Pros: Very comfortable, nice views, very friendly host, great rooms, huge kitchen, very close to the ferry, here you can stay for a while and relax and enjoy the mountains
Cons: Nothing, just wheather on one Day was not so good
Pros: The apartment is exceptional as one doesnt need to venture out for Aurora Borealis as. Its located almost 200 meters from the pier. Out of 6 nights stay we were fortunate to view the northern lights from the apartment windows and the outside area. What a site and location it has. Excellent. Wonderful. We had one of our best stay.
Pros: Clean and confortable. The owner is a nice person and helping us.
Pros: We had a fantastic stay on the farm house and the views from the house was magnificent
Cons: Nothing! Everything was great
Pros: superb host, superb view from the window, well designed traditional house and im in love with the kitchen ware, u can find anything u need, and the unforgettable moment is, we saw the northern lights appears just like that on top of this house, so thankful
Pros: House owner Heidi and Jan are just very friendly and helpful. They asked our flight time and recommended the vessel schedule we should take. They had provided some basic information around the area which some of other properties don't. For location, actually it's a bit far from Tromso city center. It takes about one and a half hour taking vessel and road drive to city center. This property would be more appropriate for travellers who have rent a car. Since it is a bit far from the city center, light pollution here is less which make it a really great place for chasing Aurora! So it depends on your purpose for the stay. At the light we saw the Aurora, Jan even came out and shut the spotlight down outside the house. We stayed here for 3 nights, we were lucky enough to have seen pretty high quality Northern Lights on the last two nights, photos as attached.
Cons: There is no restaurant/market/shopping area nearby, you have to take 1.5hour going to the city center to buy food. But it's do good we bought all the food we would need on the second day when we went out Tromso joining the dog sledding activity, then we just stayed at the house the last day without going anywhere for some rest before our trip end. There is a kitchen with all the necessary cooking equipment and oven.
Pros: Very comfortable, well equipped house in a quiet place. Nice views. You can admire northern lights just looking out the windows.

Pros: Clean, different from other stays....
Pros: Very good staff with family-owned spirit, was converted from a school and now functions as a hotel. Premises are very big. There is still a ballroom and kitchen. Views are also very nice of the fjord and a good location for seeing northern lights. Bathrooms are located down the hall. Some renovation works are still in process here and eventually the hotel experience will probably be even better.
Pros: Location, staff, full kitchen available and the view of the northern lights from your window :-)
Cons: All perfectly ok !!!
Pros: Amazing food und super nice hosts. Central location and great base for ski tours. Good exchange with other guests on snow and weather conditions. Really enjoyed the stay!
Pros: Great place to stay !
Pros: (1) Perfect location for ski-touring: Halfway between northern and southern Lyngen Alps, 5 minutes from ferry to Olderdalen to also do tours there, sports shop and supermarket around the corner, free views onto the fjord and of Northern Lights when any are to be seen. (2) Great to meet many other ski tourers to discuss tours and experiences. (3) Free choice to either do breakfast and dinner yourself in the sufficiently large kitchen or enjoy the excellent provided meals, which we tried once and found it high-quality, enough for hungry ski tourers and good value for money. (4) Helpful, friendly hosts! Mathieu can furthermore provide much helpful advice on local tours.

Pros: Only good thing was the location, parking and big room.
Cons: Bfast started at 10, that way too late for active outdoor people, bathroom was a mess and I think the whole room was suffering from mole. All clothes was stinking and did not get dry.
Pros: I liked the home cooked meals at night and the hot water was hot!
Cons: The shower leaked onto the floor.
Pros: Ola is a fine host. Very friedly and keen to give his guests a great experience. Very good value for money. Good breakfast and dinners prepared with fresh produce (we experienced none of the horrors described by the clearly disgruntled EX staff member.
Cons: Small lounge locked off during the day.
