Very nice hotel with good restaurant and nice staff. Localization in the city centre, between mountains and fiord. Everything was OK.
We reserved a single room plus an extra bed and we got a double room for the same price. The hotel was nice and location in the city not bad but nothing special. The problem is with the town. Unless you want to hike, there is nothing else you can do or see. Odda is a small industrial town.
We were upgraded to extra large business room with great view at no additional charge, nice.
We arrived late in the night and the owner of the hotel was very welcoming. Hotel has a parking for ~15 cars in the front of the hotel and big parking lot behind it. Rooms are not very cozy, but they are large and clean. View from the windows overlooking the fjord is excellent.
Friendly staff, excellent central location , comfortable room and enjoyable breakfast facilities noise from neighbouring bar late at night
Large, comfortable room with excellent view over the fjord
The road were close to the hotell with a lot of traffic. Lots of noise from bars and open spaces near the hotell.
nice clean room with a perfect view
The view, the accommodations, the desk clerk's helpfulness Self-serve coffee/tea in room would be a treat
Friendly helpful staff, small but good restaurant, beautiful views! It's a bit of a walk up from Odda itself, but a beautiful one! It's also a stop on the shuttle to Trolltunga which is really helpful!
We were in Odda to do the Trolltunga hike and the staff was very helpful in giving us advice for the hike and scheduling a taxi for us to get to the guided tour on time. Clean facilities and good free breakfast. Only part I didn't like was that the wifi didn't really work in the room, we had to go to the lobby to use it.
This property has it's own parking lot, and it is located closed to almost everything such as grocery shop, 24hrs convenience gas station, and restaurant..ets. Bed was already made when I checked-in, however, additional extra charge were asked for the linen, which were notified to me before I got there through e-mail). Shoes drier was excellent idea for those who finished trekking to 'Trolltunga' Each room seems to be furnished with mini-kitchen with some kitchen wares, however, it is small I wished there is big common kitchen for the guests
I stayed with a friend and my son and friend (both 15 years old) on our first hiking trip to Norway. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and exceptional value for money, particularly in such an expensive country. We went with the intention to hike to Trolltunga and the location was perfect. Towels and linen are extra, but we took our own and was not a problem
