Pros: ...at the outback of Thisted, among open fields under open skies finding this welcoming hospitable ex-farm with generous hosts was a gentle surprise !

Pros: We had a very comfy room and our own bathroom in a lovely spacious and clean house with a charming host. The location was great for us and very quiet. Additionally a very tasty breakfast was provided by the host.

Cons: It was not the host's fault, but the road was being recovered at the time of our stay, so parking had to be a short walk away from the property. However, the host kindly helped us with our luggage.

Cons: Room had no facilities for a business traveller. Had to use the living room. Breakfast was very simple. No privcay.

Pros: Amazing stay. The host made us immediately feel as at home. Great home, perfect cleanliness, and incredible hospitality. We had an awesome dinner along with other guests: it was the best evening of the entire holiday. Super breakfast as well. Thank you Erlig and we will definitely be back if we return to Denmark. L&G

Pros: Spacy bedroom, living room with piano, tv etc. Breakfast is basic but OK. Very quiet and clean. Friendly owner with hilarious stories.

Pros: The sociability of the place really made it for us. The owner has led an amazingly varied and interesting life and he loves to tell you all about it (in perfect English). There were several other private guests staying at the same time, mostly regular business visitors - some local, some international but all spoke very good English. We were all encouraged to use the kitchen and lounge as our own, (we did have private sleeping and shower area), and we enjoyed the evening of wine and conversation. Erling treated the guests like family and was very generous. It was in a lovely area, there were beautiful walks from the house, and it was very well placed for the Thy National Park, and the local town of Thisted.

Cons: It didn't really bother us, but the house is also home to cats which have the run of the kitchen and lounge. (Not in our room whilst we were there!). They were well behaved and did not worry us for attention, but they did stray onto tables and worktops.

Cons: The room was small and tired in a separate annex from the main building. The shower in the bathroom was poor. Somewhat overpriced for what you received.

Cons: Not all rooms had private bathrooms. When the B&B was fully occupied, which only happened my last night, this caused some delays. Maybe create separate toilets?

Pros: Great place in the middle of the rough nature. Right between the rough seas ( with surfers, windsurfers and kite surfers) and the wast Heather/coast areas of the national park.

Pros: Room was nice and big. Comfortable bathroom with separate shower. The food at the restaurant at night, and for breakfast, was good but quite expensive. The foot-spa was a nice treat.

Cons: Located too far from the beach. The person who attended us was very nice and friendly, but she was the only one knowing some English.

Pros: Very clean hostel, awesome help from local staff finding shops and facilities. Has a laundry room to do wash if you need to.

Pros: This facility is immediately adjacent to the beautiful Fjord and in the town of Thisted . The Reception personnel are very friendly and helpful . Both Henrik and Pia at reception were absolutely wonderful- very helpful and very cheerful as well as quite fluent in English which is wonderful for those of us who are Danish challenged . Good bike inside storage . Rooms are clean and bright - certainly not modern but comfortable and functional. Great views of the fjord from the windows. Very quiet and peaceful area . A short bit out of town but walking distance to markets and restaurants. The on-site restaurant is devoid of ambience and the fixed price menu was lackluster but the view of the fjord through the very large windows was quite nice . Breakfast ( included ) was good with abundant food choices . They are slowly making building improvements , the staff is very pleasant and attentive plus the breakfast is quite good . All in all this is a nice place to spend the night . Just go out for dinner elsewhere on a fixed menu evening . Sent from my iPhone

Cons: Only notable weakness is the dinner fixed price menu at the on-site restaurant. Perhaps when the menu is full the food is better .

Pros: Excellent location and through a good deal it was good value for money. The room I stayed in was clean and the breakfast was good.

Cons: The room was a bit dated and gave the impression that it was from the 80'es og 90'es and in need of an update. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room and I had to get the iron and ironing board down the hall (not a big issue but sometimes they are in the rooms). Also the ironing board was coming apart.

Pros: There were rooms for pets too

Cons: You could not have cold water or stuff like medicine which should be kept cold at the room.
