doesn't look very nice on the outside but the rooms are nice. I'm 19 and went with 5 of my friends and it was a good place to stay 15-20 min from downtown. recommend
location
The best part of this hotel is the location. If you want downtown & the west end of the city, it's excellent. The price is only good if you book online between $74 to $84 a night. The walkup price is $95 & not worth it. Beds were comfortable & the shower good.
Some of the rooms are very nice & looked refurbished. There were a couple that had AC units that were not refurbished & therefore very loud. The morning staff were very nice & helpful. The afternoon staff… not so much… The "breakfast" was a joke. It was laid out in the cramped lobby outside the check in desk. Consisted of Coffee, tea, raisin bran, juice, bread, peanut butter & jam.
No frills motel with a great location if you're lo
Location suited my needs perfectly. Rooms are good value IF you book online. Walk in prices are $95 & up.
Some of the rooms are not as good as others. Even though they say the rooms were completely refurbished, I had to stay 1 night in a room with an old air conditioner that was very loud. Indy, the morning gal was very pleasant & helpful. The afternoon staff, not so much. No eating facilities. Breakfast is a free for all in the small, cramped lobby. All you get is cereal, toast, coffee, tea & juice. No fruit.
very well appointed facility for its location and what I was expecting from the outside
inavailability of groundfloor rooms when requested-no elevator
Very nice helpful staff
Carpet in the room needs to be cleaned or replaced.
The room was furnished with great quality, clean, superb condition furniture. Lovely browns were very welcoming in modern prints. Room had a mini fridge and microwave. Shower was a walk-in oversized stall. We really enjoyed the overhead shower head (standard sidewall head also present).
N/A
The quality/cleanliness Of the rooms were better than any 5 star hotel you would find downtown for double the price..
I liked everything about the hotel for its low price... however the hotel has 2 buildings the Main one where you check in and another new building thats right next door.. I stayed in the new building. Dont know the conditions of the old one...
It was excellent value for the money! I was amazed at how clean and comfortable our room was. We travelled from the hotel for 2 days on public transit to the downtown toronto area conveniently, cheaply and without problems! The desk staff was very helpful when we asked for directions and area shopping.
nothing
Clean, confortable room and helpful and friendly staff
Close to large mall, and affordable. Clean bathroom too.
Smell in hallway of stall smoke, also when others smoked in the hall you could smell it in the room.
Not being charged for parking the car.
We were assigned to a room that was not ready when we arrived (18:00 hrs). The hotel is rather run down. Personnel was unavailable @ 6:30 when leaving in the morning.
Customer Service at front desk was excellent!
Single Queen Size Bed Room very small.
The staff at the front desk were helpful. Computer near the front desk with free Internet access for guests. Large rooms. Good access to public transportation, though it takes a while to get to downtown.
No extra electrical sockets at the room, I had to disconnect radio/TV/etc to connect things like battery and phone chargers.
