Nothing much to say it is bad bad stay
Poor reception . Poor rooms. Internet is slowwwwww TV is boring It is OVER RATED HOTEL
Good looking place. Good facilities.
Poor location. Some minor annoyances such as the room literature having the incorrect times that breakfast was served.
Avoid. Rooms are old. Paint on furniture is missin
Despite the efforts from the staff, you have to avoid this hotel at any cost.
Avoid this hotel until the room as renovated. Paint is missing. Dirty furnitures. Don't sit on the sofa or you have to clean your clothes immediately. This hotel sounded like a nice deal. How disappointing. Need a complete renovation and avoid this place until every room is renovated. Staff was nice but they cannot change the fact that you have a horrible experience, a disgrace for a 4 star hotel.
Best New Years Hotel in Toronto
STAY HERE! got a group of 5 traveling for New Years? Rent their suites! It's so worth what you pay every single penny. Defiantly made you feel high class and who doesn't want to feelnlikenthat on New Years?!?
Pleasantly Surprised!
I had never heard of this hotel and booked it on a whim by just looking at pictures online. The lobby, the hallways, the common areas etc... all fabulous. Didn't even visit the pool or hot tub on roof, but heard it was great! Plenty of space in the room, nice hardwood floors, restaurant is great - really good food and a great atmosphere. I would 100% stay here again.
If there were 2 bathrooms in the junior suite that would have been even better. Hotel is across the street from Salvation Army so not the most ideal location but easy to walk to different locations and getting a cab is pretty easy.
Affordable luxury that is close to everything in d
Great room, awesome amenities, and the breakfast buffet made getting up early for work much easier. I will come back when traveling personally to enjoy things without having to worry about my work schedule.
Great decor, fantastic breakfast buffet, amazing door and front desk staff, underground secure parking, large bedroom window view, pool, free wifi.
TV was not hi def, limited channels, hot tub was closed when we were at pool area.
Very nice inside and staff was very polite and helpful
didn't see a bar where we could have drinks One of the hot tubs was not working
The staff in the restaurant and maid staff were really nice. There was a breakfast buffet every day. Complimentary water. The room was good sized and nice looking. Mini fridge and microwave were useful. Was within walking distance to many places. The gym there was okay.
Cable tv sucked. Some of the channels were stuck or didn't have sound. Wifi went in and out. The breakfast buffet is just the same thing every day. They should mix it up a little, like french toast one day and waffles the next. The couch and original pillows on the bed were really hard. Had to request other pillows to sleep on.
Had a great time visiting Toronto and our stay at The Grand Hotel exceeded our expectations. This hotel is located in what I think is a perfect location, within 5 blocks of Young / Dundas square (the times square of Toronto) which is right across from the Eaton Centre. The subway takes you right down to Rogers stadium and the CN Tower, or you can easily walk it. Location 5 plus, hotel 5 plus, facilites 5 plus. Would definately stay there again. We took the paid upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite and stayed there with my brother and wife. It was a two storey suite - lots of room for everyone to spread out.
Great front desk personal.Free shuttle service is great.
Delightful , personal and everything included in a reasonable price
Front steps - the entry doesn't do justice to the hotel inside
Love the laminate flooring instead of carpet. staff very friendly. breakfast buffet awesome. size of room was terrific.
Pool area much too warm!!!
Hard wood floors
Nothing
The room was very cozy and comfy. Loved the little kitchen!!! Close to downtown core!
I loved the rooftop hot-tubs in the evening the view over the city was outstanding. The rooms are very clean, I liked that there was no carpeting and that the bedding was all white...It was a fabulous stay.
the hotel was clean and comfortable the food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful
we were woken up on the day of our departure at 7.45 i beleive the checkout time is 11 but as we had forgotten to put the do not disturb sign on the door, although the complimentary newspaper was still there, maybe it was our fault but a lie in would of been nice
Very friendly & courteous staff. Beautiful room with 2 flat screen hd TV's & kitchenette.
Not enough parking spots for the volume of customers.
I stayed at this hotel 4 yrs ago & the standard appears to have slipped. First impressions are everything & to be met by weeds on the bottom step & litter all over the steps ( I don't mean leaves/petals) is not what I would have expected from an otherwise great hotel.
The room was large, well furnished and comfortable. The roof top pool was a excellent feature. The Hotel was central to my interests.
The flower urns at the pool should have been in full bloom. The dead shurbs at the pool should have been replaced.
room size, comfort, pleasant staff.
Our purpose to go to Toronto was to see Niagra Falls ( my 70 yr old mothers dream) and we were so disappointed about the tour. We were told we were going on a tour bus but we did not. Instead we were in the back of a car with 4 other people for 2hrs. Very uncomfortable and disappointing.
