Thionville Hotels

A lovely old chateau that has been modernized inside. Staying in November the flowers in the gardens were no longer in bloom. Not a popular time for hotel guests either. When using a GPS you have to drive farther that the GPS tells you.

historical building placed in beautiful park outside the city, free wifi, quiet area the only thing i had to be carefull was my head, since ceiling in part of my room was quite low (one can expect such thing in historical building like that, however, lowering my head everytime i go bathroom is not very convenient)

Food was quite good but very pricey lack of air conditioning

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Very central to the Restaurants etc. Easy to get to from the motorway etc. Parking is a bit hit and miss and you have to pay during daytime hours.

The location near the city centre and distance from the highway We stayed in room 103.However the bathroom was recently updated, we find some moisture in the bath/wall edges etc.The toilet was not solid mounted on the floor.

Easy to find, cheap and cheerful motel, room adeqaute with tv & kettle, restaurant handy. Restaurant meal of lamb a 'special' was too chewy but my friend's cheese omlette was excellent.

You know what you are getting when you stay at a Campanle Hotel. They are usually situated on the edge of a town which makes finding the location easier than at an Ibis which are usually located within a town/city and there is always a restaurant which makes for a pleasant ending after a long day of driving. The air-conditioning in the bedroom was super! During the day we had temperatures of 36 degrees c and the room would have been a furnace otherwise. The complimentary coffee in the room was awful, in fact, it was worse than awful, I have had some bad coffee in my time but it took the biscuit!!!! Talking of biscuits - why are there no packets of biscuits in the room as they once were? It was one of the things that we looked forward to when we arrived - a cup of reasonable coffee and a biscuit before a shower and a relaxing meal in the restaurant.

The meals were excellent and good value. Fully booked - so popular.
