Pros: My mother and I were in town to visit with and elderly and unwell family member. Accommodations at your hotel were perfectly suited for this occasion.
The entire staff were friendly and helpful. I would like to make a special note stating that Alan, the maintenance person, was especially kind and compassionate. Firstly, noticing that my elderly mother was about to walk down a recently mopped floor, he quickly walked over, offered his sturdy arm for support and escorted her so that she did not fall. It was so kind and helpful. He checked in on us a few times to ensure that we had all we needed. Additionally, Bill at the front desk made us feel very welcome after a long and emotional day. We decided to eat our dinner in the lobby, in front of the fireplace. He was very helpful and friendly.
The staff at this particular hotel were wonderful. We thank you.
Cons: My mother and I cannot eat gluten. We would like to suggest the addition of perhaps some gluten free breakfast choices. For example, gf cereal and gf bread. Otherwise, breakfast was sufficient.

Pros: The hotel staff demonstrated the traits that all individuals in hospitality should show. They were friendly, caring and helpful. Any issues that did arise were resolved immediately. Truly a wonderful hotel that we plan on staying at next time we're in Frederick.
Pros: Everything about my stay was great. Clean rooms, close to a lot of restaurants and activities.
Cons: I'm 20 years old, and I didn't know it would be an issue checking in. I was still allowed to check in, even though I wasn't 21, but I would have liked to know this ahead of time. Not a huge deal, and it didn't ruin my trip in any way, but if I wasn't allowed to check in it would have.

Pros: I was there for a wedding. I would have given 5 stars, but the staff at the restaurant the next morning at brunch was rude on two occasions.
Cons: Brunch staff wasn't the most friendly.
Cons: Staff was rude and unaccommodating during check-in and check-out. At one point, an older receptionist (redhaired) made an underhanded comment about 'those orientals' when referring to another group of guests.

Cons: The air conditioner did not work well. Room was on warmer side even though air was as low as could go
Pros: I enjoyed the clean room, number of towels they provided. In addition breakfast was great and staff friendly.
Pros: The location was great. We were able to walk to everything from food to shopping.
Cons: The night staff wasn't very knowledgeable of the area which is a problem when you're trying to find a place to eat or at least somewhere that will deliver.
Pros: The front desk was amazing and the help staff were awesome! Very helpful and willing to listen to problems. Beds and pillows were comfy and the lo action is relatively close to downtown.
Cons: Roomed looked like an older version of what the pics showed in kayak.
Pros: bed, shower, sound insulation, wifi, climate-control, endless suburban mall all around, free coffee/tea in the lobby at all times.
Cons: rare pokemon all around - none in the hotel!!
the free cookies in the lobby are quite terrible.
that's all the bad things I can think of!!
Cons: Having stayed in 3 different Country Inns and Suites this week alone, the Frederick location was the most expensive and least satisfying. The room was 1/2 to 2/3 the size of other locations. There was minimal room to have luggage out and space to set up the iron board. The refrigerator was smaller, missing wire shelves, and no ice box. The Sleep Inn right down the street is 20% cheaper.
Pros: Room was nice.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't good. Coffee was bad. Eggs and sausage were cold. We grabbed 2 bagels and both were MOLDY!
Pros: Everything I need was right there didn't have to ask for anything.
Pros: Price was right. Seemed clean.
Cons: You could tell that the nonsmoking room had been smoked in before.
Pros: Friendly, courteous, helpful, great value for the money, complete breakfast and forever coffee and cookies (super). Looking for other Country Inns to visit!
Cons: Not a d*#@ed thing!
Pros: Manager Lee was very kind when I requested to switch room because of noise of air condition unit. She provide the good room for our family.
Manger Chris was great as well. My family and I enjoyed staying at the hotel.
Breakfast was good.
Pros: Value for price is the thing here. Comparatively closer to a Hampton Inn than a Motel 6.
Cons: Internet connectivity.
Located near a train station, Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Frederick, MD is a great choice for a stay in Frederick. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and hot/cold buffet breakfast on weekdays between 6 AM and 9:30 AM. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with flat-screen TVs and premium bedding.
Pros: Clean and convenient to highway and shopping.
Pros: It's a nice clean hotel with a nice little breakfast area
Cons: TV did not work I called front desk. The lady was nice she told me she was coming up to check on it. hours went by she called around 9 I was sleep she said she forgot. So I payed --- for no tv and the plug next to my bed on the lamp didn't work either
Pros: Location was decent, breakfast was good.
Cons: Very disappointed to see that the hotel had no hot tub even though it advertised as having one. I booked the hotel based on the hot tub and pool as I have a bad back and don't have an opportunity to use a hot tub often. I would have booked another hotel.
Pros: The breakfast was great. The room was pretty nice. The staff was nice.
Cons: The bed mattress was a little hard. The TV remote had no batteries. The thermostat for the heater was way off and the room tended to be too hot - we had to put on a/c to get it down to an OK temperature.
Pros: Breakfast variety and staff responsiveness
Pros: clean, very professional staff
Pros: This hotel was by far the nicest of our trip. The cleanliness, color scheme throughout, superb breakfast, and, most importantly, the genuine friendliness of all we came in contact with, were special. Should be a three star. Many thanks for having us
Pros: I liked the location...
Cons: I didn't like the fact that after I checked in they kept calling my room and harassing my children for a 20$ essential fee, that was in fact swiped at time of check in... I was told that the girls was new but yet asked for it again by the lady in charge
Pros: Clean.Close to shopping and restaurants.Breakfast we reasonable.I didn't use the fitness center or the pool so I can't comment on them.
Cons: There wasn't anything that disappointed me.
This hotel has employees who have not been properly trained. The manager was never in or atleast that is what i was always told. Besides the mess up with the extra $110 charge everything else was fine when it came to the actual room, but my boyfriend was concerned how he never received his $46 incidental fee and its been over a week since we last stayed. We were also confused about the difference in how they determine the incidental charge.
Cons: I had a terrible experience at this hotel my credit card was charged an additional $110 along with the $40 incidental fee that i was aware of, The additional $110 was a mistake the guy who checked me in made. I spent vday stressing over money i need
Pros: The staff was very nice & helpful. The Breakfast buffet was great.

