Pros: The owner was very courteous, friendly and honest. When we checked in to get our cabin, we were accidentally charged more and he took the time to quickly notify us with the issue and resolved it without problems. Overall great experience.
Cons: Some pictures were a little misleading. We were expecting to get a cabin with a jacuzzi but we got a cabin with a stand-up shower. I guess some features are exclusive to certain cabins but it was not specified.
Some things that are helpful: There is stuff to cook with, cooking sheets plates, dinning wear, cups and wine glasses. Bring pot holders, there are hand towels and dish soap. You need a wine bottle opener. Bring a lighter for the fire and extra camp chairs. Bring an extra blanket we would that having our own would have been a little better. The owner is wonderful a great guy and very helpful and works hard to make your experience the best. Being on the water is wonderful, there is also an area for children to play. Overall, we will be returning.
Pros: The location, away from the crowd in Lake George, but not too far away. The location of the hotel is gorgeous and the cabin was so useful for cooking and hanging out. We really enjoyed the campfire and the water very pretty.
Cons: You should expect the rooms to be a little out of date, it should be cleaned a little better lots of spider webs. The other thing that we did not like is that where our bedroom was there was a outdoor light that keep shining in.

Pros: Located close to a wedding we were attending at the Lodge at Echo Lake
Cons: Checking was at two, we arrived at three in the room wasn't ready yet. We were quoted $77 a night (+$10 booking fee) through KAYAK but they wanted to charge us $110. We still ended up paying too much ($97) and paid taxes twice. The check in took so long and we actually ran late for the wedding. The room was clean but smelled very strongly of old, stale smoke. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was okay. The room was hot and the air conditioner didn't work. But it was September so it may be that it was just turned off for the season(it happened to bean usually warm weekend.)
