Attentive and pleasant staff. Delightfully decorated, large, comfortable rooms.
Lovely interior design, very nice breakfast and really helpful hotel staff. Not very easy to be found.
Riad Tafilag was a welcome Oasis for our first night in Morocco. Taroudant itself is a bustling vibrant place, but the Riad is a haven of peace and tranquility. We felt really cared for and every detail was thought of. The Moroccon decor was stunning. We will definitely be recommending this place!
The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Ben, in particular, went out of his way to make us feel welcome and ensure everything was as convenient as possible.
the hospitality of hassan- a true gem! We felt truely at home and welcomed.
An opportunity to be pampered in an ideal getaway from it all break.
it is a very quiet stay, you wake up & have your coffee in a beautiful garden with the birds singing around you, the way the bungalos are set makes it very private so you feel free to just have your breakfast on the terrasse with your shorts & tee, te staff is very friendly & willing to assist you in everything you might & as we were leaving the manager knew we had a long car trip to take to the south so he asked them to prepare sandwiches for us for the road, a very kind & appreciated gesture, if ever in Taroudant that's the best place to stay in, next time i wont even bother to look up hotels in Taroudant, straight to Riad Dar Zitoune. absolutely nothing, i've enjoyed my stay there till the last minute
Fabulous gardens, setting and room. Staff very helpful. very relaxed and quiet. nothing
The staff were excellent. All very friendly and helpful and nothing wad rooming trouble.
The bungalow and garden The cooked food was mediocre to poor. A shame, because we liked everything else about Dar Zitoune
Really really nice hotel in the middle of an otherwise rather desolate area of Morocco. After driving through the Atlas mountains and roaming the streets of Taroudannt, arriving in Dar Zitoune is kind of like arriving in paradise. Excellent and tastefully decorated rooms which include all amenities of top Western hotels, wonderful garden and pool, great staff. Not much to do in the surrounding area.
The place is a gorgeous retreat, very pretty and peaceful, and had a lovely pool. We were the only guests and it seemed somewhat rundown. However, they may have just been preparing for their busy season. Also, when we arrived there was a problem with the electricity, we had none for the first night, so this lowered our score. Having said this, the atmosphere with just candles in the middle of a beautiful courtyard was truly special.
