Excellent accomodation, very good choice at breakfast. Large room with balcony (complete with table and chairs). Shower cubicle door did not seal at the bottom and flooded the floor!
Clean, food excellent and staff helpful None
This hotel was beautiful inside and the room was comfortable and up to date. The staff were polite and able to speak many languages! It was also easy to find.We would love to stay there again! Thankyou
Room size and facilities Not offered a room plus evening meal inclusive rate.
The interior design was excellent. The wet room very good and Reception extremely good. Best staff on the receptionist desk have ever come across. Nothing.
Staff very friendly. Hotel position ideal. Interior of roomm and hotel excellent Slow service at check in. Not Asked if we wanted to eat at the hotel. Took 10 mins to check a table was available. Wine asked for was not in stock. Waiter did not move our wine from bar to dining rooom without asking. No side plates for bread. Lack of certain cutlery needed to eat meal with. No continuity of waiters. Waiter had to be asked to pour out the wine on all occasions. Not offered desert menu. Not offerd coffee. Side plates and knives missing from the table when given bread at the start of the meal.Could not order our food for the restaurant at the bar so ordered when we sat down. The food was absolutely excellent. The restaurant needs someone who checks everything all the time to make sure no detail is missing eg. We were not offered a second bottle of wine or asked if everything was ok. I am sure this is a problem that can be overcome with good in house training of staff who obviously were new to the work and not experienced waiters and witresses. This is meany to be constructive criticism and would not stop us staying with you again. Lovely new hotel.
The large sized room Being trapped in the front door system (I arrived late and the outer door opens to let you in, closes behind you but the inner door remains firmly shut, trapping you between.)
Everything was good, most things were excellent. The hotel is reasonably new so everything was clean and worked. Nothing against animals, but they do allow pets to stay in the ground floor rooms, but do not know which rooms, not too good for people with allergies.
Free upgrade of the room, good wi-fi, breakfast, an excellent shower, free parking The receptionist who didn't use the previously made guarantee for payment, though I'd asked her to. So, the amount was blocked and the same amount charged.
Rooms were good size, Internet worked well, and it has the potential to be a good hotel, when the hotel addresses the weaknesses in the daily servicing of the rooms, and ensuring that sink plugs do not get stuck in the closed position. Poor room service, towels were only hand size not normal size, failed to refill tea and milk in rooms, as well as bathroom shower gel, tissues etc. Sink plug got stuck and could not use sink in room during the first night. Overall, hotel did not live up to its 4star rating and cost. Not suitable for people without a car as it is out of town, and near a noisy motorway.
The hotel offers a free taxi service within a range of 15 km. We used this service to and from a music festival in Waregem which is around 15km from Kortrijk. Even calling the taxi at 1-2 at night they still take us back to the hotel free of charge. Excellent outstanding service. The rooms are good with airconditioning and the breakfast is very good. Conclusion: hotel was a very good experience.
Nothing in particular, everything was good, just the way it should be. I enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant.
The staff were very friendly and very helpfull. The food was excellent and central location was a greta benefit. The free shuttle service that the hotel offered withing a 15km radius was excellent and a great idea. This made our stay and our business arrangements so much easier as were attending an event in the expo. The closness to the station and the main street the hotel was a little noisy, but if you closed the windows and used the air conditioning that was available in your room is did not become a problem.
Almost everything Their Internet connection was poor
Central location A bit to modern but that is personal taste
the hotel is located on a road junction, thus there is a lot of noise (Friday & Saturday evening lots of noise from local youths/night clubs)
The hotel is across Kortrijk's train station (therefore very convenient if traveling by train). It is also quite modern and its buffet breakfast is very good (varied and good quality). I didn't like that they did a "credit card authorization check" just after booking the room. I can not see the difference between a charge and a verification and I normally don't like these things (as I don't expect them when using booking.com).
Short walk to the local pubs The bar and restaurant was closed which was not very helpful. No tea making facility as one would expect from at least a 4* hotel. Staff during breakfast was very rude except the chef. Chose this hotel on the understanding that it might be part of the Park hotels but it turned out independent rather than chain of park hotels.
Very clean and smart. Very helpful staff
The special all-in menu's are very good
Location easy to find, vast parking, very clean room, free WiFi, good restaurant. WiFi not fully operational, a rain coat forgotten in the room has not been found later, which left a very bad feeling about my stay.
