. I did not like that my family had to stay here because of sold out rooms in the area while traveling through on a 30 hour drive.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: It was old and not well kept. Advertised Pool open. Pool was closed and green .with worn patio chairs. When I addressed this with staff at desk . She said it was open but not this weekend. No signs this pool has been open in a long time.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Furniture was broken, walls were bare and a back door glass was missing and covered up with cardboard, a real security risk.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Ive stopped here for a while now. Its not far from some fun bars and nice restaurants. The place is overall clean, beds are comfy. You get what you pay for, not always the best of people who are staying there could be a little sketchy. But its cheap and clean enough!
Cons: I think i was a little annoyed when I called the front desk for an iron. The man replied they are in the room, which I replied but mine is not here. (They have an iron holder on the wall and it was empty) He proceeded to tell me theres nothing he can do it should be in the room. I actually felt bad after but I got extremely mad as my outfit was wrinkled and I had plans for dinner. A few short minutes there was an older man Im guessing who worked there, knock on my door with an iron. No ironing board.. I made do.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The hotel areas need to be more clean . The hotel and rooms had an strong smell of cigarrete I need to buy Lysol and Febreeze for my room. Sometime have insects during the nigh in the room.

Pros: There was a very very nice young lady at the front desk and she was absolutely just a wonderful help
Cons: The fact that they accused my family and I of smoking then found out it wasn't us and still wouldn't renew my rooms after I was there for 3 days
