Salvatore is a very friendly host which surely knows a lot about history and politics. His son in law, helped us by translating from italian to english and made sure we felt amongst friends.
There isn't much to mention about the negative side of the experience because everything was really great. If I am to really point a finger at something, perhaps the room could be even cosier in hotter nights if there would be an AC, yet we felt great without any air conditioning whatsoever (outside temperature being around 26-25 degrees celsius over midnight, we even switched off the fan)
Very nice and quiet place to stay. The room was modern and clean, we got amazing breakfast with fresh fruit from their garden, homemade cakes and waffels. The hosts were very welcoming and made good recommendations of where we could go for dinner and what places we should visit. Would definitely stay there again.
There was nothing that we didn't like.
very close to the airport.
There was a heavy smell of sulphur everytime we ran the water (sink and shower). We instead opted to brush our teeth and wash our faces with bottled water. There is also a lot of humidity in the room.