Staff was very helpful and efficient. Good beds, comfortable room with modern decor. Not everyone has a GPS. Mentioning the road works and the way to get to the hotel in the e-mail confirmation sent by the hotel would have been helpful. Fortunately I was warned by previous guests' comments.
Room lay out, easy to get to, friendly people, near town centre with lots of nice places to eat/drink! No internet (yet)
Nice staff, comfortable rooms, value for money
No remote control for TV in room, therefore couldn't watch tv late at night. Restaurant not open on Monday evenings. I arrived late and then had to go out to find a restaurant on a wet night Finally, there is building work adjacent to the hotel and loud noise from just after 7am in the morning!
Perfect hotel if you visit Gent and Brugge by car. Rooms are very good, breakfast not the best ever but doable. There is free parking, good free wifi and easily accesable from the E40. Check in was extremely convient. Spa is not free according to the information book.
thye room was modern and comfortable with a very good shower
Breakfast was very nice to start the day with. Nice to be in the town and watch the world go by when eating Breakfast. Shower head in the wet room was too high and could not be adjusted.
Poor finishing details to the room. Air conditioning did not work Staff on holiday, so there were no restaurant facilities
The restaurant was not open for evening meals. We ate at one of the local restaurants, which was very good.
Location, Car Park security (oposite the police station). The WiFi link was weak.
Great central location, quiet rooms & good standards of decor. Great breakfast. They did not have our booking & we had to stay in another hotel for the 1st night which was inconvenient. We had booked 2 rooms & as way of compensation one of the rooms was upgraded to a suite for the remaining 2 nights & we received a complimentary bottle of wine so the hotel did try to make amends.
central no frig smaal room
It was in an excelent location. The air conditioning was very good in the room.
Location, comfort Wi-Fi internet connection was out of order
A smile on every one's face when you see them,,a feeling to be at home!
the breakfast is of a very nice quality, the free parking is very useful and some services like lend umbrella are very much appreciated details. I would have liked to have a mini-bar inside the room, like we find in most of the hotels.
Staff were courteous and efficient, room was comfortable although a little small for a hotel in this class, breakfast buffet was excellent. More information on hotel facilities could be provided in the room (e.g. no information provided in room or by staff on breakfast times). Some information on what to do in the local area would be useful in the public areas.
Have used this Hotel several times on my trips to Europe and have always found it excellent value for money and with a professional and pleasant staff Did not appreciate the lounge/bar which is still smoking. It is amazing how you get used to a no smoking enviroment
big bed, loo separate from bathroom, big bathroom, noisy ventilation when bedroom window open
The location is very nice. And rooms are not small. The cleaning was not the best possible.
great hotel - good food and lots of character. also good wireless connection air conditioning did not work - room was very stuffy
Our room was first class
Very pleasant welcome at check-in. Well situated, attractive hotel.
The quiet, peaceful atmosphere and the air of friendliness. Two matters that required attention, reported on Saturday on arrival had not been rectified when we left on Wednesday - The plug in the washbasin was so ineffective I had to continuouisly run the water whilst shaving and washing and the safe battery needeed replacement (or so it seemed) so that we could not use this facility.
Loved everything about tis hotel. Comfortable, clean and relaxing. Great view of the bridge from the room too. Nice breakfast and we would definitely return if we were in the area again.
nice room, good localization, free (working) internet -
Non smoking. Quiet room. Very comfortable bed. Helpful and polite staff. Interior looking slightly dated - needs some maintenance. For example: the wooden floor in our room had splits. Slight water leakage along the floor from bathroom into bedroom.
Good atmosphere, cultivated lokation and enviroment, breakfast exellent
Old country style building nicely located along the river. Gourmet restaurant is the main force of this hotel. For those traveling without car will have difficulty to get to this hotel by public transport. Taxi from Gent could be quite expensive.
The river location was excellent We were aksed to check out at 10 am (1 hour earlier than normal) as a "football team were checking in that day". Should that have made our stay shorter ??
The hotel is in a lovely setting and has a very nice ambiance. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything that your neighbours do in their room or on the hallway.
the restaurant was an unexpected suprise the food there was excellent
Very good standard of food in the brasserie. This was busy with locals using it for dinner. Hotel not busy, given an upgrade in room. Quiet location yet easy access from motorway. Friendly staff and English spoken.
