Pros: Location is remote but that is part of the hotels attraction. The owners could not have been more helpful. The view from our room was exceptional.
Pros: Great location across a beautiful solitary beach. Hosts were great and food was amazing
Cons: It's a 10-15 min walk to town, not exactly a problem but maybe for some people
Pros: Owners were very friendly. Room was clean.
Pros: Stunning location on the quiet side of the Island. Lovely hosts - Clyde and Sandra. Room had a stunning view of the ocean. Clyde's cooking in the evenings was very tasty.
Cons: No air-conditioning - only 1 fan worked and the mosquito net was quite restrictive. (Small points!)
Pros: I like the view the beach is literally 12 seconds away and it's so calming, the rooms were beautiful and very spacious. The owners where great they do everything to make you stay a great experience. Anything you need if they don't have it they will make arrangements for you .
Cons: The location was great only thing is getting there you have to climb a few hills so taking a taxi is about a 7 min drive, so for my family that was the best route to take. If your a couple who likes to walk its just perfect for you.
Pros: Clyde and his wife are very friendly and helpful owners, they gave us very good tips and suggestions during our stay It is a very quiet place just at the beachfront with almost a 'private' beach Clyde cooks very well and everyone should have a meal there so they get a real feeling of the Caribbean cuisine
Cons: To make it perfect it would just need a better mattress for the bed and some toiletries (shampoo)
Pros: The hosts are very nice and friendly. They are very responsive to requests and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Inn is located in a very quiet area with direct access to the ocean. I highly recommend this place for its comfort, location, value for money and host friendliness. I should also add that the owner is a great cook!.
Pros: Clyde was awesome! He was very helpful, getting us cabs and giving advise on where to go for dinner etc. Rooms were comfortable and very quiet. Beach across the street is small but very private, you never have to share.
Cons: Only a couple of rooms had AC. Lighting was very low so hard to read at night in the room.
When you stay at Salt Whistle Bay Resort in Mayreau Island, you'll be on the beach and steps from Windward Islands. Featured amenities include luggage storage and a water dispenser. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: The location - one of the best beaches in The Grenadines and the world; The Staff - Courteous, very helpful yet not over bearing & joyful; The Food - Excellent, tasty, simple and done perfectly The rooms were private & spread far enough for privacy
Cons: The ONLY and major complaint is the unbearable heat all day and at night in the rooms. The ceiling fans must be more powerful & I would suggest a modern, cooling mist, standing fan for each guest room. These are quiet & effective. Mosquitoes in the Caribbean in August are a given; a little convenience store or gift shop on property selling sunblock and insect repellent would be the icing on the cake.
Pros: The most helpfull staff i met, magnificient views, combination of nature and good taste
Pros: Salt Whistle Bay is a pertfect location to spend your holiday there. Beach furniture is provided for the guests, there is a restaurant very close to the beach with excellent food, drinks and very friendly staff. Manager Nikita is very competent person helping with everything you would need. Great atmosphere. Bungalows are spacious and clean. Wifi available at the bar.
Pros: If you get this far off the beaten tourist track then you will already love the place. Sit down, relax and watch the boats and wildlife come and go. Water taxis get you on and off the island (150 ECD each way) and that's fun. The staff are great. They quickly become like family. They give you their time willingly. Chat a while. The short steep hill to the nameless town is well worth it for local caught fish restaurants. My active life stopped for 5 days and I loved it.
Cons: We were bitten at night by flies/bugs. Hotel facilities can be stretched by visiting yachtsmen. But don't let that deter you visiting.
Pros: The room is spacious. The dinners are quite nice, in an American sort of way. The lady who deals with guest relations is friendly and helpful. The beach area is busy with lots of people coming off boats, but it's good that the hotel reserves some of the loungers for the use of their own guests.