Pros: Staff was very friendly, breakfast great, clean rooms, comfortable bed, and nice accommodations!
Cons: The streets to get from 279 are a bit confusing but Hampton can't be responsible for that I suppose!
Pros: Modern decor, clean, spacious room with a nice view. Quiet rooms. The bed was very comfy. Nice shower and complimentary accessories. Breakfast was good with choices for everyone.
During a family reunion, we were able to stay there and meet other out of town relatives. Staff allowed us to have everyone meet in the lobby restaurant seating area at night for a get together.
Loved the water flavored with fresh fruit in the lobby and the cookies!
Outside deck area and pool were nicely designed. Friendly staff.
Cons: The restaurant in the gazebo, overlooking the small marsh area with birds, has so much potential. It is in a pretty setting, but going inside to look at dinner options, the music was incredibly loud. There were also wall to wall TVs with sports and not much seating area except for the bar. We finally ordered some food and drinks and the server brought it to us outside on the deck.
Inside the hotel, rooms were quiet, but unfortunately, located next to a very busy highway, the road noise is unavoidable.
Pros: Room were big and comfy breakfast was plentiful and filling and food staff was nice and polite
Cons: My room was not ready by a long shot. Sink was dirty covered in what I can only describe as a black/grayish grime very nasty we decided to brush teeth inside bath tub. There where non of the usual complimentary toiletries. Also they may need a security guard at night there was a car with a busted window... Not sure if it was like that or not but it gave me the wrong vibes...
Pros: The room was a good size so that you could move around comfortably. The location was convenient to the main route during travel.
Cons: The bathroom door opened very close to the toilet but was fine for our family.
Pros: Wonderful breakfast buffet, helpful staff, readily accommodated my request for a late checkout!
Pros: It was a pleasant stay. Every one was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The food was hot.

Pros: Hotel staff was nice, wick check in, clean room.
Pros: I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. The food was hot, tasty, and plentiful. The variety and freshness was terrific. The housekeeping staff was respectful of "do not disturb" signs and prepared the room nicely each day.
Cons: I didn't like the inability to have towels and bed linens retained during my stay. Many of the hotels and other Comfort Inns have a "towel on the hook/towel on the floor" program. Although I am not completely sure, the bed linens were changed each day of my five day stay--I liked having the bed made, but felt that changing sheets daily was unnecessary. I was surprised the hotel did not have these "green" programs. I am always skeptical of hotel carpeting and its cleanliness--the Comfort Inn Frederick was no exception.
Pros: The initial greeting was very pleasant and my room was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was a pleasant experience.