Very nice surrounding, quiet, charming hotel. Better place to stay compare to city hotels and it is not far.
Asa always - very pleasant staff and lovely hotel. In the weekends - they need more staff to help at the busy breakfast time, but he did his best.
The location is superb. Rooms are nbot too big - at least ours - but furnished with taste. The noise was a serious problem. Doors and walls are not well insulated and a lot of noise coming from people returning or leaving their rooms. We could almost understand the conversation of the neighbours from our room. Whilst the location and set-up is very pleasant and recommendable, I would hesitate to send anyone because of the noise in the rooms.
Atmosphere and room, oh and the shower. Also free wifi a good service.
modern interior in old maison de maitre
Central position, parking, cleanliness, staff, quatity of dinner, the staffs communication skills, character of the building, decoration. in general a pleasent experience. Spinach was a bit gritty.
nice smaller scale design hotel
Very good friendly small hotel in the centre of town, but with large hotel standard facilities. No
Great location and beautiful mix of old and new in the hotel. I will always stay there when I return to Kortrijk if there are rooms available.
Certainly the cleanliness, the character of the hotel as well.
the location of the hotel is very convenient as we were planing to visit La Grande Place. the hotel rooms didn't have internet and the rooms are getting old
The service and the quality very well and good. The management and staff very helpfull. The restaurant good but cannot be called Gastronomique.Too expensif in my opinion. I was quite upset to find out it is more economical to book direct with the hotel than with booking .com I could have saved at least the beakfast charge and more.......what booking .com do in these circumstances do ?????
Very comfortable and good location Breakfast was a bit disappointing.
The staff is very friendly, the garden is beautiful, the room is very comfortable, the place is very relaxed.
The friendliness of the owners.
one word to describe this place, perfect! isabelle and patrick give you the most warm welcome, the rooms are beautiful, the food was fantastic! they give you travel advice, nothing is too much trouble. it is ten minutes from Bruges, thirty minutes from holland, yet you are in the middle of the woods with idyllic walks after a busy day in the city. the breakfast is extensive, no less than 5 star! the comfort of this B&B is second to none and it really has the wow factor! we stayed for 4 nights and it wasnt long enough, top marks to this wonderfully, charming and entertaining couple, who go out of their way to make sure you have a great time.
Extremely comfortable and in an excellent setting. Our host Isabel was a lovely person and most charming and welcoming, whilst Patrick's breakfast was to die for, especially his 'not to be missed' eggs. We will certainly stay again and recommend to anyone. Only B&B - We would loved to have sampled Patrick's evening dinners although the local restaurants were excellent - apart from that - Nothing at all.
A very welcoming personal reception, staff very friendly, facilities excellent, sumptuous breakfast, perfect for either a relaxing break or a shopping trip to Bruges. Fantastic value and a great place to stay. Definitely intend to make a return visit.
The huge and beautiful garden, the spacious room, the nicely decorated hall and breakfast room. I did not like the fact that although the bathroom was private, you had to cross the corridor in order to reach it. I also did not like the fact that we were provided with all kinds of information that we did not ask for. Well intended, no doubt, but I just longed for my room after a long journey. The whole set up, except the price, was a bit amateurish.
The very relaxing atmosphere, the quality of the decor and the size of the bedroom. There was nothing to dislike other than the fact that credit cards were not accepted
beautifuly renovated old mansion with garden, close to Brugges, friendly staff, excellent breakfast
Beautiful olde worlde refurbished house,in quite location about 8 kilometres from Bruges centre, very clean, large, and tidy en-suite rooms, lovely friendly atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble, the owners are most welcoming hosts, which made our stay all the more pleasurable, would not hesitate to stay there again and would be happy to recommend to all our friends and family to stay there. Absolutly nothing
The originality of the hotel and the wonderful breakfast.Plus helpful lady owner.Lovely house We were unsure if prior payment had been made. Please make it clear on your reservation form
Pretty room, nice location, kind staff, but good price!
welI Decorated mansion, quiet Iocation a bit outdated TV set
the location, the style and the building and the kindness of staff
The hotel was excellent. The owner was extremely hospitable, very helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was always immacculate and breakfast was superb. The building itself is also full of character both inside and out. We'd happily recommend this hotel to friends and go back ourselves for another stay.
Friendly people. Good breakfast and plenty of it. Lovely grounds with childrens play area. and outside furniture. Nothing
