Customer Service was excellent! They gave me a set of tea pot because they served me broken glasses and cups every morning The layout was confusing but the staffs tried their best to help Overall, i do feel very welcoming especially you just had a long flight
I never stayed in a 5-Stars hotel, where i had so much complaints at one stay (5 days, 4 nights) 1. The glass in the bathroom was chipped, so i put it aside to the table so the maid could take care of it for next swift 2.,Similarly, i also found my tea cup was cracked as well. So i placed it together with the chipped glass. Day2, i found thr exact chipped glass and cup were put back exactly where i found them. So, i moved them to the table, so the maid could replace them Day3, they were back to the same place, in the bathroom and tea set. Finally, i called the housekeeping. I wondered how they cleaned the glasse and cups?! The exact broken glass and cups were back. Did they actually use machine to wash them? However, their response was very kind and they even offered me a set of new tea pot and cup !! 3. Breakfast - i.They served a tray of empty jams (used by someone else) - Yike ! Pretty gross. ii. When i went to get my second round of fruits from the buffet table, they cleaned my table including my unfinished food and capuccino iii. With the price they charged, the buffet breakfast quality and quantity are very underwhelming! 4. Dining - Western dining They claim it is a French cuisine. Mmm, Nope. They are not French cooking at all. If you serve the fish inside a Staub pot, you then call it French. Then maybe :) But the menu does have a good variety of protein and even have glutten-free bread. The service was very slow, but with "customers are always right " attitude. The fishes we ordered were tiny and dry. Again, could not complaint because the people were so nice 5. Dining - Japanese They are extremely over-priced with a nothing special taste. Again, great service with not so good food and very pricey 6. The layout of the floor and.location of lobby was weird! So confusing. Not matching a pricey, 5- Star hotel, or comparable to other Grand Hyatt international hotels 7. No Limo-bus going to Airport before 9am.
Probably the best hotel I did in my life
Nothing. All was perfect
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Staff were super attentive and the facilities were amazing. We were in a deluxe king - it was on the 47th floor facing Shinjuku station so gave great views across the city. Being able to have 24 hour breakfast in the room on the day we were leaving was a big plus. Had a good gym (also on the 47th floor), and the bar on the 52nd floor was beautiful (even if the drinks were a little pricey at 2400 yen each). Would definitely stay there again.
Very little to comment on here. The location is a little far from Shinjuku Station (about a 15 min walk), however the hotel does provide a regular shuttle service to and from the station (every 20 mins until 9:30pm).
Loved the view from the 46th floor of Mt Fuji. Breakfast was fabulous, room service was amazing. Even though certain items were not on the menu, the staff was kind enough to have it specially prepared for us. Overall the staff was very polite and willing to assist whenever asked.
The ambiance a little too dark in the lounge area at night. But I guess they needed to set the lightings like this so that the amazing view could be enjoyed from the 41th floor.
Lost in translation