Pet accommodation: 10.00/night per pet. Pet limit: 2 pets per room.
Pros: Convenient access to highway and close to restaurants.
Did not seem like a three star. When I placed a do not disturb sign on the door on Sunday afternoon, they did not knock but telephoned my room to see if I wanted it cleaned, there as no malice intended by the cleaning staff, just need more training.
Pros: Location fit my needs
Cons: Restaurant menu was weak and not so good given the prices. They were pulling frozen food out of the freezer and microwaving.
Cons: found black mold on wall near window behind curtain. Desk apologized on check out but seemed unconcerned.
Pros: Room was clean and attractive. Good location near stores, highway access.
Cons: Doesn't merit the 3 stars. Only 1 comfortable chair in room for 2 people. No end table to put a drink/computer on. Lacking friendly amenities like all day free coffee, afternoon cookies. Courtyard brand doesn't have breakfast included like Residence Inn.
Pros: It was nice no sink in bathrooms
Pros: The room was great. The bed was very comfortable and the king suite was quite large. Having an indoor pool was a wonderful amenity, and I appreciated the free WiFi and parking.
Cons: The staff was very rude. They were not busy at all, but just could not be bothered. Any time we asked for help with anything, they were annoyed and put out. We asked for a room upgrade upon arrival and it took them about 30 minutes to figure it out.
Pros: We slept so soundly, thanks to the wonderful mattress and bedding. The room was comfortable and allowed us to relax after a long day of driving.
Pros: The price was right and it was close to the place I was visiting
Pros: Room layout was excellent--the space felt luxurious. The built-in bedside tables had outlets on the wall sconces--great for charging, of course, but for me and my CPAP machine, the outlet meant no furniture rearranging necessary--a godsend. Staff-great!
Cons: The plastic grass in the bar downstairs looks cool from a distance, but up close, it's kind of tacky.
Pros: The location, the cleanliness, and the convenience of where I need to go
Cons: Didn't offer complimentary breakfast

Pros: The room was very clean and the location was great.
Cons: The bathroom fan/vent started to make a horrible smell the last day and night we were there, to avoid it we kept bathroom door shut, but it was a pretty bad smell.
Pros: It was clean, quiet and comfortable and I slept very well! In fact I even 'slept in at the Sleep in!' What else could you ask for...
Pros: The cleaning staff were all very friendly, as was the checkout staff at the desk.
Cons: The fan in the bathroom made a loud noise, but it wasn't a big deal.
Pros: The staff
Pros: beds comfy, staff great, breakfast good.
Pros: Everything was wonderful
Cons: The breakfast staff is very mean and nasty
Pros: The price of the hotel and location.
Cons: The small breakfast area gets very crowded and the very basic food offerings.
Cons: Dark room
Pros: Clean and neat amenities were as posted.
Pros: the location to the francis scott key mall, target, and the transit bus line which made it easy and efficient to get around town without a rental car
Cons: the continental breakfast was a little lacking, but all in all a good experience
Pros: Inexpensive yet clean and nice
Pros: It was clean even though it was under construction and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh!
Cons: Everything was great!

Pros: I picked this place because of proximity to Liberty Resort and it is perfect. A small, no frills, simple place that you need for that last minute ski trip. The staff was also accommodating to my late check in. The rooms were very clean.
Pros: just size smaller, everything great
Pros: This place was perfect! Inexpensive, quiet, and cute!
Pros: Very clean. Very nice staff.
Cons: No complaints.
It is located along Lee's retreat from Gettysburg. Jack's Mountain looms in the distance. It's a great location.
Pros: It was quiet; VERY quiet.
Cons: Nope! Perfectly happy with it.
Pros: Price, convenience to Gettysburg, was quiet, beautiful yard.
Cons: Air conditioning was not adequate no matter how far down I turned it. Had to ask for clean towels the first morning.
Pros: Neat, clean, well-kept room. Comfortable bed. Lovely grounds, trees, picnic tables. Convenient location near Gettysburg. Helpful staff. Fridge, microwave. Free parking/wi-fi/coffee. Furnishings are older/rustic which gives it a charming retro air.
Cons: For me, nothing not to like. I like furnishings from an earlier period and consider them charming. If you are looking for a sleek ultra-modern decor, you will be disappointed. But, for me --- neat, clean, well-kept, comfortable --- and I'm a happy guy.
Pros: The room was very clean, very neat, and provided everything and more that any of the higher end hotels offer. My family was completely satisfied.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: This is an older motel and does need updated. However, it was very clean and neat, flowers outside each room, beds were comfortable and the owner does her best to make sure you have everything you need. Would stay again.
Pros: Shower area was clean, although entire bathroom wasn't clean. Microwave worked.
Cons: Originally I was supposed to stay for 2 nights. But I was in a car accident on the way down there. I ended up paying $1000 for me car. And even though I called and let them know the day of, they still made me pay for both nights, on the 2nd day.
Pros: It was a motel. 10 rooms and nothing else offered
Cons: When we arrived we didn't even know where the office was. Turns put it was in the house behind where we were staying
I would stay here again in a heartbeat! It was super clean and smelled good. The room was fine. All we did was sleep and shower there. The owners were nice and the grounds were pretty.
Pros: The room was clean and smelled good. The owners were really nice. It was only about 9 miles from Gettysburg, which I didn't mind to save a ton of money.
Surrounded by beautiful Fairfield countryside, this family owned motel is 8 miles west of historic Gettysburg. Every traditionally styled room offers a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Liberty Mountain Resort, which offers skiing and golfing, is within 1 miles of the Fairfield Lodge. The East Coast Exotic Animal Rescue is 5 minutes away by car. Harrisburg International Airport is an hour's drive from the motel. Free public parking is available on site.
Cons: We know what to expect from a 2 star hotel. However...the hotel needs an overhaul. Popcorn ceilings, frayed wallpaper. Hallway smelled like smoke and so did the stairwell. Coffee did run out at breakfast but was quickly replaced. Bathroom mirrors and counter seemed more up to date, which a tally led to a mishmash. Workout room consisted of an old treadmill, one exercise bike, and a resistance machine that was decent. For what I paid after taxes...I could have done better. Again, though, the staff were pleasant.
Pros: The place smells like a smokers lounge. Not very clean and staff is not happy to help.
Pros: Was there for 3 weeks. Card was charged without consent 2 times. A staff named chassity had no clue what she was doing.