Cons: The bungalows have a major flaw in their construction, which is that the doors and windows have large gaps around them. When we arrived we saw that previous gusts had tried plugging the gaps with toilet roll. The gaps mean that lots of mozzies can get into the room, which is less than ideal. We were told that a bug zapper racket should have been available for our room, but that they couldn't find it. We had actually brought our own plug-in mosquito repellent, but couldn't use it as - annoyingly - the room plugs were all US even though the standard plug socket across this part of the Caribbean is UK. We have plenty of UK-US adapters but didn't bring any as we weren't expecting to need them! Moreover the hotel had run out of plug adapters so could only give us a single phone adapter. Finally, beware that if you book the "continental breakfast" package you might need to argue for a decent breakfast. Initially we were given two pieces of toast with butter! Only after I complained was I brought fruit and some mini muffins.
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Property in the middle of a full refurbishment so not quite the finished product yet. Mid 2018 should be better prepared for a full luxury experience.
With a stay at Tenuta Chatham Bay Resort in Union Island, you'll be just steps from Windward Islands and Chatham Bay Beach. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: There was not anything i didnt like
Pros: - the location is beautiful, in the midst of wild nature - the cabanas were well made - Licia, the on site employee, who is left with all the problems, might try to help, however for the price you pay you definitely expect a minimum of standard and that what is promoted on their website is applicable
Cons: - very poor communication. no check-in procedure, explanations, etc - shower didn't work. Was fixed the second day. - bar was not open and empty, filled up after 2 days - a/c remote didn't work, a/c was leaking, never fixed - there were many power outages every day - for the meals, something was always missing: no fruit for breakfast, at lunch no starters, no wine,.. (food was generally rather poor) - there was no excursion which should've been included in the all inclusive package, caused by poor communication with the manager who was not on site - the pool was filthy, no one ever touched it - departure was a catastrophy, didn't know until last minute whether the boat transfer will work, left without breakfast
Pros: Tranquill bay with beautifully sunsets. Staff that will help you with all requests for activities, Magda you are the best. I'll come back.
Cons: I really enjoyed Chatham Bay. Maybe one thing and that is the mosquitoes, but they love me everywhere I go. I have learned to bring repellents
Pros: Very comfortable, beautiful setting. Best sun sets I’ve witnessed. Good selection of drinks. Staff very friendly.
Pros: Couldn’t have asked for more. Very helpful. Beautiful location.
Pros: The bungalow on the beach, the bathroom is nice Location is secluded, which was fine for us. Paddle and kayak for free
Cons: Diner was ok but not various, breakfast is poor, not even a juice included The hotel is not really clean and since it was low season the pool was empty. The beach is dirty and no one thought about taking off the sea weeds in the morning or during the day (and they had plenty of time during the day to do so) We even did it in front of our bungalow but it didn't give the idea to the staff... They were just watching us. We stayed 5 days, the room was made only once. ( and poorly I must say) No welcome drink or complimentary water bottle. No hot water. Last remark, no one told us we had to book a water taxi to reach the hotel. We learnt it like a week before and it was 110$ to add to the bill ( for only 10 minutes drive where the driver was just unfriendly, we arrived drenched because he took a bad wave.)

Pros: The staff was very friendly and warm. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The aircon worked well. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and cosy. It's a short walk to restaurants, shops and to the dock.
Cons: The unit did not seem to be suitable for selfcatering, if someone would ne interested in that. We had no need.
Pros: Great location, very comfortable.
Pros: Union Island is a beautiful location, and Clifton is a lovely island town. The hotel is nice and cosy. The view on the bay, and the pool, are both lovely. The breakfast was good too. For this price, it's very good!
Cons: A bit worn out. It was perfect for us, but if you are looking for a luxury place, that is not it. We had a good time!
Pros: The pool
Cons: Breakfast menus and wifi were terrible.
Pros: pool. nice room with sea view
Cons: hotel a bit worn out
Pros: The service was very good. Ladies working there were very helpful and brought us everything we requested. Good location in the centre of Clifton.
Cons: The price was in my opinion to high for this room quality. We stayed before on St. Vincent in Villa area and we payed much less for much better room quality. Not a huge issue for us but there was no tv in the room despite it was in the description on booking.com.
Pros: Budget hotel but clean and comfortable with a great view. Comfortable beds and great water pressure and temperature in the shower!
Pros: Air conditioner, mosquito net, room size
Cons: Toilet was not clean, the grounds was poop cover by various animals, amount and smell of seaweed
