Pros. It was as advertised
Cons. The bed wasn’t comfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. We had to wait nearly ten minutes at the front desk before anyone even acknowledged we were there to check in and there was no way to alert anyone to our presence (a bell maybe?).
Pros. We came to the area with no firm plans for accommodations. We chose this property from brand familiarity. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again if we return to the area in the future. The property is conveniently located to shopping, dining and the interstate.
Cons. Visibility of entrance from main road was hard to see.
Pros. We liked that it was easy to get to and check in and out and their breakfast was good
Cons. The bed was very uncomfortable and so were the pillows it was very loud no insulation between rooms
Pros. My husband booked a room for me. I arrive to check in and since he is not present and needed to be due to credit card being in his name I can't check in. The reseptionist told me if i were to go through a third party and book a room I wouldn't have an issue then and then I'll be able to check in and stay. So after cancling my $459.00 transaction, I rebooked and spent $544.00 just to be told AGAIN that I cannot occupy the room due to the credit card that I needed to leave on file was in my husbands name. Even after telling me I would be able to stay basically lying to me I was out of $1003.00 till they refund me my money. After all of that I had to figure out a way to get more money to stay elsewhere which was another $400.00. It was an inconvience and a HORRIBLE experience. Will never stay at another La Quainta. And this isn't standard policy. I've been able to check in at other locations without the card holder present.
Cons. Everything.
Pros. The room was very clean, the location was perfect, checking out was fast, decent breakfast, some of the staff was courtesy.
Cons. Our room wasn't ready at check-in, we got put on the 3rd floor and we were told to try to keep our 3 year old from jumping or making to much noise.
Pros. It was convenient that there was a computer and printer at front. They happily faxed a document for me.
Cons. The freeway was close to outside of my room. It didn't bother me but for those who are noise sensitive might want to request room facing other way.
Cons. We stayed on the 2nd floor next to the elevators and the laundry room, we could hear all sorts of noise through all the walls and from above us. They should just keep that room vacant until they put more sound barriers.