Cons: The walls were paper thin. You could literally hear everything going on in the next room.
Pros: Location is excellent very easy to get to highway 270 and I70
Cons: Smell, Odor, and people staying in the hotels are very loud in the middle of the night.
Pros: the room was decent size all the light bulbs in lamps worked, nice tv & bed. curtains closed easily, leaving no real gaps for peeking in. there was plenty of lighting in the parking lot.
Cons: the rug was pretty dirty, the rooms being right off &open to the parking lot; in indoor corridor didn't seem very secure for a woman or child. i would for instance imagine that a single woman, or one with a baby or young child would not find the parking area very secure as it & the rooms face a side street where there is not much traffic; especially in the evenings. it feels a little isolated. being that the rooms are not shielded from parking area by a closed in hall way, the noise from people coming & going could create a robem for light sleepers.
Pros: Adults and children in parking lot making loud noise until 10-11 p.m. Hard to get to sleep early as i had planned.
Pros: Good value for the money, close to everything, convenient to have a fridge and microwave.
Cons: Would have been nice to have had more then one blanket and had a hard time regulating the water in the shower.
Pros: Love the location!.... EVERYTHING is close by: shopping, eating, a couple sports bars. Can have a good time. The rooms and service was great....And the waffle house was clean and neat. Continental breakfast was on point
Cons: Had to wait for clean dry towels one morning but that was handled proficiently.
Pros: It was a decent hotel that didn't cost too much. It's not fancy, but it's a good solid hotel that's convenient to get to, with a very nice staff and with a comfortable bed.
Cons: Nothing too fancy here!
Pros: Staff was attentive and pleasant.
Cons: The instant coffee was lacking.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast had a variety of items and it was all delicious!
Pros: The offer breakfast (we did not get there in time to try it so I cannot say how good it is)
The room was quiet (we got there around 1am after a long day of driving)
The staff was nice and helpful
Cons: There was a dehumidifier running in the room and the room still felt damp. I think there might have been a water problem. We were on the first floor so maybe getting a room on a higher floor would have helped.
Pros: Rooms were well equipped with appliances. Appreciated the hot breakfast.
Cons: There is no elevator to the second floor, so limited access.
Pros: Stayed here before and everything was wonderful, however this time we received a phone call from the front desk about an hour after checking in. It was a simple "courtesy call" to ensure that all was going with our stay, however we were sleeping and therefore were caught quite abruptly off-guard by this phone call. I did not want to complain about such a courteous check-up but it was rather random and intrusive. I can't remember a single time in my life that I ever received such a call. If there had been some other more serious issue in consideration I wish the concierge had addressed it at the time of contact. Luckily no further issues were had during our stay. A lovely place to stay, just make sure you have a shampoo and conditioner and not 2 conditioners. This place has the most amazing breakfast options, yogurt to bacon to self made and flipped waffles. But I don't think courtesy calls are a standard at all, they were probably requested by someone next to our room who was exceptionally offended and discreetly courteous by requesting a call to our room. Sorry about that!
Cons: Don't appreciate being interrupted.
Pros: Close to everything, Breakfast included, not bad for the money. Staff was very helpful.
Cons: Bathroom was very small, older hotel that could use an upgrade.
Pros: Nice enough & pool
Cons: No bath towels in room at first. Small bathroom.
